Miracle workers. For several years, I lived with a shoulder injury that would periodically cause me severe pain. I went to several different doctors, but every time they would just massage it a little bit, give me relaxants, and send me on my way. My first Boston winter, that injury flared up like none other. On a whim I went to see Dr. Patrick and Dr. Pezeshki. After only a few treatments, my neck pain was greatly reduced. Now, a year and a half after finding them, it's almost non-existent. Permanent relief with no drugs and no surgery. Don't have enough good things to say about these guys.

Dr. Patrick Doody is a very competent doctor who is treating body a whole and he is always looking for the cause of the problem not the symptom. I am a Disabled Veteran who incurred injuries while serving on active duty in the 80's. Age and degeneration, along with an increase in pain led me on an urgent search for a chiropractor that accepts Medicare, carried a style of theraputic pillow I was looking for (this will be the last pillow I sleep on), and practices hands-on "old school" chiropractic that I am accustomed to, along with modern day techniques. I hit "pay dirt" with Harvard Square Chiropractic on all accounts!! Dr. Doody identified 7 musculoskeletal conditions that went undetected by other providers. I had active trigger points on my upper back, mid back, hips, and buttocks that produced pain elsewhere. I had pain that started in my hips, shot down my leg, and culminated with burning on the tops of my feet and around my ankles. The culprit is lumbosacral radiculitis that was previously diagnosed as sciatica and trochanteric bursitis. Lumbosacral radiculitis prevented me from sleeping on my sides, and as a "side-sleeper" this condition increased the level of pain from lack of sleep. Dr. Doody found the "root cause" of my pain and treated its origin. He accurately diagnosed the 7 conditions by listening intently to my complaints, read my recent radiology reports, and conducted a hands-on exam. I was surprised at his gentleness throughout the exam; he did not have a need to apply unnecessary pressure to painful areas or extend my legs to their breaking point. I was successfully treated with trigger point therapy, spinal manipulations, and manual therapy. I began message therapy with Susan to enhance the work Dr. Doody was doing. I turned to Sara because I was in between acupuncturists. I could "write for days" about the ways in which Dr. Doody, Susan, and Sara have enriched the current quality of life I am fortunate to have. They are skilled professionals, experts in musculoskeletal disorders. I am able to get dressed, put on shoes and socks, and tie my shoes without screaming in pain. I am able to walk for exercise and pain relief without stopping to rest. I am currently walking a 25-30 minute mile with the assistance of a cane; I forget I have osteoarthritis in my knees, hips, and back on a good day. It just doesn't get any better than this! I strongly recommend Harvard Square Chiropractic. The office is managed by Tricia, one of the most efficient and knowledgeable office managers I have had the pleasure of working with. All I have to do is "show up and relax" because the nightmare of dealing with insurance companies is in her hands. Harvard Square Chiropractic continues to be my wellness center even though the initial pain I went in for is under control. I do not want to lose the ground that has been gained and have to start over from the beginning if these injuries "flare-up" again.

Dr. Patrick is THE BEST chiro i hv *ever* had adjust & fix my mis-alignment! He is intuitive & applied trigget point & myofascial pressure to loosen knots before making his magic moves to vanquish my pain. I have degenerative disc disease, my lumar facets "catch" making it difficult to function and a labral hip tear. Trust me, I *know* from a over a decade of chiro care one who really knows how to work a body. Dr. Patrick Doody is A#1! I was visiting Cambridge for 3 wks and need weekly adjustments. HSC front office was extremely helpful in accommodating both my 12 yr old son & I. 7 stars.

I was a patient of Dr. Pezeshki when he was practicing in Watertown and although I live far from Cambridge, I have to say that it was worth the long drive to come in and see him. I have yet to meet a caring and professional chiro like him. I was suffering from severe neck pain for a while and he was able to help me get better within a few sessions. He takes his time and will explain everything in detail which I really like.

I had issues with my neck/spine after a workout incident and it was recommended by some friends that I see a chiropractor. Other friends were skeptical (some people are skeptical about chiropractics in general I guess). I can't speak for others, but Pat's approach really does work. I am much better off physically today than when I started and the entire experience was professional, pleasant, etc. Nothing but Excellent scores for this place, recommended highly to anyone looking for this sort of thing.

Dr Pezeshki works wonders!! He takes to the time to describe exactly why my back pain has come about, and goes on with explaining what the process is to alleviate the pain. I have been his patient 2+ years now, and would recommend him to family and friends all the time. He is def the answer to relieving any of your back pain!!
