Dr. Nick is an excellent chiropractor. He has helped me with pain in my neck, arm and hip. The pain was so severe that it was affecting my sleep, work and life in general. I have had shoulder and neck pain for over 10 years. When the pain was at it's worse I could not get up from bed. It literally was ruining my life. I even thought of canceling a big move I was embarking on because I could not control the pain. My MD wanted to give me medication and a specialist wanted to give me regular cortisol injections. Both doctors were not able to correctly diagnose the issue. After visiting Dr. Nick he was able to determine where the pain was coming from and get to the root issue. Then he was able to use his Chiropractic toolbox; which included acupressure and A.R.T. to help the area so that I was no longer in acute discomfort. This is the first time in years I found a doctor who was able to get to the root of the problem and treat it with out medication so that I was feeling better immediately. Unfortunately (for my body) I am a graphic designer that has to sit for extended periods of time working at a computer. This profession is not conducive for a pain free body. But Dr. Nick had a positive outlook and began educating me with tools and options that I could incorporate into my work life that would help relieve my pain while working. Some of the tools that he introduced me to were educating me on what correct posture even is, a posture brace, beneficial exercises that help reduce discomfort, and the benefits of a stand up desk. I implemented all of his advice and continued to see him for treatment and I can finally say with such relief that my shoulder pain no longer drives my life! I am able to be free of the intense pain I once had! And I now am able to take care of body so that it can function optimally when I am at work and not. There a very few doctors out there who can determine the root issue, treat the issue with alternative modalities without using harmful toxic medications and help your body heal the right way. Dr Nic, is simply amazing! I have been to many sports chiropractors and he is THE BEST in CT . He recently added Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) to the practice and for any one with serious issues its worth it!
