I want to recommend Westport Chiropractic & Acupuncture because I talk about them in the entire tri-state area! I'd had several other chiropractors who were "okay" -- they used electrical stimulation, heated blankets and then would "crack" your back. The only trouble is that my occasional back spasms would return. And then by chance I discovered Dr. Julie Gabriel and it was like seeing a diamond after only being used to cubic zirconia! She gently but accurately "manipulates" my muscles around the spine to get them into alignment. She's fantastic and truly solves any pains I have. I have tried to find a similar chiropractor after we moved to NJ, but no luck ... so I return to Westport Chiropractic when I need help. She's amazing!

My father picked me up an hour early from school, and we showed up 45 minutes early for our appointment to fill paperwork out, and maybe seeing the doctor(were we wrong). After filling out paperwork and what not we sat for 30 minutes before being moved into an office. Once inside of the office my father and I waited for 20+ minutes without seeing a single doctor. Once we came outside to see what was going on we were told the doctor was STILL not ready. In total we wasted close to 2 hours of time, don’t think about coming here if you have plans. Otherwise pretty nice employees, and got a refund.

This is a cash register. We booked my wife a Groupon for $38; she walked out with a bill for $185, every move made carrying a fat charge (which was given without any option). The 'laying on of hands' was a total joke; Does Dr. Guerian really believe we are stupid enough to fall for a 3 minute pressing of two palms lightly on my wife's back does one ounce of good? As my orthopedic surgeon friend said "When chiropractors get sick, where do they go? They come see me!"

Dr. Geurin is an experienced and knowledgeable chiropractor who literally walked me through every step to my recovery. I came in with really bad back pain, but within a week of visiting on a daily basis, all the pain is gone. He assured me that the back pain won't be a problem in the future. I have had excruciating neck and back pain for almost a half a decade, and i left it untreated, until today, it got so unbearable that I had to see someone, I googled Chiropractors near my office and Westport Chiropractic was the top result, and i couldn't be happier that they were, from the receptionist to the Nurse to the Dr. every single person was not only extremely friendly and accommodating but i walked out of there for the first time in 5 years with out any severe neck pain. The Dr said ill need to come back on a semi regular basis to correct the damage to my muscles and spine, but Im super happy that i can go back to living with out this excruciating pain, sadly its been so long i had almost forgotten what its like to live with out neck and back pain. I’m so happy i found this place. My back has been amazing since i started coming here over a year ago. Not only does dr. guerin fix any many i have in my neck or back but he fixes other areas like the hip and knee. He’s very knowledgeable about what he does and you can tell he has a passion for it. I drive from Hamden so yes this place is worth the 45-50 min commute!
