This chiropractor’s office is AMAZING!!! I’m SOOOO grateful that my attorney recommended this office after the horrible experience I’ve received with Delaware Injury - Dr. Silver.
I was sitting at a red light when suddenly I was slammed into from behind and sandwiched in between another stopped vehicle
in January of 2019. It should have ended my life. I, and my puppy, were very fortunate to survive. The insurance company recommended I go to Dr. silver, who in one visit had convinced me that if I continued my care with her, I might be at more risk than I was from the accident. This woman was forcing my body to crack and bend so aggressively that I was tearing up in her office. My injuries sustained were so severe and she exasperated them. Upon leaving the office, I called my insurance company in a panic and they agreed to transfer my care. For the next three days I received a phone call and voicemail after voicemail being grilled by Dr. Silver her self as to why I stopped care from her. Harassing to say the least. They recommended Skocik Chiropractic and provided me with the phone number to call and schedule the appointments. I called immediately.
It just so happened to be their lunch hour but for that hour, Dr. Eric Skocik Spent time talking to me on the phone explaining his practice, the process with the insurance companies, his rates and everything necessary/beyond that I could’ve ever inquired about. Once he understood the severity of my injuries he scheduled me to come in on his day off (Saturday) the very next day to ensure that I was seen as soon as possible.
The first day I barely could walk into the office without tears. My neck was so stiff I could barely move. In one/three sessions, he greatly improved my neck. It was amazing. Unfortunately the rest of my injuries were too severe to treat as quickly. I have a number of major injuries to include but not limited to bulged disc, vision loss, etc. Those are things that can’t be treated as quickly so the road to recovery is still ongoing for me.
I’m 7 months into treatment. I’m still in a significant amount of pain and it is unknown at this time when the pain will subside. I’ve had an epidural injection from an orthopedic surgeon with ZERO relief and back surgery isn’t off of the table yet. But what I can say is, I look forward to my visits with the Skociks. Out of every doctors appointment I’ve needed to go to in the last 7 months, they are the only glimmer of hope I’ve had that everything might be okay at the end of this. I regularly enter his office in a lot of pain and his treatments are the only thing getting me through this process while we work to treat all of the damage the accident has caused.
