I sought chiropractic care in addition to other types of medical care after years of emotional trauma, sexual trauma, and several car accidents. After they took x-rays, one of the doctors had me sit down in a chair placed in the middle of the room. He snuck behind me while I was sitting in the chair, placed his belly/groin area on my head, and massaged my neck for about 10 seconds. This was a HUGE trigger and caused an adrenal freeze and a very intense delayed meltdown. In addition, when I was put on the massage table, the nurse pulled my pants down with no warning or verbal communication. She just did it. When the time for acupuncture came, I had specifically told them I had a needle phobia, and did NOT want it, and the doctor HAD THE NEEDLES IN HIS HAND READY TO PUT IN MY SKIN before I looked up and freaked. This place is wholly unprofessional and caused more harm than it did good.

I was a former patient but took a 4-year hiatus from chiropractic care (silly, right?). During that period I developed pain in both knees, neck, left shoulder and lower back. The pain in my knees kept me from sleeping at night and the back and shoulder pain were constant. I went to an orthopedic who suggested pain management...did not want to go that route. Then the light bulb went off in my brain and I returned to Dr. Nancy. After just a few visits I am pain free and sleeping all night. I highly recommend Care Chiropractic.

I came to Care Chiropractic Clinic because I suffered with severe constant lower back pain, hip pain and neck pain. I felt depressed because I could no longer live the active lifestyle that I enjoyed. I dreaded going to the grocery store and standing in line ! I was stuck in a bent over position all day and it worsened at night. I hated seeing myself in the mirror looking like that. This weekend I went to the dog park and walked and stood for over 2 hours. I was so pleased because I thought that I would never enjoy that activity again! It has been a month of treatment and I am getting my life back, standing straighter and have a lot less pain! I love Care Chiropractic Clinic and the staff there ! I am so glad that I found them!

My experience?...unusual impatience with a possible patient. I just called to find out some details and whoever answered, did not identify themselves -strike one, was much too curt with a new customer. I even asked at one point if she needed to get off the phone. She’s said “No”. Oh alright, so you’re just rude then? -strike two. I didn’t want to give one star because some raters are simply dramatic. I gave two stars because the customer service was very poor. Try a little harder, people. Like I’ve always told people I’ve worked with, at least PRETEND you care and work with the people who are clients and POSSIBLE CLIENTS...especially new people. Maybe send your receptionist to a courtesy school. If the person watching your front door is brash and rude, there is a high percentage that people will stay away from your door. And to the lady answering the phone, maybe you can look into other work? Your job is to make people feel welcome not like they’re some problem for you to swat away as soon as possible. Because at this rate you’ll push people away rather than draw them in. -strike three.

Twenty years ago, I was in a car accident that threw my back completely out if alignment. Dr. Nancy took x-rays and you did not need to be a doctor to see how crooked my back was. She said she was surprised that I was still walking! For the first month of treatment, I was seen 3 times a week, then twice a week for a month, and so forth, until she had me all fixed up. She allowed me to do a payment plan in order for me to receive the treatments I so desperately needed. She was far more concerned for my health and care than she was about anything else. She is a miracle worker! Her expert care has allowed me to become the strong, capable person I am today. I haven't lived in Mandeville since 2003, but I still think of the amazing Dr. Nancy as I deal the aches and pains of getting older, and wish I could still see her for my chiropractic care. Great place. They were the first chiropractic clinic to measure the bones in my leg and find out I had a short leg . The insert has helped immensely. The treatments for headaches, including acupuncture, help me a lot as well. They have a lower cost adjustment only option which is great for students as our student insurance doesn't really cover chiropractic.

I began seeing Dr. Nancy as soon as I felt back pain during my third trimester of pregnancy. Before I started going to Care Chiropractic I suffered with severe headaches and neck pain from injuries. I also experienced tingling in my left arm and hand. After several treatments the last few months, I am no longer suffering severe headaches as I did before treatment and I have not felt any tingling in months since I started treatment at Care Chiropractic. I also enjoy the massage therapist which loosens my neck and shoulder muscles up for adjustment and I appreciate Dr. Nancy working with me regarding the type of treatment. Dr. Nancy and her staff are absolutely amazing. They provide and amazing service with the BrainCore neurofeedback program. If you are a traumatic brain injury survivor, it is never too late to use this service to improve your cognitive recognition. It is also great for ADD and ADHD patients.
