I was extremely happy with the adjustment Dr. James did. I am though giving 2 stars as he proceeded to tell me my child is "broken" because he is vaccinated. He then proceeded to lecture me on all the ways he feels vaccines harm children. I was extremely unhappy by that point and will not be returning. Edit: I had a good talk with Dr. Matt today and he has taken care of the situation. I will be returning to the clinic but only under Dr. Matt's supervision. I have upgraded my review. Thank you Dr. Matt!

The best ever in Anchorage! Sadly, we have been to a few (>6) providers in town and finally found a chiropractor who is not only knowledgeable, but wants to treat you as a whole patient (including your financial health). Did not include unnecessary treatments. Healed up more quickly than ever. Office staff super professional, knowledgeable, and friendly as well!! Highly recommended.

Went in with severe head ache, told Dr. Matt what I thought was going on he asked a few questions, he told me lay on my back he started touching feeling around on my head and neck a few cracks and my headache was gone! His hands and his massage team have magical healing hands! Wouldn't go any where else.

Don't spend your time in pain. I suffered for five days and as soon as I had a treatment, the pain started to go away. I walked in hunched over and walked out standing straight. Get the help you need; the sooner you get help, the sooner you'll be on the road to recovery.

I am the father of a 10 year old girl. One day she put her neck out of place at school and I took her to a chiropractor that tried to fix her but only scared her with his first shot at an adjustment and was not able to complete the task as she was in tears. He charged me $180.00 for that. it was only a few weeks later and she hurt her neck again playing jump rope at school. I found Sports and Spinal Injury clinic at 6643 Lake Otis pkwy apt#A in Anchorage and they comforted my daughter with a calm gentle voice did some massage and asked her if he could make an adjustment. she allowed the Dr to an adjustment. Since then we have been back a few times and she now loves the chiropractor. Her neck and back are now in alignment and my she is feeling great again. I am very impressed with the level of care and compassion that the staff at Sports and Spinal Injury and recommend to anyone that needs chiropractic help to come and check this place out. All 3 visits were cheaper than 1 at the other place. I give 10 stars!

I went in to better understand what was causing very bad leg pain in my right leg. Dr. Matt correctly diagnosed the cause on the first visit and he referred me to a local surgeon for next steps. Dr Matt was extremely professional and spent over 45 minutes with me in our consultation making sure that all my questions got answered and that I felt comfortable with next steps. Dr. Matts staff was extremely friendly and remembered my name for visits. Sometimes chiropractors get a bad rap because they are sometimes viewed as wanting to make a quick buck. Dr. Matt and team blew me away and I would recommend my closest friends and family to him. I now consider Dr. Matt and staff advocates for my continued healing!

I am so glad that I read the reviews and decided to go to this clinic when I decided to see a chiropractor. I am writing this review because these are facts about this place and I really need to share my story of my experience with Dr. Matt Huettl. As soon as you walk in the clinic the ladies are just so amazing. They know your name, they make it a habit of trying to remember who you are. This is so important. They are very nice, they laugh and joke around with you! They helped me write because my hands were seizing up from filling out all the forms! They are so sweet! I walked in to this clinic not knowing what was going to be the outcome because I’ve seen a few doctors and had a few opinions but nobody actually examined me and went over what was really happening. Dr. Matt never broke I contact with me when we had our exam. He listened to everything that I was saying, he took notes on what I was saying, it took every test that we did very thoroughly and slow. He explained everything in detail to where I didn’t have any questions except for what is that medical term mean. This chiropractor is the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen and I have seen a few. I have always went in for lower back pain pinch nerve feeling because I do a physically demanding job so often do I need to get adjusted but I’ve always been brought in adjusted and left I’ve never sent an office for a few hours and really got exam to in vitals taken he really went above and beyond to see what is going on and I thought I was going in for a simple carpal tunnel and tennis elbow issue. He immediately took me off work for two weeks and suggested that we start treatment right away and though it was the end of the day we didn’t get to do x-rays which we will be doing today. Yesterday I walked out of that office with so much relief that I was seeing a chiropractor that knew what he was doing. He knows what treatment plan to put me on, he knew what he wanted to do to help me. Hopefully everything works out then nothing serious is going on but even if something serious is going on I am very confident that this doctor is going to look out for my best interest. Even if he doesn’t fix it which I will update later this is the best chiropractic office that I’ve been to. I recommend everybody go to this chiropractor.

The care I receive at SSIC is personal. The doctor listens to the issues that bring me to the clinic. He tells me what he's going to do and the reasons why. If the issue is beyond chiropractic care, he tells me what the next steps might be.

I am so glad I chose to come to this clinic for treatment of my wrist injury!! The staff were wonderful/happy and my doctor was very respectful and experienced. He gave me personalized care for all of my chiropractic concerns (not just my wrist) and took his time to make sure I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. I would consider this the best appointment I have ever had because the doctor treated me so well. I have already scheduled an appointment to go back, at which time I will receive spinal x-rays, evaluation, and diagnosis of issues that I've been struggling with for years.
