I see Dr DeArmond and I love how thorough he is with each visit, not just the first! Ask questions; he is very open and honest. Self analysis can be hard but the more info you provide (symptoms, changes, etc) the better he can help. He's got numerous tools and methods at his disposal in order to find what works best for you.

I am a patient of Dr. Peterman and have been for about 2 years now. When I moved to Johnson County from the Northland, I needed a new chiropractor and am a big fan of the Activator method that she uses. Dr. Peterman is very personable and takes great care to address whatever pain or issues you are having and goes above and beyond to do so, I would recommend her to anyone dealing with back or other issues. If I could give them six stars I would! I went in with some back pain I just couldn't shake. It was debilitating. I had a very hard time finding a position to stand/sit in that didn't hurt. I was hit by a truck on my motorcycle in June of 2017. Unfamiliar with the area and needing some help getting back to normal I searched the web. Dr. Balderston had great reviews & was willing to take a new patient, so I went. The level of care & concern for you the patient is first. From reception to release I was treated like I mattered. Dr. Balderston did not do unnecessary testing to pad his income, never caused unnecessary pain, and PAYS ATTENTION to you to find the best path to renewal. Very reasonable rates, no extra visits or pressure to keep coming after you are well and super friendly and professional!! Highly recommended !! Achilles tendonitis and 'tennis elbow' - gone. I saw Dr. Balderston because of the severe pain in both my achilles and my forearm. The treatment worked, and I was able to reduce the amount of time that I took anti-inflammatory medication. The Graston method that Dr. Balderston used has been successful in keeping that pain away for over two years. Plus, the office staff are helpful and courteous, as is Dr. Balderston.

It is the first time I ever saw a Chiropractor. I saw Dr. Gabel. He did a wonderful job of explaining everything that was wrong with my spine (lower back pain). Literally, 1 day after seeing him I was playing sports and exercising again. Before I went in I couldn't even touch my toes, but he pop everything back into place and the best part is that it was painless. I had a very little amount of sourness for maybe 2 hours after seeing him, but it faded away quickly. I'm referring EVERYONE here that ever complains to me about body pain.

Balderston is a blessing! After going to a different Shawnee chiro first who told me I'd need several treatments, insurance (looked like) was not going to cover it, and the word surgery was mentioned...I visited Balderston for a second opinion! He agreed what my problem was (nothing new to me), but he was truthful he could help me manage the discomfort I was having more recently, not totally heal it. And I learned it was a very common problem. Just reality of getting older. Office polite, engaging and welcoming to my son who sometimes just needs to come with me. Life of a mom!

I have been seeing Dr Balderston for over 2 years and highly recommend him for chiropractic care. Recently, I was on an extended out of state visit when I fell and severly sprained the ligaments around my right knee. After medical tests determined that the ligaments were not torn, I saw 'a local chiropractor for manipulations to help with the healing process. When I returned home, Dr Balderstone took extra time with me to review the situation and tenaciously read the notes from the chiropractor who assist me after the accident. After two treatments, I was amazed at the improvement of mobility in my knee! Other examples: I fell down the stairs and Dr Balderston's technique helped with the healing process of sore muscles and back pain. I started having headaches which are not part of my health history. I seeked Dr's care and once again was nursed back to perfect health. I have osteopenia, and have more issues with low back and hip pain, I see Dr Balderston on a maintenance schedule which keeps me healthy and relatively pain free. Dr Balderston is friendly and caring and not one time have I felt that he rushed through my appointment. His staff exuberates friendliness and always have time for a chat. My 5 star rating and the fact that I took time to write a review expresses my appreciation for his knowledge and expertise in chiropratic care. Dr. Mark Balderston is exceptional in his skills, honest enough not to over charge you, and personable to talk to. After going to another chiropractor that wanted me to sign a contract for over $5000 for a 2 month treatment I went to Dr. Balderston. He told me I had a less serious problem and if I was not better in 3 weeks that he could not help me. After several weeks of treatment at a fraction of the cost and some helpful stretches and exercises I am no longer needing his treatments. In every profession you have a few who rise to the top as the best of the best and Dr. Mark Balderston is one of them.

I went there for about 6 weeks, and my issue was never resolved. I also never understood how their fees are setup. I paid a different amount 2 or 3 different times for getting the same service. The plus side is that they are cheaper if you do cash. My chiropractor swayed from doing any type of x rays versus some other chiropractors who don't even see you without an x ray. They definitely do things differently here. The most I got out of my sessions was knowledge related to stretching, mobility, etc. I also felt like they rushed me every time I was with a doctor. Lastly, expect to visit them 2-3 times a week if you choose this clinic.

I’ve seen Balderston since college. I haven’t been in several years. My last visit was after a car accident messed my neck up. Most recently I started having back issues. I could barely walk in to his office and within just a few short minutes I was walking with much less pain. After the second visit I was near 75% (mind you I was maybe at 10% walking in the door). Save your money and go somewhere else! I scheduled an appointment here in hopes I would find a good chiropractor that I could use for my occasional back pain. I've been to multiple chiropractors over the years and was so disappointed after my visit. First of all the equipment at the facility is outdated. I paid over $100 dollars and got no relief on my pain. I didn't even get my neck/lower back adjusted. Anything you get here you will be charged extra for it. I was given a lecture on how I should work on my poor posture, etc. Balderston told me I most likely had a pinched nerve which was no surprise given my symptoms. Wanted to see me the next day, then the next week for reoccurring appointments. I think I'll save my money and use it towards a massage instead given the poor adjustment I got here.

In my third trimester I had back pain so bad that I could barely stand. Tim is a miracle worker, just 5 minutes with him and I could make it through the week. You can tell that he knows what he's doing. Also very reasonably priced and easy to make appointments
