Dr Slocum has been a blessing to me. We met through a fortuitous Facebook add for his practice when I was in the market for a new Chiropractor. His patience with the usually hassles of dealing with Veterans Administration approval for Community Care outside the VA were key to me even getting the help I needed. fter much red tape that had nothing to do with his practice and much to do with the VA we finally got X-rays and he started putting me back on my feet. I had NO idea I was in that bad shape but he has been peeling away the layers. I have severe arthritis in much of my back, hips, and knees. S1-L4 are fusing all on their own and limit how much I can walk and how far. I was well on my way to becoming the Hunchback Of Bangor. In a month he has gradually worked through the many stuck and out of place joints and I am in a far lass pain now. My flexibility is improving week by week and I am walking and moving far better. It's a journey when a body has as many issues as I do and Jeffery is all about walking it with his patients and getting to the root cause while correcting things gradually. I have been seeking chiropractic help for around 2 years now and have seen many practitioners both good and bad. This guy is a keeper. He is also one heck of a nice guy to talk to and share ideas with. I highly recommend him and his work.

I had seen chiropractors in the past after a weight lifting injury, I never really got any permanent relief. My belief was chiropractors are for an injury. ( My opinion has changed.)I was checking out fb one day and happened to click on a video with Dr Slocum talking about pain and being able to get permanent relief, the passion in his voice and the concern he had to help others was evident. I saw him in Sept. I continue to see him weekly. I am feeling better each time and actually have so much more mobility. I have been able to enjoy long motorcycle rides this summer without back pain. I love a good chiropractic adjustment. I can't imagine life with out them. He is a great adjuster (lol), cheerleader and friend. Looking forward for the next 40 days. Stay tuned. I highly recommend him. Oh and a great hugger!

Was skeptical about giving chiropractic care a chance. After suffering with leg pain for several years with no results from my pcp I see a post about Dr. Jeff and his new practice in Bangor. Decided to give him a try, so glad I did after several visits my leg pain is much improved. Highly recommend Dr. Jeff, trust in him as he will take good care of you.

I have been seeing Dr. Jeff since he opened here in Bangor. I like how he is more advanced than some of the other chiropractors I have seen. His family has all been involved in this field of medicine and I feel that is why he has evolved to a more advanced treatment, by treating the whole body. He looks at what causes the initial problem (s), and strives to get you feeling your best. Once you are there, it is to keep you there - so you don't have the same reoccurances. He is using more modern equipment and explains things as he does them. He has written a book on the subject and he is a guest speaker in many places on his chiropractic philosophy. I feel fortunate to have him as my chiropractor. I highly recommend his services. Your back is the way to keep the rest of you healthier. Your different nervous systems send impulses back and forth from your brain through your spinal column. It makes sense to keep it functioning for the rest of your body to perform at it's best.
