I have been coming to see Dr. Michael Toyooka for over 15 years. He is amazing! I come to see him for low back pain when it arises, and he has been able to locate and adjust my spine to stop the pain every time. He uses the activator method which I believe is much better than the hit or miss snap, crackle, pop treatment you receive at the other places. Additionally, you are never pressured into a payment plan that makes you go back every month. He wants to help you when you are in pain. Thanks to him I was able to continue actively in a very demanding career as US. Navy Deep Sea Diver. My wife was skeptical until she went to see him in pain. She left a believer...You will not be disappointed!

I'm very fortunate to have found Dr. Toyooka. Most chiropractors use the manual manipulation that makes me feel uncomfortable and sore at times! I've been coming to see Dr. Toyooka for about 2.5 years now and he's always been there to help me when I'm busted (sometimes on a whim) and fix me up! He's very caring and gentle techniques because he uses the activator to make adjustments. I would definitely recommend coming in to see him and his massage team! All of his staff including Mona (receptionist) super friendly!

Nice staff I had a Groupon for my birthday a massage and 2 adjustments the massage was great but I got to be honest I excepted to get my neck cracked but didn’t happen if fact I didn’t get cracked at all I told them I’ve been having head.aches and stiff neck so he used a clicker thing on me he said it was suppose to move the bone I don’t think it did anything I do if it because I was on a Groupon but I did not get what I excepted I went to another chiropractor office to fix my neck. Very nice staff though

I would highly recommend choosing Dr. Toyooka as your Chiropractor. He is welcoming, funny, and really down to earth. My initial consultation with him and the level of service I received was above my initial expectation. The combination of his unique technique with therapy really left my back and overall body feeling lighter and less tense than when I had walked in. His office environment was clean and organized. I had no problems scheduling my appointments. As a military veteran I would highly recommend working with him and his therapists, your body will thank you.

If you are looking for amazing Chiropractors who really care about you, this is the place. All the Dr.'s in the office are extremely knowledgable. My whole family gets adjustments from them since we are all athletic and in need of regular treatments. My daughter was suffering from migraines and they fixed them with a few adjustments. Then she threw some ribs out from surfing and they were able to put her back in place in no time. Plus, the have really talented massage therapists in house so you can get some muscular work done as well. And the Aloha Spirit is strong in the office so you will feel welcome from day 1. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Have been a regular patient of Dr. Toyooka for over 3 months and have not regretted it. Had pains that radiated from lower back to my toes or my head depending on what position I slept in the night prior. Now, the only pains I experience come exclusively when driving through Oahu's beautiful traffic (why wouldn't you use a turn signal, tho?) If horror stories have made you skeptical or even paranoid of chiropractors, you'll be pleased to know that Dr. Toyooka doesn't twist and contort your body into shapes resembling kanji characters. Instead, he uses an Activator Adjusting Instrument that only requires the patient to lay comfortably down on their stomach as it delivers quick and focused impacts. The tool is so quick you don't have time to tense up and therefore reduce the chances of anything going wrong. Dr. Piianaia and Dr. Toyooka have their patients cycle through their cadre of Licensed Massage Therapists in order to prevent your body from acclimating to one LMT's style. This way your body is loose, relaxed, and ready for adjustment. The staff is very friendly (even their koi fish!), the lobby is spacious without feeling like an empty void, the parking is accommodating (depending on if it's a big holiday), and after feeling better from treatment you can walk downstairs and do your grocery shopping! I did not receive any incentive to write this review. I sincerely believe (and feel) this establishment deserves all the praise it's earned but never shown.
