I can remember the first day I got up to walk and couldn't. I did not know what my next steps where going to be as far as getting something done to my back until a dear friend reached out to Greg, and told him about his experience at Vero Chiropractic there Greg, referred me to Vero. I am glad I was able to give Vero Chiropractic a chance to see if they could help me straighten out my back issues. Without them I wouldn't be where I am at today. I am not 100% better, but know I am on the road to recovery. The best part about going to Vero is the people. The team there really treats you like family and I look forward to seeing them every week. I will say that the cost of treatment isn't small but that is because they stress the importance of repetition and small adjustments to make a big transition to your overall health. I'm about 4 months in and have about 4 months left of treatment. So far the pain in my lower back has improved quite a bit and I'm looking forward to seeing it continue to improve!

Vero Chiropractic gave me my life back! As a busy mom of 6, including twins and triplets, chronic and acute cervical and lumbar pain kept me from enjoying even basic activities. We ran into the Vero team at the Iowa Fairgrounds. It was literally one of those divine interactions finding them that day. We were guided to come in and have the initial consultation. At the time we have been seeing a wonderful Chiropractor in Indianola who did the normal "pop and crack" adjustments. I have been seeing a Chiropractor off and on all my life. I had a bad whiplash when I was a child and found that Chiropractic care saved my neck and life. We signed up and began the treatments. Since my neck was in need of some serious work I began with three treatments for week one. After the first treatment I felt different. I'd say one of my biggest reading for sticking with them and the program is they make it easy with their appointment app - "Sked". My day to day can change on short notice. This causes the need for rescheduling appointments sometimes more than once a day or for a different day altogether. If I had to call in everytime this relationship wouldn't have worked. After seeing the mri and xrays of my spine over the last 8 months, I am glad I started chiropractic care with Vero. Maybe it’s not too late to get “straightened out”, so to speak! A back injury in Nov 2019 led me to seek treatment for my back. An epidural injection gave me only limited relief. But, Chiropractic adjustments are making a noticeable difference. It is not a quick fix by any means; I am still having some uncomfortable days but the good days outweigh the bad. I am optimistic that continued care will continue to improve function and comfort levels. Give it a try!

I have suffered 5 concussions and went to so many different specialists and doctors with no relief. I had headaches and neck pain everyday, couldn’t sleep with a pillow, couldn’t wear anything on my head even my own glasses, couldn’t do everyday things without a lot of pain. I have always been a believer in chiropractic care, but wasn't seeing the results with it as I would have liked. I came to Vero hoping that I would find something different and I did! The approach is completely unlike any other experience I have had. I am sleeping better, have better range of motion, am sick less, have more energy, and am IN LESS PAIN. My sciatic nerve was to the point I would cry at the end of the day. Five weeks later, I am mostly pain free. It went from a 10 when I began to a 1 or 2 at most when it acts up! Being consistent with the appointments is crucial because each step is a building block to the next time you come in. The time and priority it takes is completely worth it and taking care of my spine here is one of the best decisions I have made for myself. It takes time to undo the damage that happened to your spine, but the results will come and I can't wait to see my next three progress reports and X-ray at the end! I have recommended this to so many people .

My experience at Vero started off ok, but don't be fooled by their sales tactics as they try to oversell customers into LTC (Long-Term-Care) plans! As you start completing their assessment, they ask you questions about your health, how you are feeling, what it would take to be your best you, etc. I answered these questions honestly and rationally, but they over-exaggerated my responses and acted as if I was there because I was in all of this pain, etc. The only reason I was at Vero was because I had interest in their chiropractic technique, as it was different than what I was used to...and they offered some co-workers and I a deal that I did not think could be passed up for our assessments. So, after all of my assessments were completed, I was asked to come back in to go over my results. Results included a nerve and muscular assessment of my spine as well as X-rays. Their recommendation? A 68 visit long term care plan, either paid up front OR paid in monthly installments. How could they even know that 68 visits was needed? (I am 34, active, and in pretty decent shape). Short answer, they don't. But they do say that they reassess 4 times throughout their LTC program and could reduce the number of visits from those reassessments. (I guess they could always ask to increase the number of visits or length of service too though!) And, they want you to schedule it ALL AT ONCE! So, in my case, they wanted to see me 3x week for 4 weeks. How can a person even know their schedule, for a month out like that with work and personal commitments, let alone trying to schedule out for a full year?!? They also claim that no contract is required. But wait, I have to sign my name when I sign up, AND I am agreeing to the FULL YEAR program at a reduced price. (Whether or not they want to call it a contract, anytime you have to sign your name agreeing to something, that is a contract). So, if I decide to pay monthly, lets say in $250 monthly installments, I may owe money if I decide to stop seeing them. This is because they price out your visits based on the entire amount recommended, in my case 68 visits. So if I only completed 12 visits the first month and decided to not do any more, I would owe for the full price of those 12 visits less the $250 monthly payment I already paid. Yes, there is insurance, but insurance only grants "x # of visits", then you have to resubmit and there is no guarantee that the insurance company is going to continue to grant visits. Now, does Vero do good work? Probably. Can they fix your body? Maybe. Are they up-front and honest with the customer? Well, they are if you know the right questions to ask, but in my opinion they try to scare you by telling you how poor your body is, regardless of how you feel because they base their decision off of their assessments, not necessarily you. Not to mention, I felt pressured by them to make a decision RIGHT AWAY! I wouldn't necessarily not recommend Vero, but I would say PROCEED WITH CAUTION! Ask questions, know what you are getting into and GET SECOND OPINION whenever possible!

I have severe diabilitating back pain. Nerve blocks epiderals botox injections trigger points. Nerve Muscle Pain Meds. Still there was pain. I couldnt walk work or live without pain. Been going to Vero for 2 months. I can stand longer. Work longer. Can clean my house. I know these are little things but they are things I couldnt do before. I still have pain that will take time to hopefully heal but I'm doing things I couldnt do before from the treatment at Vero. Cant wait to see what's going on with my back next year

It's a special thing to be greeted by name and to have people genuinely ask how you are and remember little details about you. You feel like a human, not a number. This review is way overdue. I had my 2nd evaluation this morning at Vero and I never thought I would ever see results THIS fast. The pain I had was undescribable to me and I thought there is no way Ever I'd get rid of it since I've been living this way (which I thought was normal) for almost 3 years. I had some popping in my right shoulder and serious discomfort from working hard at the gym. I've been ignoring it for way to long and thought this is it for me. The popping went away within a MONTH!!! I can rotate my arms all the way now AND my head without any more pain. 3 years of being miserable to no pain in ONE Month

For years I have had excruciating back pain. I got a burning sensation that ran along my spine if I tried to sit up straight. I couldn't walk longer than 10 min before my lower back felt like it was going to cave and pain would run down my legs. I couldn't enjoy the Iowa State Fair, walk the mall with my teenage daughter or walk our dog. That wasn't fair to my husband or daughter. I decided to go to Vero for treatment. I loved the fact that they weren't your traditional Chiropractor. I was a bit skeptical that a few clicks of an instrument would fix me. I started back in May of this year and I am ecstatic to say that last night we took our dog for a mile walk and I had ZERO pain. If it weren't getting dark I could have gone further. The burning sensation in my back? I still feel from time to time but nowhere near the constant agony I was in. It took years to get in the horrible shape I'm in and I know it won't be an overnight fix. They have though, surpassed all expectations. I love the doctors and staff. When you step into the office you are instantly being treated mentally and emotionally. They never fail to greet you by name and have positive music playing. You are in and out in 10 min or less. The best part is the docs care. They greet you by name and always seem to remember the last thing you told them. I love their heart and spirit. You can tell God resides with them and their business. Please do yourself a favor and consider making your home with them. Your body will thank you.

I knew I was in the right place the minute I walked in. We saw 3 smiling,beautiful, welcoming smiles. They welcomed us and we got to business. First assessment is FREE. Beat that! So it takes a little while. After that it's as fast as you make it. The rotating dr's are so on point that I've never had to wait more than five minutes? The beautiful smiles I was talking about earlier, they're incredibly smart and genuine as well. They answered every single question we had. We ended up going with their recommendations on care. That's cool too, because you can choose the care package you think best fits your situation. The ladies greet you by name and genuinely seem like they care. I honestly dont see businesses operate like vero. They're true to who they are and what they're about. To sum this up on what it's done for me, I sleep sounder, breathe better, completely curbed my headaches, allergies are better, list goes on. Posture is better. All in all, I would easily give them 10 stars. Oh and good coffee, water, and more smiles also comes with doing business with them. Thanks guys!!!!

Everyone at Vero is incredibly nice and welcoming. I went in skeptical, but committed. My sleep has improved a lot, my neck/shoulder pain has improved drastically, and my posture is significantly better. I compete in body building, bikini class, and always had to wear a shoe insert because the curve in my back made my hips offset slightly, which was noticeable in my back pose. I no longer have to wear that insert!!! So awesome to see improvements and some issues completely fixed in just a couple months.
