We have been to a “chiropractor” before for my daughter’s back pain and they spent a couple minutes reading the question sheet than signed off on getting massages which only helped the pain for a few days. Dr. Odney quickly saw the problem and started her on program of therapy and exercise that reduced pain in the first week and I could see the difference in her posture by the third week.

I found Better Health through their awesome website. It is very user friendly and presents a question/answer format. Very informative is the list of types of pain/injury they treat. Staff greets me in the lobby and they start on time. Before my 1st appt I completed a Private Insurance Verification; the receptionist emailed the info to me within 24 hrs and called me the next day for any questions. I really appreciate this service. On my 1st appt my Doc thoroughly reviewed my New Patient paperwork and shared concerns for my health that needed followup elsewhere (not chiropractic or rehab). He recommended treatment options including Electrical Stimulation, Theraputic Ultrasound, Massage Therapy, and Doc Adjustment. I received each of those treatments on my first appt. My Treatment Plan was presented on my 2nd appt. Better Health offers financial incentives and several bonuses which were explained my 1st appt. I am really impressed with the vast knowlege of all the staff (receptionist, massage therapist, and Docs). Everyone has an understanding of treatment plans, the procedures and equipment, and the outcome goals. The genuine caring, personal, friendliness of all the staff is enjoyed by me. I am really grateful to have found Better Health. I had a back injury while on vacation and had a long flight home on some mild pain killers. By the time I got back to Alaska, my sciatic nerve was severely aggravated. Other physical rehab places required a doctor's referral and were at least 48 hours out to see me. I am still a work in progress as the low back, sciatica, neck and shoulder issues some of which date back many years to almost 4 years ago that have progressively gotten worse and created more issues over time are finally being resolved. I have held off on writing my review for a multitude of reasons. I have seen a lot of various Doctors for these issues and not all of their expertise combined collectively have provided the result that Better Health Chiropractic and Rehabilitation has to date. So was it a matter of having faith?, trust?, belief?, being heard?. Yes you bet and I have the complete faith, trust, belief and know they are all listening and have heard me as a person and truly care about my health. The Wasilla staff are second to none with their professionalism, personal attentiveness and caring attitudes. I know where I will always recommend and go. So read the reviews and ask for them if you are referred or go in yourself and get back to a Better Life with Better Health.
