I've been to a lot of different chiropractors and I definitely can say that I won't be looking for a new one after coming here. I've been a patient of Dr. Russell's for about 3 months and I love it here. Dr. Russell truly cares about his patients lives and strives to make you better. He has a good regimen set up for me that has given me results that I've been waiting to see for months and wasn't getting elsewhere. He even cares so much about your life outside of the office. I made a comment about diet changes, and he suggested a good diet plan for me to follow. I talked about how my credit isn't where I want it to be and he brought in some resources and numbers to call to help improve it. He goes out of his way when he doesn't have to. He's a good chiropractor and an even better person. I couldn't ask for more!

I have been going to Dr. Russell for the last 6 months for a multitude of things including migraines, TMJ pain, back issues, etc. I have chronic migraine where I get more than 20 a month and since seeing him they have been reduced in severity. Dr. Russell is one of the few people that has ever been able to help me with my TMJ pain. I am able to open my mouth more and am able to eat foods that I haven't been able to in ages. You have to put in the effort for the TMJ but it pays off in the end!

I came here by chance. I purchased a Groupon for massages. While I had seen another chiropractor in Schaumburg, I hadn't realized what I was missing out on. Dr. Russell has taken the time I needed to educate me on my issues without being preachy or salesman-like. He's helped the range of motion in my shoulders, the stiffness in my neck, and the sometimes-pain in my lower back. I feel stronger and more in control of my own body. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel like I would not be doing my part for the betterment of the world if I did not write one for Dr. Russell. I came to him broken, with 2 herniated discs, a rotator cuff injury and a variety of post-surgery injuries after a lifetime of abusing my body from sports, drumming, car accidents and whatnot. From the minute I met him, I knew he'd be the one. I found him through Groupon, believe it or not, after almost a decade long search to find a replacement for the chiropractor I had for almost as long. I had basically given up hope of ever finding someone who wasn't trying to sell me the latest gadget or miracle vitamin. I feel like I should send Groupon a thank you letter, too. I might. After my initial exam, x-rays and consultation, I received my first adjustment. I don't even care if you make fun of me, but I cried tears of joy because, for the first time in almost 8 months, I felt an immediate relief. I woke up the next day (again for the first time) without a headache. It was instant. I'm not saying that will happen to you, but it did for me. Who knows, it could for you, too. If you come across his Groupon, BUY IT. If you don't buy the Groupon, CALL HIM ANYWAY. Dr. Russell is kind, gentle, funny and doesn't care if he spends an extra 15 minutes explaining something you may not understand. I believe he's truly in it to help anyone and everyone he can.

Following a car accident in October of 2011, I spent almost a year in pain after my primary care doctor told me there was nothing they could do and I should learn to live with it. I met an associate of Dr. Russell at The Vitamin Shoppe and she suggested that I make an appointment. Within 3 sessions, the pain lessened and eventually alleviated all together. I've been going to Dr. Russell for about 2 months now due to some leg numbness and hip pressure associated with an issue in my lower back, and also two large Spurs on my vertibre at my lower neck that were causing issues throughout my neck, shoulders and into my arms. I can tell you that after being about 2 months into my 3 month therapy plan which has included a few adjustments a week along with therapy I'm feeling much better already. After my 3 month plan I will likely continue seeing Dr. Russell as I now see the benefits that Chiropractic therapy have.

11 tears ago when I thought that I was going to need back surgery for my sciatica I looked up a local chiro to try. Found Russell and decided to try him. He explained in simple terms what I needed to work on and lo and behold my back pain subsided. 11 years later, last fall, I had another back pinch. I contacted Brian and he bought me in for a free evaluation. We started on a plan of rehab where he uses flexion distraction to relieve the pressure on my disks, Short story is, I feel great again. I have recommended Brian to friends and they are also happy with the results he has provided. I have only had back issues but I know he treats other issues like TMJ, etc. Sure was a better option than surgery. :-) Thanks Brian.

I have been seeing Dr. Russell for over a year. He worked up a comprehensive plan to deal with my specific back and knee issues. If you follow up with the exercises at home and keep to the appointment schedule, I am sure you will have a good outcome. Never had a chiropractor who would adjust my knees also! Now am considered a maintenance patient and still plan to keep going regularly. Dr. Russell's manner is very considerate and thorough.

I suffer from chronic lower back pain in the L4 and L5 area where I have two discs that tend to press on some nerves. This wasn't my first time at a chiropractor's office, since I have been dealing with this issue since I sprained my lower back when I was 14 years old. When I started going to Dr. Russell, I could barely walk because I was in such excruciating pain. Pain that didn't go away no matter what I did, nothing could get rid of the pain and I'm not the type of person who wants to make heavy pain killers a part of my everyday life. I had a trip to Arizona coming up in a few months and I didn't want the pain to ruin it. I did a treatment plan with Dr. Russell and it was no easy treatment because I had to be committed 100%. After a month, I didn't see improvement, but that didn't mean it wasn't working. I learned that you have to be patient with chiropractic care and you have to do your exercises. I knew Dr. Russell's attentive style and my hard work and dedication had to lead to pain free days. I can't tell you how long it took to feel major improvement (less than a year), but I can say one thing for sure, that trip to Arizona was fantastic. I only had minimal pain and I was able to dance all night at my best friend's wedding. I've been seeing Dr. Russell for over 2 years now. I am currently in the maintenance stage and I haven't had any major pain since I completed my treatment. Today, I live a Normal life without Pain the way it should be! Thanks Dr. Russell!

Dr. Russell was completely unprofessional and would seem unstable. I went in for my 4th laser treatment and as I had done the previous 2x I went in the room turned on the machine and started taking my shoes off. Dr. Russell started yelling at me to sit down and how dare I turn on his machine! This is what he told me to do the past 2 times, so I was very confused and scared frankly as to him berating me in front of his other client. I apologized and went to sit in the waiting room. I was debating running out of there, he comes and screams at me some more. I told him he needed to stop yelling at me and then he told me to leave his office. This guy is clearly off his meds. EDITED after reply: There is no way I would touch your machine, nor know how to turn it on, without you telling me. You are bald face lying. The way you were screaming at me, scared me to the point of shaking, and I was unable to drive for 10 minutes while I took some deep breaths and processed your verbal assault. I remember I locked the doors, because I was worried you were going to follow me out. Regardless, whether I'm lying and was "unsafely operating" your machine, by turning it on or not, you did not handle the situation appropriately and was borderline abusive. How dare you treat me like that. Peace brother, I wish you the kindness and compassion you didn't show me.

I received excellent care at all my appointments at the Russell Health & Wellness Center. I was referred by my dentist for TMJ-like symptoms. After taking an extensive health history, interviewing & assessing me Dr. Russell identified the origin of the pain then relieved the symptoms immediately with extreme care and professional expertise based on years of practice, and imparted knowledge I needed to have regarding the rehabilitation of my spine. Since treating my TMJ-like symptoms I decided to have Dr. Russell also address a pain in my lower back which is now gone thanks to the rehabilitation. I return on a regular basis to maintain the health of my spine. Some real plus-es to Dr. Russell's practice are that he is a friendly, personable, and funny guy; the office is clean & pet-friendly; there is always a good radio station tuned in; and finally, Dr. Russell shares all the most up-to-date information he learns about chiropractic care and functional health with his patients because he is a truly caring person.

I have been a patient of Dr Russell for many years. He treated me after a couple of car accidents as well as for some chronic musculoskeletal issues. I found his treatments plans to be comprehensive, yet not overkill (no adjusting just for the sake of adjusting). His functional medicine knowledge has also helped me with some dietary changes that have improved a thyroid related issue. As a side benefit, my asthma greatly improved when I was adjusted on a regular basis to the point where I rarely have to medicate. Dr Russell cares about the total patient and I'm happy I found this practice.

I would highly recommend Dr. Russell for any chiropractic need! I started seeing him over three years ago for some very unusual symptoms. Dr. Russell was quick to listen and patient with me as we discussed possible solutions to the problems that I was having. I found Dr. Russel by chance, and I am very glad I did. Since I have gone to him, the pain I had in my knee and ankle has disappeared and that wasn't even why I went in! I wanted to find ways to strengthen and help my injured lower back, to keep from needing surgery and taking pain meds. I had had PT elsewhere previously and was unimpressed. I learned so many helpful techniques from Dr. Russell that I can use to keep me strong, flexible, and free of meds! I also have suffered from debilitating migraines for over 40 years. He has (thank goodness!) helped to significantly reduce the length and severity of the migraine episodes, something I thought impossible. I have never worked with a health care professional that listened as well as he does. I also love that he works from the ground up checking to see if you could benefit from orthotics and making sure they are "absolutely perfect".
