I started going to Dr. Gallentine last year to manage my back pain from sitting at a desk all day and have been very happy with my care! I can't function on muscle relaxers. He was able to get me straightened out and "fixed" my back. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome. This year, I started seeing Dr. Gallentine for lower back pain during my pregnancy and to help keep me aligned for birth. I felt very comfortable and trusted him to take care of me after the care I received last year. During the final weeks of my pregnancy, my baby was still breech and was getting to the point where he needed to be turning in order to avoid an ECV (where your doctor tries to turn the baby) or an eventual C section. Dr. Gallentine was able to perform the Webster Technique on me which helped balance my pelvis and loosen up ligaments enough for the baby to turn on his own! I noticed a huge difference in the baby's position after just 2 appointments and could feel that he had more room to move around and drop. I was thrilled to avoid any kind of medical intervention!

I was always very skeptical of chiropractors and skeptical of going to them. After being in a wreck in June of 2017 I was left with back pain. After failed attempts at PT (physical therapy) and many sleepless nights due to pain I decided to give Dr. Gallentine and Lexington Fanily Chiropraxtic a try at the recommendation of my mother. It works. After each visit I am left with reduced pain and my pain no longer reaches the level it used to. Anybody on the fence about chiropractic care I would say go give Dr. Gallentine a chance. It could change your life. Also, he has the nicest office staff you could ever meet. They do a great job of making you feel welcomed and important. Plus, they have great cookies.

Called late last night about 6:30pm in pretty significant pain, I felt one of my disk slipping out, gave my normal chiropractor a call but it turns out her business was sold so I called here and got a friendly lady on the phone and tried to set up an appointment. She told my Dr. Brown was literally heading out the door, I needed help so I talked to him and he stayed late to help me out. I got in pretty quick sobbing threw the agony and went threw the process of getting me straitened up. I was out of there in a very efficient and timely matter feeling 80-90 percent better! A few more visits and I should be good as new. I guess I have a new normal chiropractor, good equipment, nice doctor, nice staff, good location, and willing to help out in a emergency what else could you ask for.

When he expains your xrays, he speaks to you on your level, and tells you where you are and the plan of where you will be healthwise. He and the staff are always kind and friendly. Took my husband in after a friend gave us a referral. He has been having terrible lower back pain to the point where he can barely do anything. We went in and were greeted by incredible staff, so welcoming and made you feel at home. We were so happy they took X-rays because it showed the problems he led having. Completely messed up! I would highly recommend Dr. Heath Gallentine for Chiropractic treatment. I sustained a major back injury at work that will get progressively worse with time; Dr. Heath Gallentine of Lexington Family Chiropractic provided numerous services/adjustments. The treatments worked very well, until my condition worsened. Thus, my treatment plan changed over time requiring additional medications for this condition, and a discontinuing of chiropractic care. In the first week of January 2013, I sustained a shoulder injury utilizing the Chuck Norris Total Gym. The joke was “never pick a fight with Chuck Norris." A long story short, physical therapy was prescribed by the UK Sports Center. After several PT appointments, I experienced a great amount of lower back pain, not necessarily from the PT, but enough to discontinue treatment. On April 5, 2013, I visited Dr. Gallentine for this shoulder injury. On the first visit to Dr. Gallentine for this injury I noticed remarkable improvements with movement, without pain. That night I had my best rest since the shoulder injury. Furthermore, I will also seek additional treatments for my chronic lower back pain. “You don’t have to live with the pain.” Options do exist. I went to Dr. Gallentine a bit nervous since I've never been to a Chiropractor before. Moments after walking in the front door I soon realized I was in good hands. The ladies made it seem like we'd known each other for years, and that took my nerves right away. Then the lovely lady that helped with calming me during the therapies was a joy. Once meeting Dr. Gallentine he asked me questions regarding my injured back, and then took xrays to see the core reason behind my pain. That point I got nervous again...I knew the adjustment was about to happen. I'm one that won't even crack my knuckles, so this was freaking me out! He calmed me down right away, walked me through all of it, and it didn't hurt at all. It immediately made me feel so much better. I couldn't believe it! Since...I've been back 5 times and he's getting me realigned more than I ever could have hoped. My first visit I could barely stand straight, sit straight, or do any daily routines. Now, I'm doing it all...and it's all thanks to Heath Gallentine. I highly recommend this Chiropractor office to anyone! I was the biggest skeptic, and now I'm the biggest fan! I'd give more stars if it were possible. It feels like you're going to visit your friends and get your Chiropractic care while you're there! Everyone greets you by your first name and offers refreshments. It's just a great feeling as soon as you walk in the door. Doctor Valentine is very down to earth, compassionate, a wonderful family oriented man and good at his profession. If you go anywhere else it won't be near as good as the experience you'd have at LFC, I promise!! They even have a massage parlor right there in the same office!! This is the best place I've ever been . Great greeters make u feel so welcome and great care . You be surprised how many nerves the spine controls. I don't only suffer from scoliosis but I suffer from alot of mental illness such as ; depression , bipolar and OCD disorders and when I say I don't EVER need to be on medication for my disorders I mean it ! Went in crying, came out smiling.........I have struggled with my sciatic nerve for the past 8 years. My back is so sensitive. I have to be careful where and how long I sit. I can not sleep on a soft mattress or my back tightens up to the point I can not pick my feet up off the ground. I can not cough/sneeze to hard cause it hurts so bad, and on and on. As my last resort I thought I would try a chiropractor. WOW!!!!! Why didn't I do this years ago. The staff is amazing. The office is so inviting. The service is fast and sufficient. Absolutely amazing results after my first two visits! After suffering with almost constant headaches for three years, the headaches were gone after my second visit. Low back pain prevented me from walking distances without pain radiating down into my legs. Now I can walk without that pain, and I can also walk up and down stairs. I was in Florida and somehow hurt my upper back muscles. When I came home it was apparent I needed to see a chiropractor. I had not been to one in at least 10 years. I looked on the web and found one close to me, the Lexington Family Chiropractic. It sounded like a place for me. Believe me it was. Dr Heath Gallentine said he would get me fixed and he did. He is energetic, and really enjoys what he does. Lisa starts me off with therapy and Dr Gallentine finishes with the adjustments. I have had two massage sessions afterward and those have really helped also. The people who work there are so friendly, they seem to really enjoy working there, and that says a lot about his practice. After learning this was no longer the case for me, I sought out other modalities of health care. How to Shop for your favorite Chiropractic Doc?? Tour the facility, listen to how staff interact with each other and with patients, listen for how the physician speaks to and responds to patients (children and adults) as they are going in and out of rooms; if they pass your expectations up to this point, then it's time for a visit. If kids aren't afraid, then I'm not afraid. And when they hug Dr Gallentine that sealed the deal for me. Lexington Family Chiropractic facility is state of the art for the professional excellence and the "personal touch" that is lacking in Dr's offices in Lexington. The equipment is new with all the up to date capabilities. Not like traditional Chiropractic offices. The facility is spotless. The E Stim room is cleaned between every patient. The décor is the same as an upscale salon. Dr's offices don't have décor. You are offered tea, coffee, water and cookies that they bake in the office! Up stairs is a beautiful massage facility. With Terrific therapists. Every person I come in contact with on any given day are Happy!!! They all love what they do and love taking care of you!!! Always!! This is exactly what Dr Gallentine and his wife Christy (a nurse) are like. Dr Gallentine is always happy, and full of energy. As a bonus he is truly a Gifted Dr. in Chiropractic. I would recommend Lexington Family Chiropractic to anyone and everyone! I went to see Dr Gallentine at Lexington Family Chiropractic after hearing some friends rave about how wonderful Dr Gallentine and his staff were. It's an amazing place with caring people. The office staff know your name when you walk through the door, if it's your second visit or if it's been months since they've seen you. They always ask how you're doing and actually want to know. And there's always food and drink on hand. It feels more like a mini-spa than going to the doctor. :) When I started my treatment it was initially for an old injury to my lower back, but Dr Gallentine has helped with so much more than just that. The lower back injury can sometime cause my hips to be out of line and it would often make my knees and hips hurt by the end of the day if I was on my feet a lot. After the preliminary adjustments I noticed less pain in my knees and hips after being on my feet all day. And with routine maintenance I've gone from having my entire back spasm up 2-3 times a year, to now over 3 years free from having that happen. I've also gone from 2-3 migraines per month to 3-4 migraines per year.

When I made the decision to see a chiropractor, I made the decision of which one to see based on Google reviews. Lexington Family Chiropractic had the best reviews, so I chose them. I called and made my appointment and they told me that my first visit would take about an hour and a half. They were able to get me in the next day. When I arrived for my appointment the next day, the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I sat down in the waiting area, waiting to be taken to a room. Within a few minutes, I was moved to a room. When they moved me to the room, I was told my visit would actually take about two hours. After waiting in the room for about ten minutes, they said they needed the room to do an adjustment on another patient and moved me back to the waiting area. At the time, I was in a lot of pain, so getting up from the chair in the room and moving to the waiting area was not easy and very painful. Mr. Gallentine even took note of this. In an effort to ease the inconvenience of having asked me to go back to the waiting area, he jokingly made a comment about how they had picked me of all people to move because I was in so much pain. After about five to ten minutes or so in the waiting area, they moved me back to the room after they finished the other patient's adjustment. I sat there, with my husband, waiting. Much to my surprise, they had the audacity to move me again. They said, "he doesn't want to see you in this room, he'd rather see you in another room since you're a new patient." I can't recall the room numbers but they moved me from one room to another. At this point, I was infuriated and deeply frustrated. I had been moved three times and still hadn't met Mr. Gallentine, formally - only in passing when he made his remark. In addition to waiting, I was being moved from room to room, and not just one time! I hesitated to leave, but after being treated in such an unprofessional manner, I decided that it was in my best interest. I left without ever formally meeting Mr. Gallentine (outside of his passing remark mentioned above). I thought the manner in which a new patient was treated was very unprofessional and based on my experience, I would not recommend this office. I hope that this is not always the case with new patients. Perhaps it was a fluke, a bad day. I will say, the woman at the front desk was very nice and when I told her I was leaving, she was deeply apologetic. If I could rate her customer service, I would give her five stars. Lexington Family Chiropractic was my first experience with a chiropractor ever. I ended up seeing another chiropractor and my experience there was much better and far more professional. After going to Lexington Family Chiropractic, I thought perhaps that the lack of professionalism was just the industry standard. I'm glad that this turned out not to be the case. I can't speak to the proficiency of the adjustments or the chiropractic care itself, as I was never adjusted at this office. This was my experience with Lexington Family Chiropractic. Obviously, others have had wonderful experiences, so I do hope that my experience was just a fluke and that other new patients are handled more respectfully.

Lexington Family Chiropractic is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I stepped into this facility I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I previously suffered from lower back pain that was so severe I could hardly sit down, close my car door, or put on my clothes and shoes without assistance. I assumed that my pain would subside over time, but Dr. Gallentine informed me that I had both a pinched and compressed nerve in my lower back region. I knew that the pain I was enduring was far more serious than I had anticipated. Although I am a medical student and have some experience in reading X-rays, Dr. G took the time to explain the images of my X-rays to both my mother and me. Not only did he reassure me that he could help relieve the continuous pain I was experiencing, but he also made a personal call to see how I was doing later that evening. Now that several weeks have passed my pain is completely gone! Dr. Gallentine and his staff are dedicated to their patients’ needs and well-being. Health education is also another vital component of Lexington Family Chiropractic. While you are waiting to be seen you will have the opportunity to learn about Dr. Gallentine’s love for sharks, how to sit properly in the workplace, and other recommendations to take better care of your spine. Not to mention, you will feel right at home with the variety of snacks and refreshments available in the waiting area. I have also had the privilege to be pampered with several massages at the Eagle Creek Massage division, which is located directly upstairs. With this integration of both chiropractic spinal adjustments and massage therapy you will be able to receive the utmost treatment that will address any and all of your needs. Whether you suffering from back or neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, carpal tunnel, or headaches, Dr. G will do all he can to make sure that you don't have to live with the pain! If your a newbie and looking for chiropracter but unsure of what your options are financial and time wise...I would look somewhere else. Went for my first time to any chiropractic office for relief. Office staff was extremely nice. But when it came time for the adjustment the doctor didn't do one because i would not agree to a $400 4 week plan on the spot. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME...HOW COULD I AGREE TO THAT... I was overwhelmed by the entire process and was needing time to research options. But I still expected to get relief...the whole reason I went. If I had received relief I would have returned regularly but all I feel now is cheated out of money (charged for exam and xrays) and time with no results. Extremely disappointed and I will be looking for another chiropracter.

When we walked into Lexington Family Chiropractic yesterday we didn't really know what to expect, but what we got was out of this world care, compassion and service!!!!! My husband pulled his back picking up our 30 pound 16 month old last Thursday and has been in a lot of pain and we have tried several types of home therapy options before coming here to no avail. Well, they took xrays, did some therapy and by the time we left an hour and half later, my husbands pain level went from a 10 down to about a 4...WAY TO GO GUYS!!!!! The most thoughtfulness feature of their service, was last night I realized I had a missed call, so I checked my voicemail and it was Dr. Gallentine calling to see how my husband was doing, talk about way above and beyond excellence!!!!! I cant wait to refer everyone I know to Lexington Family Chiropractic! We definately will be bringing our children for some adjustments very soon! See you guys at our next visit!!!!! Dr. Heath Gallentine and his staff are the best in town I came in there with major lower back and leg pain he found the problem after A few X-rays got in one of his rooms and fixed my spine right up! His office staff is extremely friendly (cookies/drinks always available!), and very competent and efficient. An easy-to-reach location and plenty of parking completes the picture.
