Amherst Family Chiropractic is fantastic! I have received chiropractic care at a few different practices, and the care I received at Amherst Family Chiropractic was among the best. The doctor addressed my neck and upper-back pain quickly and effectively. I was very impressed with the way he knew exactly where to adjust based on my description of my pain, whereas previous chiropractors I visited took some time and multiple visits to figure out how to address my problems. He also provided me great tips for preventative care, which I now use habitually, at the end of each session! Overall, I can confidently recommend Amherst Family Chiropractic to anyone looking to try chiropractic for the first time or for a new doctor.

Had a disappointing experience here, both in terms of adjustments (causing more pain) and a lack of interpersonal skills from the practitioner. I felt bullied, condescended and that I was being hurried along so practitioner could get to his next 15 minute appointment. A real lack of compassion. Heard some similar things from friends after discovering that they had been there too.

Full disclosure: I have worked here as a massage therapist. I have been a patient of Dr. Kane's since 2015. I find his work very effective, while he is also.careful and conservative. I never have to worry that he'll injure me. Dr. Walder joined AFC recently. I have had couple of sessions with him, and they were very helpful. Sharon, at the front desk, is lovely. I've never heard her be rude or say an unkind word. I've recommended AFC to several friends, and they've been very pleased with their results.
