I went to see Dr. Menta because I'm so tired of constantly being in pain. I have back pain, neck pain knee pain, I'm a mess. After 20 years of working in NYC as a police officer, my body has been through a lot. I've been to other chiropractors, and I just have never found one that worked. Last week I finally went to Dr. Menta, and after my 1st body adjustment, I am not kidding my neck pain was gone, I know its hard to believe, but I am not kidding. I left the office not feeling pain at all, and my neck pain its always there, no matter what, I've lived with that pain as far back as I can remember. SEVERE LOWER BACK PAIN! You will give anything, do anything and believe anybody who would make it feel better. So that is where Menta Chiropractic, LLC comes in to the picture. Friend recommended them; I did some googling on their method of treatment, reluctantly made the appointment. Remember, I was in pain. You know, the pain that makes the grown man cry. Two weeks and one x-ray later the pain is almost gone. Still skeptical, was not sure what to attribute such a dramatic and rapid relieve to. Was it just the matter of time, was it a placebo effect or was it Dr. Menta’s little tool that did the trick? Who cares, the pain is gone! Last week helped my daughter move the couch. Needless to say, back to Dr. Menta. This time, the right side. One session and the pain is gone. I mean, not less, gone! All my doubts had evaporated. Not the time, not the placebo. Apparently Dr. Menta knows something about the back pain and how to heal it. And it is all done without the drugs. What a relief! Glad my friend recommended him. Thanks Dr. Menta.

I initially began seeing Dr. Menta for age related, lower back pain. His treatments tremendously helped, but I began experiencing sciatic pain due to an exercise related injury. There were moments I did not believe I would ever heal, but Dr. Menta kept reassuring me that I would. He was right! I could barely walk when I went to Dr. Menta. My sciatica pain really had me crippled up. After the 1st session, I could move again. I wasn't pain free but there was a huge reduction in pain. I had these pains for a couple of years and after seeing multiple doctors who did no help, I made an appointment with Dr.Menta. So I've been through the ringer and gone to a dozen doctors. Dr. Menta was the only one that gave me hope and relief. I've been playing sports my whole life with lots of lifting, running, and wear and tear on the body. I have been in quite a few car accidents with no severe injuries (thank god). It started about 3 years ago when I started seeing signs of severe sciatica running down my right hamstring. I was seeing another chiropractor who was great but he was not relieving my one symptom that was causing my extreme pain of feeling as if someone had poured a can of gasoline on my leg and lit it on fire. I couldn't sit for more than 30 minutes and laying down was excruciating. I've had 2 Xrays, 2 MRI's, gone to orthopedic specialists, went through 6 weeks of physical therapy, oral steriods, 4 cortizone (epidural) shots in my back, and finally accupuncture. They found that in my MRI's I had a herniated disc in my L5S1 which was thought to be causing my sciatica. I guess there was no other option other than surgery. WRONG!!!!!. My family told me about a doctor in Milford who they believed might be able to help my condition. To be honest I wanted no part of any more doctors but they had convinced me otherwise. What else do I have to lose?? Going to see Dr. Menta was the best thing I have ever done. Come to find out....my pain was not from my herniated disc....it was from a completely different part of my back. Imagine if I chose to go into surgery and woke up with the same pain I had when I went in??? Thank goodness I chose to go see Dr. Menta before choosing surgery (which should be your last option). He is to the point, professional, and extremely hopeful. If he can help you.....he will. I am highly highly recommending anybody who has any sort of back pain to go see this miracle worker for yourself. My pain level when I walked in was 9 out of 10.....now 4 weeks later I am down to a 3 on the pain level. He has brought me hope for a better life. He truly is amazing and I am so thankful for doctor's like Dr. Menta who's biggest reward is making people like us feel whole again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This review is way overdue. I actually don't review many things but I do read them and know the importance they serve. I wish I could rate Dr Menta, his wonderful wife Jill and his whole business practice more than 5 stars. I have been a patient of their's for roughly 7 years. I will never forget my first experience going to see him. My eyes welled with tears when he evaluated me and said that he could help me with my continued never ending horrible pain I had. I am In the hair industry and work became such a torturous experience. It took some time to get completely healed but Dr Menta did completely relieve my pain to where I felt like a rockstar again! I never had felt so depressed as I did before I met him. I was just seeing medical Drs that just wanted to pump me with medication and I was only 40 years old at the time and couldn't imagine spending my whole life doing that. My first visit I was in rough shape and he agreed but assured me with some time and a little bit of patience he would get me on the right track to feeling better.
