I was having nagging, troublesome back problems. I went into see Dr. Joe, and not only did he help me with treatment (the same day), but he also discussed my x-rays with me in detail and allowed me to document the x-rays for me own personal records (just in case I have any future issues). He was also willing to work within my means to make my visit affordable! Very caring and helpful!

In the past I have had intermittent tension headaches that became chronic at the beginning of this year. After just dealing with it I finally decided to see a chiropractor. I knew a couple of people who have had good results at Mass Ave Chiropractic, so decided to go there, plus the location is very convenient. I have suffered with lower back pain for the past 20 years and have been through all kinds of therapy and chiropractic treatments. I have never experienced anything like Dr. Kielur's approach. He is hands on and "over the top" accommodating to his patient's treatment plan. He is dedicated and committed to his patients in helping them feel better. His schedule is flexible and will come in early in the morning, after 5PM, and on weekends to get you on the path to feeling better. The atmosphere is also relaxing with "spa like" music and the lighting is a little dim to help you relax. I definitely recommend Dr. Kielur and Mass Ave Chiropractic for anyone who needs chiropractic care. You won't find another doctor who cares so much about helping you and willing to invest in top of the line equipment to make that happen.

Overpriced, lack of medical assessment beyond x-rays, unclear treatment plans/goals and diagnoses. If you want to pay 4-5x what you would at other practices for seemingly unlimited time on a variety of automated therapeutic tables, this is the place for you. If you want a thorough chiropractic experience, look elsewhere. Do be wary of business that do not post their prices online for things like initial assessment, etc! Personal health information and conversations on treatment options seem to often happen in an open setting amongst other patients. As health care worker myself, I cannot recommend this doctor's medical services and have received much more thorough, clear, and respectful treatment elsewhere. Edit to add: This provider did not process through my insurance or advise me that my insurance was/was not accepted after my initial visits or while my treatment plan/treatment costs were explained. Expect to pay $150/visit OOP or make sure ahead of time that your insurance will be accepted AND processed.

If you have back pain and nothing else has worked for you- this is what you need to try!!! If you like alternative treatments that don't involve drugs or surgery, this is for you. This isn't your average doctors office- the atmosphere, billing, hours and methods are all unique, but keep an open mind- it is very flexible for patients to help you follow the program and heal. Different than what you see with traditional physical therapy or chiropractic, but it has worked and made a world of difference for me! Really a great guy who genuinely wants to help people...so glad I came across this place!!

Went in with a 5-day headache; after a short treatment plan (about10 adjustments), my headaches have been significantly reduced. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. I have pretty good health insurance, which will cover chiropractic treatments. I let them know before treatments ever started, and gave them my card and all my information. Through each of the treatments, I kept asking them to submit to insurance, and I was told "we will next time" or "there's too much paperwork to do now." At the end of my treatments, they still hadn't submitted it, and I've ended up paying $1250 out of pocket. Ridiculous.

Joe is an amazing person and healer... I went in expecting a simple adjustment, in and out. What I got was so much better. He relaxed my body first with two massage machines that I laid on, hooked me up to a muscle stimulation machine and then adjusted me with so much precision. I felt so good after and that rarely happens for me while I'm on tour and trying different chiropractors constantly. It's the following day, and I still feel great. My chronic back pain was helped significantly from this session. I wish I lived in the area because he is truly a master at what he does and I would come in regularly! Thank you Joe. The benefit from seeing Dr. Joe at Mass Avenue Chiropractic, and his decompression treatment, is beyond words. For years I have endured bulging and ruptured discs in my neck. I received multiple injections which only temporarily helped. Physicians recommended surgery and spinal fusion. Treatment at Mass Avenue Chiropractic was pursued and the results so far have been incredible. No surgery and pain went from unbearable to barely noticeable.

Dr Keilur assessed my case thoroughly. He took X-rays and pointed out things that were relevant to my issues and then applied a course of action which included some hydrotherapy, cervical decompression, and muscle stimulation. I felt much better when I left. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very comfortable. The treatments were effective. Dr Keilur was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I would recommend Dr Keilur to anyone that is looking for an alternative for treatment for back and neck pain that doesn’t involve the use of painkillers or other drugs of that nature.
