The staff and doctors here are amazing. My almost 89 year old Grandma was having severe lower back pain. I see Dr. Colt and I took the day off work and Katie and Dr. Colt agreed to see her to do x-rays and adjustment the same day, which is out of the norm.
Anyway, Dr. Colt was able to review her x-rays with us and do an adjustment that day. After the appointment he took more time to review the x-rays and noticed her aorta in her stomach looked distorted. When she came back for her second adjustment 2 days later he recommended she see a vascular doctor for a routine check. Grandma asked if he’d call and help her make an appointment and he did just that. Again above and beyond. In addition to all this, my grandma was supposed to bring some paperwork and a CD of her x-rays with her but she forgot them at the office. Again, the office continued to exceed expectations and Katie brought them to her house so she didn’t have to go to the office to pick them up.
My grandma went to the vascular doctor yesterday and they found an apple sized aortic aneurism. Surgery will be scheduled to remove it.
The doctors here treat more than just chiropractic needs, but all needs. Dr. Colt’s imaging knowledge and training allowed him to see this abnormality and properly referred her to the right doctor. I cannot say I would have the same confidence in any other office. Dr. Colt, in our eyes, is truly a hero. Thank you Dr. Colt and Katie for your intelligence and compassion. It means the world to our family. <3
