I have had nothing but wonderful experiences here at Cromwell Chiropractic. Dr. Shortell and his staff and friendly, polite, and genuinely care about your well-being. I have been seeing Dr. Shortell for just over 2 months, since my family doctor prescribed me 800mg ibuprophen to combat my back pain instead of diagnosing the problem. Since I've started with Dr. Shortell I've been feeling a million times better. I love how he can target exactly what is hurting and explains why. He takes the time to make sure you are comfortable with everything, have a good understanding of what is wrong and does re examinations to ensure you are getting better! I would recommend Dr. Shortell to anyone in need of a great chiropractor.

In the first visit Dr. Shortell told me I have a rotator cuff injury and my spine was out of alignment. After a few visits I realized that he was so right. They were able to take me in on very short notice when I was a new client with very bad and acute back pains! Robert Shortell is a great chiropractor and has been very good at tailoring his treatment and the frequency of the treatments to my current conditions. I started out a couple of years ago when repeating back issues finally got so bad that I had to do something. I started out with an in-depth evaluation including xrays and range of motion tests followed by intensive weekly treatment and exercises for the first month or so, gradually going into more of a maintenance mode. Since I started going, I have not had any episodes nearly as bad as when I first came to Robert, though sometimes after long flights or an unfortunate lift doing projects in the yard or on the house, I've had a moderate flare-up. Robert always gets me back on track quickly and I am always amazed and grateful at how quick I can get in with an emergency and how flexible they are overall with their appointments. I'm currently going about once a month and plan on doing so for as long as my insurance covers it. I believe the treatments combined with my exercises and stretches are an important part of the reason that I've been largely free of my neck and back pains since I started.

Yes I was that person. The one who said I was to scared to go to a chiropractor. Well when the pain was at its peak and I no longer had much mobility, suffering from migraines daily, pain in every part of my body and no dr was listening. Dr Shortell went so far above and beyond to figure out the true nature of my issues. He actually validates you with your medical history and is just a kind human being who just wants to help people get better. From his history he went into practice because of pain he was dealing with. His staff Marianne, Jennifer, Gail, And Debbie I'm sure there are more staff I have not met are incredible. They are so friendly and caring and just an amazing bunch of ladies. If you are suffering this is the place to go. Once you start it is an appointment you look forward to going to everytime. If you are experiencing any kind of back or neck pain; give Cromwell Chiropractic a call and schedule an evalution appointment. Dr. Shortell will do a very thorough evaluation and come back to you with his findings and what course of treatment he recommends. You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. I suffered for years with back and hip pain, limited range of motion, and steadily decreasing activity for fear of the pain of spasms. Only Dr. Shortell was able to correctly diagnose the problem and then begin to correct it. I am happy to report that I am about 95% pain free and I don't live in fear of the pain anymore either. My range of motion has dramatically increased and continues to improve. My activity levels have dramatically increased to near normal complete with regular excercise and strength training. I highly recommend Dr. Shortell and his entire staff at Cromwell Chiropractic Center.

Many years ago I found that regular chiropractic adjustments were necessary to stay in alignment and avoid extreme discomfort followed by weeks of concentrated visits to remedy painful situations.
