I'm currently pregnant and was a little skeptical about going to a Chiropractor. I had been experiencing extreme lower back pain and decided to take a chance and get adjusted. Best decision I made Dr. Kalay is professional, Knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable and best of all I had immediate relief upon getting adjusted! He also immediately followed up with me after my visit with links to stretches I can do for the specific pain I was having. Would definitely recommend this place to any expecting mommies or anyone in general needing to be seen by a chiropractor!

Dr. Kalay's practice is my first chiropractic experience in Yuba City. His office was clean, and i was impressed with his professionalism. I had slept on a couch for 5 months and used a heating pad one night all night on my lower back, I really messed up, My back had a pain level of 10, Pain, stiff and couldn't bend. After going to Dr. Kalay for 6 days in a row and having 10 treatments, now my pain level is a 2 and I'm almost all better!!!! I truly thought I had permanently disabled myself. I went to Dr. Kalay for upper back issues and a popped rib. I was very nervous cuz I had been to several physicians and homeopathic doctors that were unable to help or were able to ease my pain for a couple days. After about 3 to 4 visits with Dr. Kalay I felt like a new person again, all my back issues disappeared and the pain was gone without having to take any pain meds. I am very grateful for what he has done for me and wish him nothing but success:)

I called Dr. Kalay for the first time after I had been suffering for a month with not being able lift up my right arm-I just though i had somehow sprained it and it would heal. I was impressed by him answering his phone and getting me an appointment right away and on a Saturday too. I felt relief after my first visit. He even called me later to check on me and let me know he had sent me stretches to help heal my arm. I highly recommend him. He is very caring and loves to educate you on what you can be doing to prevent injuries. A new patient for sure!

Dr. Kalay's desire is that his patients actually get well and not rely on him exclusively - what a concept! His focus is on sports injuries which gives him the mindset to help people get well and on with their life. He is extremely knowledgeable and happy to educate his patients on what is going on and how to fix it. I have been to other chiropractors who scheduled me for a certain period of time and number of treatments/week. Dr. Kalay was completely different than any other chiropractor that I had been to in that he emailed me 2 videos to strengthen and stretch my lower back from the very first time I saw him. That was the first time a chiropractor ever did that for me! After seeing him once/week for 2-3 weeks, he started spacing my appointments further apart. Since I was tolerating the first set of exercises well, he sent me 2 more videos that were a little more intense in strengthening my back to hold the adjustments. All other chiropractors I had been to made me believe that their adjustments alone would make me well, but he showed me that we can work together and that he didn't want me to rely on him exclusively. I do the exercises to strengthen and hold the adjustments and he adjusts me as needed. His exercises were also specific to my need - unlike others that I had been to. Beware - if you go in for lower back pain and your doctor gives you exercises for your upper back posture when your posture is fine and never gives you exercises for the area you are concerned with, go to Dr. Kalay!
