It's always a pleasant experience when I go in to American Chiropractic. The doctors are wonderful, the staff is fantastic, and everyone is super friendly. The entire process for me has been a great one. My lower back pain has been lessened greatly. I got really lucky when I stumbled upon the American Chiropractic office on Bardstown Rd.

the worst chiropractic in the world, I went worse than I was, they mismatched some disk, they were the worst days of my life I swear. I do not recommend them, and always be very careful so that the same does not happen to them.

I have had chiropractic care for years, but because of work, my family and I have to relocate frequently. Out of all the offices I have visited, this office is the the best. The office staff is friendly, accommodating, and fun. They seem to enjoy their patients. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Besides taking of care of alignment problems, they have relieved some of the arthritis pain. I would recommend these doctors and this office to anyone needing chiropractic care. These doctors really know what's going on.

I have always had back pain, but a few years ago I had developed sciatica, never experienced that kind of pain. It lasted for 11 weeks, and was total chaos. In November of last year I noticed excruciating lower back pack pain on my right side nothing I did helped the pain, so I called American Chiropractic on Bardstown Road and I have significant improvement in my mobility. Dr. Jacques and Dr. Thaker are AWESOME!!!! Every employee there cares about how you feel and treat you like family. If you are skeptical or scared there is no reason to be, it does take time for optimal results but keeping your appointments are a must. Thank you American Chiropractic I FEEL GREAT. Pain free! I am very pleased to be able to say I have avoided medications that would alter my ability to fuction properly on my job. Needless to say, the same drugs would prevent me from being a fully functional parent to my very active 4 year old. I enjoy the thought of correcting my problems rather than masking them with a temporary oral med. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. You will not regret trying out the alternative approach.

The doctors are great, no worries there. The staff that runs the every day business of the office is where my bad experience happened. They do all their book keeping by hand, no computers. My husband and I had been patients for over a year. I went in for a visit one day and my husband hoped to get an adjustment as well. It took them about 10-15 minutes to find my husband's chart. It turned out that we had fallen behind on some payments because the employee they had working for them didn't communicate what we owed. Someone came out and said my husband owed $600 and I owed $100. I knew my account was incorrect so after she redid the math twice, she said I owed $15... okay, progress. Then she rechecked my husband's account several times and we finally settled on him owing $400. All while this was going on, she was never apologetic for the miscommunication about payments or that the process was so inefficient. She also refused to work out a payment plan for us; she denied treatment unless we paid at least half that day. Please keep in mind, during all this time, we NEVER received a bill from them (they only started sending bills recently). This was also done out front where other patients could hear/see. The employee we were speaking with was anything but pleasant and did not take responsibility for the establishment's employees and the mistakes they had made in the process. I spoke with one of the doctors about our experience and told him that we would only come back if she apologized. He was apologetic; however, he was not the issue. We are uncomfortable with an office that does their book keeping by hand anyway, if she wasn't going to admit she had mishandled the situation, then why should we come back? He said he would pass on the information; sadly, she did not call to apologize. I really hoped she would apologize because we do appreciate Dr. Pisani. The drive was about 20 minutes from our home so we will simply move on and find a new chiropractor.

I think this office does a GREAT Job. Just a few examples - My first visit, we went though many things, and did a preliminary evaluation of my symptoms. The next time, we went over those findings and then after further investigation found that this type of care would benefit me. In other words, it was NOT just a set down, take some money, and lets get things done and get you out of the door! I feel that they are very polite, caring and only after my well being. They even have a mandatory "Health and Wellness" class that everyone should take. It is very good information! Their staff is very caring and considerate. I checked them out on the BBB, and they are in good standing with an A+. This is my second time giving chiropractic care a try, I have had bad experiences in the past with other doctors and I am glad to say I now have had a good experience that I feel will continue and get better!

I would recommend this place to anyone. I was referred by a friend and it was the greatest decision I ever made. I didn't realize how much stress I was putting on my back until I felt my right leg go numb one day. I went into their office for a free consultation. Then, I came back to take x-rays, and after asking me about my pain, they created a treatment plan to see me twice a week. As my back got better, I started coming less, and now I just go once every 2 weeks. I look forward to coming every single time. Kenzie always greets me with a smile, Lizzie does magic with her back massages, and Dr. Schroering gives me an adjustment to help my back heal. I leave happy every single time. American chiropractic isn't the first time I've been to a chiropractor but it is the first time my eyes were open to the endless benefits of chiropractic care. It is a natural way of healing your body and you actually experience results!!! Two years ago I injured my neck and my right hip as well. I started coming here a year ago and just after a couple visits I started to feel lighter and able to move better! BUT what I learn that's most beneficial is that it's easier to stay well than get well. I continually go every 2 weeks simply to get adjusted. Any joint problems, pain or discomfort you feel please let your chiropractor know!! they are a well of knowledge & ready to give it to you. Special shout out to DR. LEONARD she is one of the most caring, friendliest and genuine people I've met in a long time. Because of her and the results from chiropractic care, my whole family goes there...even my Dad who was very stubborn! lol

Many people underestimate chiropractic care. For the longest time, I was one of them. I was timid coming to see a chiropractor but knew I had put off some problems for far too long. Over the years my lower back, calves, and feet especially had gradually become more and more painful. Other doctors weren't able to help me and recommended surgery. In December, I sustained a head and back injury which only furthered my health issues. I finally decided to try to get help in any way I could before resorting to self-medication or surgery. I couldn't believe what all the chiropractors at A.C. were able to do for me! It's only been a couple weeks but I already have seen astounding results. The accident affected my hearing which I never thought I would get back. I casually mentioned this to Ms. Leonard at A.C. and she swiftly adjusted my ear. Suddenly my hearing came back all at once. It was such an amazing experience, I couldn't help but cry for joy and hug her! She gave me hope that my hearing can come back when other doctor's had insisted it could not. Not only this but she worked on a problem I had thought everyone had - TMJ. My jaw has never opened fully and now I can enjoy pleasant yawns daily without pain. Ms Leonard also helped me figure out my main problem - I don't walk like most people do. She has been helping me with the pain of walking on the outside of my feet and helping me train to have a healthy gait. I cannot thank the team at American Chiropractic enough! They are helping me to live a happier, healthier life with each visit. I highly recommend visiting them to help with your ailments as well :)

The doctors are great, but if you're uncomfortable with discrimination - don't go. Silence is tantamount to acquiescence. Failure to address blatant racism from staff is unfortunate. Although, I should've realized that all the five star reviews are probably white people.
