I have been treated at 3 different chiropractic facilities within the last 10 years and I have to say I have received the best and most thorough care at Crosstown Chiropractic. I have chronic back and neck pain and with each visit, Dr. Amy has spent a considerable amount of time treating me. I used to be a patient at another clinic in the city and appointments lasted for only 15 minutes tops. I didn't feel that the doctor really cared to help my condition improve. At Crosstown, you can tell they love what they do, they care about their patients, and they are determined to help their patients get better. The facility itself is nice. It is easy to schedule an appointment. I myself don't have any kids but for parents with younger ones, it is also kid friendly. After each appointment, I feel like a million bucks. p.s. I don't do yelp reviews and this is my first google review. That's how much I appreciate them!

I was having lower back pain that starting about a month ago. I went to Crosstown Chiropractic a week after it started. At the start of treatment, I made it clear that I didn't want to receive adjustment particularly any quick movement. I went for two treatments and everything was fine, light massage, heat, and electrostimulation to relax muscle basically what I was thinking. The third session started off the same but at the end of the third treatment I was adjusted. Moments after the adjustment, I had numbness down the back of my right leg to the foot. I have never had pain down my leg and I have never had numbness of any kind. It is now 4 weeks later and I still have numbness in my foot that is unchanged and some mild pain lingers also. Ultimately, I understand that chiropractors believe in adjustment but I clearly indicated that I didn't not want this treatment. Doctors are obligated to listen to their patients not follow what they think will work. I received adjustment which I thought was going to be a stretch not quick movement and the adjustment made my symptoms worse. I knew adjustment would not help and had the potential to cause damage. Hopefully, they will not permanent damage but their "treatment" injuried me more severely. Anyway they are nice people and I don't think in anyway they meant to cause harm but I must warn people against going here based on my experience. If you have any kind of disc issue adjustment can definitely make the problem worse, please read about it before going here.

They truly care about your well being not only at your appointment, but when you go home as well. The massage therapists are also excellent. I went to Dr. Amy when I was limping because of back pain. I tried so many medications and physical therapy and decided to give a chiropractor a shot because why not. Within 2 visits my pain decreased significantly. I've been going to Dr. Amy for almost 2 years and my adjustments are minimal now. I currently visit the office for massages which are amazing and covered by most insurances. I highly recommend not only because it helped my pain when I had no hope but also because of the amazing doctors and massage therapists. They're all amazing!

Crosstown is simply the best! I never write reviews but they deserve it. They have two amazing doctors on staff and in-house massage therapists for any kind of pain you're experiencing. The treatment I've received here over the past 3 years has been comprehensive and effective (for scoliosis, bursitis, and random flare-ups). From someone who suffers from chronic pain, I can't recommend them enough. I've followed them to a second office, and I've even seen a patient who comes in from a different state because he loves them so much!

Over few months ago I hurt my back remodeling my house. I was in extreme pain. It hurts me to sit, stand, walk, etc. I went to see Dr. Mike at Crosstown Chiropractic. The staff there is very friendly and attentive. Dr. Mike is very knowledgeable and very good at explaining what was going on with my body. I noticed results after the first week. I couldn’t ask for a better place. I got lower back injury and one day I just couldn’t put my shoes on. That’s how bad it was. I called the office and left a message that I have emergency and Dr. Michael called me few min later and that’s how it all started. I used to see a chiro in 2013/2014 for neck and back issues. I stopped because her rates were too much for me. In April of this year i ended up hospitalized after an 8 day migraine triggered by neck pain..turns out my neck had a backwards curve. I could barely function even after I was released. I was in so much pain every day. I was going every week and now every 2 weeks since i was released from the hospital and I am happy to say that i have almost no headaches and neck pain anymore. I thank God i found this place so close to my house. I have been adjusted by Dr. Aho this whole time and I believe it is truly healing my body. Both doctors are so caring and kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone experiencing pain.

5 stars isn’t enough.....Love this place! Staff is excellent and they really know their stuff! For starters the office is so clean and very modern with private treatment rooms. My husband sees Dr. Aho and I see Dr. Amy...... they’re both great and they really take the time to listen and address any concerns. I’ve seen both massage therapists and they both are very knowledgeable and experienced. They all were a lifesaver throughout my whole pregnancy & post..... Highly recommend this place! Far beyond my expectations. The staff is friendly, the office is beautiful, modern & welcoming. Virtually no waiting time! Dr. Michael Aho is positive, caring healer. I was in such a great pain when I came in last December! It took only couple of visits to significantly improve my bad sciatica condition, which's gone completely in about 4 weeks. Also, I'd like to describe my sister's experience after she came here. Her terrible tension headaches were gone after the 3rd visit, as well as neck & shoulders pain! The Doctor's still working on her lumbar area and helping her with physical adjustments and other healing methods, and she's very excited to be feeling much better. I'm so happy to have found this gem of a place! Dr. Amy has been caring and thorough from the start. By far the best chiropractor I have seen- she took time to explain my condition and treatment plan in so much detail. She is gentle and obviously very knowledgeable in her field- everything one could hope for in a chiropractor! I feel FANTASTIC after my first visit to Crosstown Chiropractic. I move sound equipment in and out of my car regularly for my job and instantly I noticed I felt stronger. Carrying things I felt more assured and less strain. My regular mid back pain is alleviated and the stress I feel at my right hip is diminished. The staff was very thorough in taking the time to understand my body’s needs and my history. I’ve had regular chiropractic care my entire life and the experience here was second to none. A calm environment and the modern well-cared-for equipment really set my mind at ease. All the tests were objective and I never got a voodoo witchcraft feel like have with some practitioners I’ve seen before. I’ve made an appointment for massage and I love how integrated their therapy is with the actual adjustments. My body responded to the doc very well, and his certain technique allowed my body to relax and pop with every move. I highly recommend this practice and am excited to bring my whole family here. Crosstown Chiropractic is worth six stars! They are professional, but care at a personal level. I'm always able to schedule appointments around my full schedule and was even able to squeeze in some last minute work when I needed it recently. I receive, not only chiropractic work, but advice on how to better care for myself and my back on a day to day basis. The space is inviting, the care is excellent and CC is a great addition to the area! Added on October 2016- Mayra, the massage therapist, is out of this world! She is just the quality I would expect Crosstown Chiropractic would find and bring in. Healing hands and stretching advice too!
