I really liked the service I got here until it came to the end, when I was better and didn't need to go there anymore. I started a maintenance program only because it was recommended by Dr. Woodle just to keep me coming in (monthly visits $37/month), then I found out I had 10 visits left for the year through my insurance company, and decided to go that route. Wow, what a mistake. They wanted payment from BOTH! (UHC and the maintenance program). They were double dipping and I wasnt' even seeing the doctor the two months they were billing me for.... I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. Melissa, in the billing department does NOT have any compassion whatsoever for patient's if you don't agree with any charges. The rest of the staff was very nice and had great customer service skills. While going there, all you see is "refer someone, refer someone, you get prizes, etc. but then when you are finished with their care and don't need to go anymore, its awful. 5-18-18

I saw Dr. Woodle for years and eventually switched to Dr. Martin due to my scheduling needs. Dr. Martin worked with me for 4 months on fertility-related acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments. He was very thorough and explained clearly why he was using various points and the benefits of certain other complementary treatments. I also saw him for treatment for a motor vehicle accident early on in my pregnancy and was wonderful in addressing my specific needs related to the accident. I have continued to see him through my pregnancy and have recommended him to friends. I'll be taking my newborn to him and continuing my own treatment with him for my pregnancy and beyond.

I'm torn on my experience. I am grateful for all of the work and help in feeling better. It took time for the ailment to happen and it will take time for it to heal. Plus, the ability to have physical therapy immediately after my adjustment and in the same space is very appreciated. Seth does a great job of explaining the exercises, making sure that they are done correctly, and documenting what is done each visit. He is patient and adjusts movements and exercises to the ability that I have that particular day. What has frustrated me is the number of times the doctor has been late and the length of time that I am in the office. In a two week period, four of six appointments were 15 to 40 minutes late to start. I would understand a little more if these appointments were later in the day and a late patient had pushed the schedule, but these were appointments between 7:45 and 10 am.

Dr. Sallee is amazing. He's kind, knowledgable, and thorough. Unfortunately, due to administration/billing, I would never return to this office. Hence, my two stars. I would give zero starts if it were based on administration alone. Be aware that when you go to this office initially, they will write up a treatment plan that includes your insurance coverage. They will tell you they contacted your insurance company and will go over billing with you. Don't expect this to be accurate by any means. I quit going to this location after several months due to a job change/proximity. A couple months later I received an extremely high bill starting that I had a $30 co-pay per visit that was not being collected the entire time I had agreed to 3x/week care. I definitely would NOT have agreed to therapy that often, had I not been mislead about my treatment agreement/insurance in the first place. The part that bothers me the most is they refused to help me or resolve the issue In any way and never even apologized for the poor communication/errors on their end. I agreed to a payment plan of three payments over three months. The first month they charged my card for half the amount rather than a third, and the second month they left me a rude voicemail saying they would send me to collections if I didn't pay the remaining balance by the end of that day. Worst customer service experience I can recall. They clearly are more concerned about money than they are patient satisfaction/retention.

The office and staff are very nice and Dr. Fanders was courteous and professional. Unfortunately they were not able to address a moderate lower back pain issue over a period of two months and actually pinched a nerve in my upper back leading to sleepless nights and pain for weeks. On top of this, the billing was also less than straightforward. They cannot tell you what insurance will cover and their statements do not show what they submit to insurance. Upon inquiring with my insurance, I found they were billing $55 for a 5 minute adjustment and $80 for a 15 minute stretching "therapy" session. Even though I always paid right after service, my amount due each time varied widely from $16.48 to $91.56 and I later found my insurance covered very little. They also would not remove the charge from the adjustment that caused more pain.

I was in a car wreck, and family practice dr. said I had a sprained hip, but nothing I could except take pain pills. I came here for a second opinion. A few months later, and I was pain free after a little therapy and some adjustments. You only get one body. Take care of it.

We love Advanced Sports & Family Chiropractic! Dr. Drew and Dr. Woodle are fantastic to work with. They have excellent bedside manner, but above all else they truly focus on whole body wellness. They work closely with you to develop the right plan that works best for you, and they have physical therapists right on site to use as needed. All their office and therapy staff are amazing! Every time I come in everything is easy-peasy from reception to billing. Their wait time is usually 10 minutes or less, and I’ve been able to get same day appointments in a crunch. They have early and weekend hours so my work/life balance is barely impacted. My 7 yr old son and I have been treated here for nearly a year and cannot say enough great things about the progress we have made.

After reading that Hiatal Hernias can be successfully treated by Chiroprators, I searched for a provider in my area that had expertise in this therapy. I had been suffering from GERD which caused chronic insomnia for about a year before being diagnosed in 2017. I was treated with different regimens of drugs without much relief. In January of 2019, I made an appointment with Dr. Sallee and started on an intense schedule of spinal adjustments and alignment combined with diaphragm therpy. By April, I was mostly symptom free and am living a normal life but still maintain monthly treatments to keep it at bay. .

I chose Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture because my grandpa goes there and it was the best decision. They genuinely care about my progress and me in general. They got to know me on a personal level and that was really nice. They take the time to figure out what is wrong and make the correct decisions on how to treat you. I see Dr. Martin and I couldn't be happier. He is very good at what he does and he is extremely friendly and comforting. When I'm done with my adjustments I go and do physical therapy with Seth, the rehab director, and it is the best experience I've ever had with physical therapy. He makes sure that I'm not doing anything to upset my injury but that I'm still improving. He is super friendly and takes an interest in my well being inside and outside of the office. I have never been a fan of chiropractic work, but this facility is fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! I couldn't be happier with my treatment or my doctors!

I first started going Advanced Sports & Family Chiropractic + Acupuncture in July of 2014 with a curve in my spine a bulging disc and a pinched nerve so severe I was constantly in pain every step I took it felt like my nerves were on fire from the inside, The first time I walked in the door I was treated like family ! I started with an X-ray and found out that I have degenerative disc disease in my lower lumbar between L4 and L5 and that is where my nerve was pinched. After finding that out we started with adjustments and disc decompression and stem but later moved on to TENS therapy. As of January 1 2015 I was allowed to stretch more intensely. Today is 02/14/2015 I just got a pedometer I walked over 5000 steps with no pain at 2.5 mph. I am very happy with my choice in going here and I will continue to tell everyone how pleased I am with All of your wonderful Doctors and staff that helped on my journey to a pain free life...I look forward to my next appointment ! I have been on a maintenance plan for the last couple of years had it not been for the maintenance plan I would be back in pain I've had several smaller pinched nerves as well but because I keep going back for maintenance It gets stopped before it gets any worse...

While seeing them for bulging discs I saw each of the Drs for adjustments, not just my primary doctor. This is a unique process that proved very success for me. I'm truly not sure where to start with this place. I live out in the middle of nowhere by Harrisonville, MO and I have a worst migraine in the world. So, I start calling around to places to see if they're open, because it's a Saturday. It's almost impossible to find a chiropractor on the weekends. So, this place was very last. I called, and talked to Alex on the phone. She was super nice and professional. She even checked closer locations for me for a time slot, but they had nothing open in those locations. I was willing to drive anywhere to get this migraine to go away, so told her I would drive to Overland Park. When I got there I was greeted my Savannah. She was also super sweet, and professional.She had me fill out the typical new patient information. Once I was finished with that...she asked me if I'd like to go to this private room in the back that was dark, and no music. I was like HECK YES! So, she brought me back there, and actually took a small nap till Dr. Beck came and got me. Dr. Beck was also super amazing. If I just pop into chiropractors they just adjust my main reason coming in, but not with Beck! He adjusted my lower and upper back. He was super nice, and made my migraine slowly go away. Once I was finished I thanked Savannah so much again, and how I appreciated all of them for taking care of me. It was truly amazing on the customer service I have gotten today. For my emergency migraines or when I hurt my rotator cuff playing volleyball, I will surely go back to these guys. I think these employees deserve treat from the owner. I sell cars, and it's hard to find customer service like this. Also, Savannah gave me a free ICE PACK! BOOM!!!

I've been going to this office for almost two years. I've had extreme pain in my feet for about ten years. I've done cortisone shots in the past, seen a podiatrist, and bought inserts for my shoes. I came to this office to try acupuncture for my feet. It has been extremely successful in relieving the pain. 12 years ago I was told by my doctor that my hip pain was due to one leg being shorter than the other & that I would simply have to live with it. I was skeptical of chiropractors, but was driven to giving it a whirl as my pain became constant & increasing. ASFCA did something simple that no medical doctor ever tried - they took x-rays of everything. And they measured. My legs are the same length. My hips are fine. My problem is scoliosis, untreated in childhood, and a lifetime of high impact activity compressing the curvature. I'm only a couple of weeks into a 3 month treatment schedule, but I am already experiencing short periods of painlessness. I am optimistic that eventually I will pain-free most of the time & be able to take up running again.

I'm quite happy that I found this place! I must say I was a skeptic when it came to chiropractors and my previous experience at a different place was not great. I recently developed some foot pain as a result of my cuboid not being in the right place, kind of jammed after a high impact workout session and wrong shoes combination.. so decided to give chiropractice another shot. My experience with Dr Sanders has been great and I immediately started noticing improvements with the sessions. He took the time to explain what was going on with my feet and worked with me to give me recommendations and try different things I could do on my own to improve it: stretching and therapy exercises, new shoes, holding off from running for the first few weeks. I really appreciate that his goal has always been to get me back to my usual activities and slowly decrease the number/frequency of visits required. Since my initial month we've been working with a couple other issues from a more recent fall (sprained ankle and hurt thumb finger) and the progress has been noticeable on those, and I'm glad I am getting the help to speed up the healing for those. Highly recommend this place and the team, particulary Dr Fanders, for an approach of Chiropractice that I am definitely on board with.

I took my 4 month son to see Dr. Woodle because he was having so much trouble getting to sleep at night. Dr. Woodle made his adjustments at our first appointment and that night, my son slept for 6 hours straight. I couldn't believe it! The most he had ever really gone was three hours. This place is fantastic! I started seeing Dr. Woodle and Dr. Beck in December 2017 for sciatica and fertility. I left the practice in March 2018 due to an out of state move. My sciatica improved tremendously in such a short period of time. Not constantly having pain was like a dream come true after living with sciatica for more than a year. The front desk staff is always warm and professional. The doctors use top-notch technology, are extremely knowledgeable, and do a great job of optimizing your treatment plan along the way. They are also great at educating you on your health issues and their treatment strategies. They truly care about you getting better and living pain free. Dr. Woodle also worked with me to find another doctor in the state to which I moved. I highly recommend Dr. Woodle and his team.

Only giving two stars because I think I just had the bad luck of getting assigned to the awkward/bad at being a salesman chiropractor. This place is definitely all about sales and not the patient. Although the adjustment was great, he had trouble communicating properly. Right away he told me he needed to do x-rays. He quickly go over the price of these, but right when we got to the room to do the x-rays he threw another paper at me for another $22 (some sort of ad on cost for the X-rays for them to get sent to radiology.) I was already in the room so I went ahead and signed it. Finally we got back to his office for him to look at the pictures, and he reminds me it's $42 for the adjustment. This was the last price tag I was given. When I got to the counter to check out , I was surprised when my total was 266 instead of 200 (I've been tracking the price in my head) . He completely forgot to mention there was a $60 "exam fee". What exam? All he did was look at my pictures ( which the $22 was for the radiologist to read then anyway). I feel I was just a young and gullible easy sell. I am so disappointed. I feel like everything would have been a lot better if he was transparent up front about the cost instead of telling me the price as we went through the process. Kind of awkward to stop something if you already started right? I just needed transparency. I'm a broke ollege kid with not a lot of money and severe back issues. And this visit took all the money in my wallet.

This clinic and management team have a very aggressive sales tactics to the point that it becomes utterly distasteful. They justify it by claiming it is all for the sake of the patient. If you work for this chiropractor, be prepared to memorize and perform a 3-page script and even a 20-page long presentation. These scripts are meant to be performed to each patient. They are very stale, impersonal, and even encourage you to lie. One example I can give is their procedure for ‘recalling’ patients (Box of Negativity). You are required to email/Call patients that have stopped receiving care every 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months. Not only that, but after each email you are required to follow up with a phone call after 1 week. This isn’t including the initial 3 calls the patient receives when they first ‘quit’ their care. Mailers are sent often as well if an address is on file. If this isn’t abuse of contact information, I don’t know what is? This management company is pushy, over-the-top, and treat patients as cash flow rather than respectable people. Their information is stale, far-fetched, and many times morally questionable. If you are looking for employment or even care from this clinic, I would advise otherwise. Just ask the revolving door of past employees they have burned over the years. There are plenty of them, they just care about the bottom dollar. I have the proof, people and stories that will prove this.
