I have had a wonderful experience at Ideal Spine and would highly recommend Dr. Shirlene Harrison to anyone who is in need of a competent, caring, personable and professional chiropractor. All of the staff are warm and helpful. The center is state-of-the-art and is geared to treating the whole patient. My original complaint is much improved, posture erect and I couldn't be more pleased with my "evolved" chiropractic treatment! I have given referrals to three of my friends who wanted to know where I go for my back/neck treatments. It is on the expensive side but what can you do with money that is better than improving your health and wellness?

Last year I was getting big hives all over my body; my feet and hands would swell, as well as my lip. I went to my MD, and an Allergist, who told me to take medication. I knew something was causing this, and I didn't want to take over the counter drugs daily. I went to stay with Dr. Shirlene and Dr. Deed, and was treated everyday at their clinic. They not only adjusting me, but also taught me about over all health and nutrition. I kept a daily food diary, and was given their recommended brand of fish oil and Vitamin D3, which I take every day faithfully. I did exercises and traction based on my individual spine. I don't have any hives anymore, and through the process their staff was amazing! I highly recommend Ideal Spine Health Center to anyone with a spine! It changed my life, and I am truly grateful and blessed to know them.

I purchased a groupon for a massage. After purchasing it was over a month before they had an opening for people with the groupon discount. The groupon was for two 1 hour massages. I got my first massage and it was adequate. I was scheduled for a second massage and had to cancel due to a family emergency. By the time I would be able to get in the groupon price would be expired and I wasn’t willing to pay additional for what would be another adequate, but not particularly wonderful massage. I’ll stick with my regular massage therapist. The facility is very clean and has easy access and great parking available. The staff was pleasant and efficient.

The staff are all professional, personable, thorough, communicative. If you have or suspect any neck or back problems, this is a great place to start as they focus on whole body restoration and wellness for each individual. It is not cookie cutter and it is not just putting a bandage on a problem. Dr. Justin helped me by seeing my problem (straight neck and 1 curve scoliosis) and addressed it with care in each treatment, which included a warm-up, adjustment, decompression/traction, and home care plan. I live out of state, but they were able to see me for a week and provide take home tools and names of providers in my area to follow up with the treatment plan they started. When we arrived, we were greeted with a most friendly staff (everyone!). Each time we met a new person, they always shook our hand and introduced themselves. Dr. Joe was up front and honest with all options of our treatment and didn't try to hid any "magic" fix that we would or would not see. We were referred by our chiropractor for our daughter's scoliosis increasing curve progression. Having to "live" here for 2 weeks, the staff is very helpful in directing us around the area, giving ideas for things for us to do, and places to see. The facility is huge, yet cozy and friendly. All of the equipment was on site for what we needed to get her treatment going. Love the open atmosphere and approachability of all Dr.'s. We usually have multiple staff and Dr.'s helping her with each machine, adjusting the tightness, placement, and instruction. Very impressed with all.

Great people and treatment. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that I don't completely buy their belief that spine curvature is responsible for most back pain. I know they have done their own research but other research has shown no correlation between spine curvature and back pain except in extreme cases of curvature issues. Backs and back pain are complicated and there is no one fix. If their protocol works for you then great! However know your own back and don't just blindly sign up for their extended care for 25+ additional visits unless you really feel it is right for you.

Best Chiropractic clinic in Boise! The entire staff is friendly, upbeat and helpful. The adjustments, traction and exercises have helped me feel much better. I went because I was having low back pain which had been going on for 5 years and bad headaches. I figured like any other chiropractor I would just get adjusted quickly and be on my way and then back in a few months. However, the bio-physics science of reshaping your spine for a more permenant longer lasting really intrigued me. Yes it was expensive but completely worth it. I feel so much better and haven’t had low back pain in months and my neck feels great. I love having better posture. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ideal Spine and the staff here are amazing. I came in with a severe disk herniation causing bilateral leg numbness and severe weakness. My surgeons are wanting emergency surgery.
