Smith Chiropractic has done wonders with my neuropathy.. Orginlally, Dr. Terry gave a presentation in Pueblo regarding what he could offer to improve symptoms associated with neuropathy. He provided lunch following the presentation.. I went thinking. at least I get a free lunch. The presentation was informative and enticing... I later signed up for the 21 treatments.. I am now at the end of the process adn the symptoms have eased quite a bit. I don't have diabetes and have good circulation so I was confused as to why my feet were getting numb in the first place.. Anyway, i would like to applaud Dr. Smith and his kind, caring staff for all the help.

I have severe peripheral neuropathy. I was lured into presentation in a restaurant by Smith chiropractic. My pain is so bad, I wanted to believe that therapy as presented can at least improve the pain. This therapy is not covered by any insurance or Medicare and charges are outrageously high. After 1st, 3 weeks I realized that this therapy is nothing but "trial and error" led light source attached to your feet for 20 minutes. They tell you if therapy does not work, they will refund half of your money. Forget about the refund because their measurement technique is so manual and can be manipulated that they will tell you" your pain has improved" regardless of how you feel. After 3 months of therapy, I have no improvement, no refund. In my opinion, this therapy does not work. The only good thing about the place is workers there are very nice and courteous.

For 5 years I dealt with back and neck pain that limited me from doing things I love. Since starting services with Dr. J and his wonderful staff a month ago I feel like a whole new person. Before I started care with Dr. Smith I had terrible pain in my neck to the point I was only sleeping 3-4 hours per night. I see Dr Griffin. Five years ago I had a serious accident. Everything was addressed except the whiplash. Two years later, my neck pain and headaches became unbearable. The whole time doctors were saying it was just stress and arthritis. I spent so much money on doctors, X-rays, MRIs, CAT scans, physical therapy and prescription drugs. I was getting depressed and going through some dark times. I endured this pain for two years! I started with chiropractic care a couple years ago and was feeling immediate relief. But Dr Griffin really gave me the breakthrough to pretty much get me back to pre accident health. My biggest regret in life is that I wasn't going through chiropractic care before disaster hit. I used to be athletic and I now know it would have helped me with that. But mostly I wouldn't have gone through all that pain and wasted all that money on what clearly didn't help me in any way at all!! I absolutely know chiropractic care saved me from more surgeries! I was ready to beg for neck surgery because of the pain. I've had great chiropractors but Dr Griffin definitely got me where I need to be!! Also, the entire staff at Smith Chiropractic is incredible! Exceptional caring people!!!

I usually don't take time write a negative review, but my community must be informed how horrible this place is. As a former patient, I can honestly say that Dr. Smith's healthcare plans are a scam. From his chiropractic 'care' to the peripheral neuropathy program, you will be paying an enormous fee with no progress. He claims he is an expert in PN but his program is just a temporary solution for a long term issue. Give your hard earned money to a doctor who truly wants to heal you. Also, Kelly, who is a long time employee of Dr. Smith's office, always appears to be absolutely miserable. Walking into the office in pain and seeing her judgmental-up-and-down stare, will leave you feeling very unwelcome. Not a good employee to have around. This office is in a very poor part of the city. It is extremely outdated from equipment to decor. You would think they would put some money into improving the place. There are a handful of great chiropractors in Colorado Springs. Do not let their gimmicks lure you in.

Came in with the worst sciatica pain. I never had it before so i can't compare it but my pain tolerance if extremely high and this pain had me crying and praying to god to end it... I came in for adjustments, massage and laser treatment. The doctor nor his staff tries to up-sell you on anything. Your first appointment is a rundown on what they offer but they stick to basic treatments at first. When I got curious about the laser treatment for soft tissue repair I asked about if and booked an appointment and the next day had an adjustment, massage by their magic hands masseuse and a laser treatment and my pain was gone! The laser tech told me it may last for 1 hour or three days, depending on my body... it did last three days and tonight I have another laser treatment. When I say it lasted I mean the pain was 100% gone. This morning I woke up with a twinge of pain on the third day and I said to myself, she was right so unlike last time, i'm going to nip it in the bud and get that laser treatment stat! It took three treatments in total and my leg is feeling great! Make sure you get a combination treatment for pain: Adjustment massage laser. It will change your life:) Book an appointment with Dr smith, he is great, the staff is great and the treatments are very helpful.

An absolute SCAM! I went in because I was experiencing back pain. They interviewed me, took xrays and told me to come back the next day with my spouse for the treatment plan. They sat me down the next day and gave a presentation touting how great chiropractic care is and cures everything. Then comes the treatment plan high pressure sales tactic to extract $3000.00 from my checking account for a five month treatment. They will give you a discount when you pay up front in FULL! (Dr.) Was obviously not happy when I declined and requested pay as I go. Said they didn't want a bunch of transactions...Then comes the first treatment... layed down on the table, got my neck cracked, flipped over, three hip bumps, twist left, twist right (no pops), all done. Total time with adjustment, just shy of two minutes. Went to another Chiropractor nearby and had my issue resolved with two adjustments and $40.00.

I use the decompression machine as well as manual manipulation after being diagnosed with a bulging disc. The treatment has been decreasing the amount of pain I’ve been experiencing. This place is amazing, they have such kind and professional staffing with affordable rates for those without insurance. I'm 7 years Active Duty Army with bulging discs in my lower back. Not only was I seen very quickly but the staff were able to be extremely flexible with my schedule. Within a weekend my lower back pain was almost gone. I'm not saying its a miracle treatment as the DR gave me tools to help correct my issue. Thats the key! Smith Chiropractic is what every chiropractic office should aspire to be! They pay homage to the pioneer of chiropractic, Daniel David Palmer. His idea was that the function of the spine has consequences for the rest of the body. It makes sense as our spinal cord controls all the functions of the body and the nerves that branch from it must not be bent, pinched or obstructed. When he's not fixing backs and restoring health, Dr. Smith educates others on this manner so everyone can feel free to benefit from the practice. In my personal experience, the office has always been friendly, clean and well-organized. You swipe a card, wait for your session, swipe the card again and all the info and X-rays are on the screen to ensure the treatment is for your specific back. The visits are quick and easy! They also offer a kids play area which is a luxury considering I never had to wait long to get adjusted. Unlike others that might just adjust whenever you feel like spending the money, there's actually a treatment schedule in place because they care about your progress. They also offer infrared treatment for joint pain and massages. Worth the drive and money!

I went here because I had a groupon for an $18 adustment and my hip desperately needed realigned but when I got there Dr. Smith told me that he really doesn't feel comfortable doing any sort of adjustments on any of his patients without x-rays first, which cost $75. No where on groupon did it say you had to pay for x-rays to actually use your groupon. I informed them I could not afford $75 for x-rays and Dr. Smith reluctently said he could do the adjustment but he would have to have an x-ray of my hips first which would be $15 for the one picture. I was in so much pain that I agreed. When it came time for the adjustment he did nothing for my hips and popped my back in almost the same way I could at home with a big bear hug from my husband, except instead of me giving Dr. Smith a hug he basically lied on top of me to pop my back. In the end I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and in the same amount of pain as when I went in. Needless to say I will definitely be finding a different Chiropractor.
