The staff know their stuff and explain everything. When in first time for a reoccurring shoulder problem, and while getting treated for that my left knee started to scream going up steps. After only two visits and having exercises giving to me my knee pain is almost non existent. My shoulder needs much more attention but between physical therapy and deep tissue massage is is much better. Exercises where given to me, yes they help greatly

I thought I had torn a muscle in my shoulder, but it wasn't healing. So, I had Dr. Smith take a look at it. It turned out the shoulder joint was out of place. 3 days later my shoulder feels great again, after a month and a half of pain. I should have seen him much sooner.

Upon arrival I was examined by my needs, x-rays reviewed, and treatment catered specifically to me. I didn't hate it. It's just very grungy looking. I am not sure it's even safe to sit on the furniture. And they want you to take you shoes off. Amazingly weird.

Purchased a Groupon for an hour massage and it was one of the worst I've had. I told her deep tissue and she was massaging soft and after I told her harder she just rushed around my back, which wasn't really relaxing but more hectic. I don't think I will return but the staff was really nice and they offer military discounts and a free chiropractic appointment,

The massage therapist is wonderful very communicative but the policies are ridiculous. I had surgery on my right ankle and was therefor unable to drive my pre-arranged ride had to cancel and they charged me $30.00 for a reschedule fee. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd think twice about using their services.

I contacted Midtown Chiroractic looking for relief from a long struggle with frozen shoulders constant pain. After many sessions with physical therapy in Anchorage, my pain was not subsiding so I opted for chiropractic assistance and also the deep tissue massage at Midtown Chiropractic. It has been a blessing for me. The knowledgeable guidance and corrections made has been so helpful. The atmosphere in their open, airy and wonderfully designed area is a pleasure to walk into and the personnel so warm and welcoming. A great place for excellent healing. My previous provider was struggling against my muscle tension to adjust my neck for weeks. Dr. Colby at MC was able to gently adjust my neck and relieve the pain during the first visit. A lot of the chiros seem like they have a revolving door where they adjust a patient and rush them out of the office to get the next person on the table. Dr. Colby is a lot more person focused and takes the time to really treat your condition and not just sell you an adjustment. He's extremely knowledgeable and always seems focused on helping you understand what is maintaining the issue and how to fix it permanently.

I want to enthusiastically recommend the Midtown Chiropractic Clinic for back injures. I particularly like Dr. Colby Smith’s approach of combining deep tissue massage with spinal adjustments. I am 69 years old, recently retired and new to Anchorage. My previous work required a lot of lifting and so for several years I used chiropractic care quite often. I was apprehensive at having a different person fix my back after I stupidly tried to keep up with a 40-year old doing shovel work.
