On top of the fact that Dr. Healy put me at ease having never been to a chiropractor before, his treatment resulted in the fastest turn around time I have had yet with a back injury.--of which I have had several. Dr. Healy also gave me some exercises to do to help me avoid these issues in the future. I highly recommend Healy Chiropractic and here's why: My back began bothering me days before I found out I was pregnant. Sometimes it hurt a lot, sometimes it hurt a little. I knew I should have done something about it, but it was never "bad enough" to stop me from activities of daily living. It did, however, preclude me from most exercise. The pain and discomfort eventually became so miserable that getting out of bed, off the couch, walking around at work, was beyond what I thought a 28-week pregnant person should endure. I was able to get in the same day I called, which to me is pretty important. The hours worked with my schedule (I work full time) and the location was en route from work to home. I was also seen in a timely fashion -- all of the aforementioned are "convenience" factors that other practices cannot accommodate. Let's talk about quality of care. My issues and concerns were listened to, explanations were given of the "why" things were the way they were and "what" could be done (both by adjustments and by things I could start or stop doing on my own part.) I think I was up and moving with minimal pain after just the first adjustment; however, after 8 weeks of continued follow up I can honestly say that the pain I endured for months and months is just a distant memory. The third trimester is the best I have felt all pregnancy. I was very pleased with Dr. Healy's knowledge and experience with pregnant patients and I truly felt (and continue to feel) as though I am doing something good for myself and baby. If you are pregnant and have any sort of discomfort, especially as early as I did, I would highly recommend seeking chiropractic care; Healy Chiropractic will certainly meet your needs not only for convenience, but the quality of care is excellent. I also highly recommend treating yourself to massage therapy in conjunction with your adjustments. The calm, relaxing environment and skilled massage therapist (Katie) provide great, tailored-to-you sessions. -KD

If not for Dr Healy and Healy Chiropractic I would still be living in chronic pain. Due to a car accident and a very physical job my neck and back were completely messed up. I used to have to lay down every hour because the pain in my neck was so unbearable. Countless Xrays and MRIs showed nothing and hours of physical therapy provided no long term relief so a couple years ago I was referred to him by my primary doctor. Having never been to a Chiropractor I was really nervous, but Dr Healy calmed my nerves and went to work to fix my aching neck and back. He not only did adjustments but suggested exercises to do to help the healing process. Within a month (8 visits later) I was pain free. I continue to see Dr Healy when I need any adjustments and for maintenance to keep everything in its place. I now stand straight and tall, walk, sleep and work without constant pain. I highly suggest Dr Healy and Healy Chiropractic he is very knowledgeable and in my opinion he is one of the best out there.

I found myself at Healy Chiropractic with an Achilles tendon injury that wasn't healing to my satisfaction and was keeping me from doing the things that I enjoy. Dr Healy and I spent time discussing my injury in detail. He was interested in what treatments I had gone through already and what the results were. We discussed at length treatment options and what he felt would be the best choice. We talked about advantages and disadvantages to the choice of treatment, and I felt totally at ease with my decision. I have had 4 appointments thus far, with fantastic results. I have gone to Healy Chiropractic for both Chiropractic care and massage therapy. As a firefighter, the job can be very physically demanding and hard on my body. I had a neck injury last year that made it difficult to work and I was uncomfortable almost all the time. Dr. Healy's combined knowledge of sports medicine and chiropractic give him the ability to treat me and keep me performing in my physically demanding job. His multi dimensional approach to his treatment plan worked incredibly well for me. He recommended a supplemental massage to help relax the muscles around my shoulder blade. I definitely noticed a difference immediately and was pain free within 48 hours. The stretches that were demonstrated definitely helped me get better and stay better.
