Dr. Hands is the second chiropractor whose care I've been under. What I appreciate about Dr. Hands' practice is that he doesn't just rush you through for an adjustment and traction and send you on your way. He actually takes time with his patients. He sent me for an X-ray and then later for an MRI. My former chiropractor didn't even broach the subject. Dr. Hands explains how his treatment methods are supposed to fix my structural skeletal problem, not just give temporary relief. Admittedly I can't comprehend a lot of it, but it's not my field of expertise. ;-) Another thing I like about this practice is that Dr. Hands incorporates physical therapy exercises into his treatment. He shows me exercises that I need to be doing at home to complement the chiropractic therapy I receive in the office. My primary doctor (on the Eastern Shore) really liked hearing this and said he would recommend other patients he may have living in the Crofton area to Dr. Hands for this reason. Sometimes the wait times are long. Admittedly, I almost didn't stick with him because of this, but within a couple appointments I decided to stay and realized the times can be long because of the personalized care he gives. In our culture, we are always in such a rush. It's actually nice to have a doctor that takes the time to properly diagnose and treat his patients.

I have been to several Chiropractic Offices within the last 13 years (I know, I know) however Precise Chiropractic the best and will ALWAYS be my go to. The office is clean and so welcoming. I recently started with Dr. Hands because of a minor adult scoliosis which was impacting my horse back riding. Over the past few months, he has helped me become more balanced and taught me exercises to strengthen my core. As a horse back rider, maintaining balance is vital! I've been to a few chiropractors through the years but never had such an amazing experience than I have with Dr. Hands. He takes the time to get to know you and your needs. I found that many chiropractors will do a full back adjustment and then send you on your way. Dr. Hands will focus on the area of need and use different techniques. He will then spend time going over exercises that will help you once you leave his office. What makes him even more amazing is that he will tailor those exercises based on your personal lifestyle. For example, I just started running and he will give me exercises to not only strengthen my back but to help other muscles that I will use during my runs. I cannot recommend him enough.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE I saw Dr. Hands in 2015 for 3 visits, after being told I would only owe $20 per visit in which I paid every time..I received an invoice 14 months later stating that I owed them $250. I hadn't seen them in over a YEAR, their billing department is awful, extremely unprofessional and untimely. I was refused my medical record every single time it was requested, which is ILLEGAL. Still have not received it and on top of that he attempted to sue me...over $250. He is VERY sue happy, and trust me...if you try to contact the doctor directly to discuss the matter, he avoids you and will send his attorney to you instead. I have been threatened by this office and his attorney, that if I were to leave a review, they would pursue legal action. I want my voice to be heard so that no more of his patients go through what I went though! Worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO!!! I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this office!!

Dr. Hands was recommended to me by a fellow fitness instructor. In a nutshell, I have torn meniscus and arthritis in both knees. I've been feeling for the past year that my body has been "out of whack" and needed some adjustment. I've been seeing Dr. Hands for the past month and not only has he readjusted/realigned me; but more importantly has been assigning me exercises every week to strengthen the supporting muscles around the knee. I can say I've been able to MOVE better and my pain has diminished significantly. Although I'm +60 years old, I appreciate that Dr. Hands is a young practitioner that not only integrates traditional chiropractic methods (which are wonderful,) but understands that fitness is key to improving and enhancing one's overall health, and strives to incorporate that into his healing. I definitely would recommend giving Dr. Hands an opportunity to talk with you and suggesting a plan of action for your healing/success. UPDATE: I've now been seeing Dr. Hands every month during the past year for a "tune-up." No matter how minor or major my aches, I leave his practice feeling wonderful and refreshed. I highly recommend giving Dr. Hands the opportunity to achieve your health goals.

3 years ago I fell down a flight of stairs and landed on my neck. Since then I have been suffering from chronic migraines. I have been to 5 different specialists over the last 3 years. Dr. Hands was the first one who accurately figured out what was causing my migraines. Not only was he able to help with immediate pain management, he's also been able to provide more lasting healing and relief. Dr. Hands is very warm and caring. He is also very careful with his work. Dr. Hands is GREAT! I had lower back pain pretty much all the time that turned out to be a straight spine putting pressure on the lower vertebrae. Dr. Hands has been able relieve the pain and even gave me some exercises to do at home. He is not only very knowledgeable but personable as well. DO NOT GO TO THIS DR STAY FAR AWAY. They will tell you your copay is 30 dollars and two years later they will tell You you owe them 500 dollars. He's a good doctor but all he cares about is money!!!!!!!!!! I've had mutiple people reach out to me after I posted a review on yelp and say that he did the same thing to them. Simply put, Dr. Hands is the best chiropractor I've seen. You come in thinking you have knee pain. You learn that you really have a hip problem. Dr. Hands does a terrific job of assessing the underlying problem that is causing the pain. That way, he can provide permanent relief rather than a temporary fix. I came to Dr Hands with a badly torn meniscus and was on crutches at that time. I was slated for surgery and gave him three weeks to see if we could at least get me ready for the surgery as I would have PT after the surgery anyway. That was 7 weeks ago and I eventually cancelled the surgery and am walking with zero pain and am now strengthening my leg muscles to eventually get back to cycling. Dr Hands has done a miraculous job, I didn't believe it was possible given the amount of pain I was in at the outset. I also visit Dr Hands when my lower back is out and walk away every time as though it never happened!

I'm a new patient for Dr. Hands but over a short time period and with an open mind his total approach to solving years worth of problems seems to be paying off. He's been able to effectively treat the muscular problems that I've had in my shoulders along with reducing the area of numbness I've had in forefinger since a skiing accident 8 years ago. Its impressive what he's been able to accomplish in a short time period. I know a lot of this is due to his creative approach of combining the use of Dry Needles to help focus and stimulate regeneration at focus trigger points within my neck and shoulders and then through focused muscle massage, adjustments and my homework of exercises to clear up years worth of discomfort and pain. He's focused on improving quality of life which means fix the problems not just treat the symptoms. I don't expect to be a long term patient but I do expect to be a long term supporter. Thank goodness for Dr. Hands. He is the most thorough and knowledgable chiropractor of at least six I've seen over the past ten years. The others have simply done an adjustment, but he goes the extra mile to help make it last with exercises and instructions for home. He also does everything he can to help fit you in when you're in pain. Our vacation last year to Florida was saved when he took me in last minute. I threw my back out before we left and couldn't even stand up straight. He adjusted me into instant relief, and we were able to still go. He was also great with my recent sprained ankle. WARNING!! STAY FAR AWAY ! The staff and doctor treated my wife and I horribly! Completely unprofessional and ruthless. They will tell you that you only owe a small copay to get you in the door, then see you as many times as they can, then they will hit you with a huge bill a year later. On top of that, if you don't pay it or have a discrepancy, they will sue you! I have worked with many other places and when I first go in, before I'm even seen, they sit you down and go over EXCATLY how much you will owe each visit, including co pay and any deductible you might owe. NOT HERE! They will tell you one thing and a year later (I'm guessing because of their horrible staff) will send you a bill, no explanation, or will just ignore you and send you to a lawyer...who will also treat you with zero respect. I personally was told from the lawyer, that if you don't pay now, I'm going to get as much money as I can out of you for my client. He also told me that everyone wants everything for free, and if you go to a store they expect to get paid...using his own example, I personally think they should all go to chick-fil-a and see how to treat customers! When I go in the drive thru, they tell you how much you owe and when you pick the food up ?!?!?! It's the SAME amount they told you and they do it with a smile and a hope you have a great day! Not at PRECISE CHIROPRACTIC ! When you receive their service, tell you ok your bill will be $20.00 per visit then send you a huge bill a year later! This is not how anyone should be treated. I feel horrible for my wife because she is the most honest person and I hate to see her be treated so badly! Hopefully everyone reads this so you also don't have to go through this nightmare! Please do not go here!!! I also saw a review on yelp that said pretty much the same thing! Woman went here and got hit with a bill a long time after with no explanation. AVOID!!!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Hands! I was under care of a different chiropractor before I decided to get a second opinion. I had a really bad neck and shoulder pain, to the point that I felt numbness to it. I was so glad that I found Dr. Hands and decided to give it a shot. In weeks, I felt a lot better than my old treatment and dry needling helped me a lot to alleviate the pain. I felt like a brand new person and slept well. He also gave me ergonomics tips since I work in front of a computer everyday. I can't recommend Dr. Hands and Precise Chiropractic & Rehabilitation enough. After putting up with neck pain for some time that was to the point of being debilitating, I decided to see if I could get help. Dr. Hands took the time to listen to my situation and ask lots of questions, coming up with a personalized treatment approach that initially involved mild adjustments and lots of challenging strength exercises. After a month of steady improvement, I was feeling better than I had in years. Also, my lower back pain that I had put up with for years is now completely gone. He never makes us come more than we need to, no unnecessary repetitive visits. If he tells you to come back a certain amount he means it, no tricks, he's not just being money hungry. I came to Dr. Hands very skeptical but in pain. My massage therapist recommended him so I gave it a try. I had previously been to chiropractors that were flat out scam artists but that is not the case with Precise Chiropractic or Dr. Hands. Dr. Hands is obviously knowledgeable and willing to explain everything he intends to do. The first visit relieved my pain considerably and after the second visit I was feeling better than I had in months. Before Dr. Hands, I was treated by another Chiropractor in the area who helped me recover from several previous injuries. I was mostly pleased with my treatment but over the last year several nagging issues kept reoccurring and that chiropractor really had no answer other than making another adjustment. Dr. Hands does so much more than just adjust. He uses a variety of methods that change from appointment to appointment and focuses not just on healing an existing injury but also preventing future injuries through better habits, stretching, & strength exercises. Dr. Hands is by far the best chiropractor I've ever had. The previous doctors I had gone to didn’t even take the time to figure out the cause of my problem. They just diagnosed me with something I didn't have or just wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way. What I liked most about my experience with Dr. Hands was that he took the time to explain everything to me. For example, the cause of my injury, how we are going to fix it, what options I had, how the exercises he provided would help with my injury, and much more. I've received several adjustments and dry needling and in one month I was 100% better. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking optimal chiropractic results!

I was diagnosed several years ago with 4 protruding, herniated discs in my neck. I'm told I'm not a candidate for surgery because of the amount of the discs. I got an injection from a pain management center a few years ago, which seemed to work. I needed another one this past Spring, and it didn't help. I was scheduled to receive another one, but the more I thought about it, I decided not to. There have been times the pain and stiffness has gotten so bad that I literally cannot turn my head. This was the case a month ago. Dr. Lief Hands was recommended to me. With my very first appointment, I left his office with such a feeling of freedom - I was able to move my head, bend my neck, all pain and stiffness free!!!! He explained my situation, and showed me what he could do to get me where I need to be. I've had several appointments with Dr. Hands in the past month, each one better than the other. I suffered a low back injury in March. I saw an orthopedic doctor, went to physical therapy for a couple of months -- my pain decreased but it never fully went away, and my range of motion never came back. I started seeing Dr. Hands in 2009 when I hurt my back mowing grass. I was on my way to a full recovery when he left the practice I was visiting. I continued with another doctor, but slowly deteriorated. When I discovered that Dr. Hands opened his own practice, I was in severe pain. I couldn't sleep because any movement caused shooting pains in my lower back. Sitting or standing for long periods was impossible. Back problems run in my family and I was convinced I would have to resort to surgery. Dr. Hands takes the time to explain why you are in pain and teaches you ways to help accelerate your recovery. He helped me find other practitioners to help with pain management until we got to a point that the exercises and chiropractic adjustments would help. I had neck and upper back pain from an auto accident, that were causing migraine headaches. Before seeing Dr. Hands, I was having headaches about 4 times a week. After 3 visits, I was able to ditch my heating pad at home (for my neck) and headaches are greatly reduced! Oh my aching back!.. No more! I was hesitant on going to the chiropractor to help solve my back problems mainly because my insurance wouldn't cover it.
