I have multiple problems with my back and also arthritis in my knee. The back problems are being dealt with and I’m able to work and do needed tasks with a deminishing amount of pain. The knee pain was so severe I honestly thought I would have to have knee surgery. I am much better and expect this to continue.

Recently I started Physical therapy and massage at Betterhealth. What can I say... This place is a miracle. Friendly staff start from Front Desk, DR. Nicklaus McCarty, Cindy and Randy. Walked back to Betterhealth after 13 years. I was happy. Talking with Dr. McCarty and discuss my situation and medical ordeal I being through 5 months... He made me build up my confidence and hope that I am at the right place. Now after 2 & 1/2wks working with them.... all I can say is... what a MIRACLE.. Dr. McCarty and staff, I would like to say: Thank you all for helping me get my life back to where I need to be, I'm still have a long way to go, but I know I can do it with all your help. I went to see Dr. DeChant because I was having problems with my shoulder which we soon discovered my neck was also causing some of the problem. After many adjustments and lots of rehab I am no longer in pain. Everyone in the office is warm, friendly and very professional. Right from the beginning I was told how long it would take, what to expect and what my insurance would cover which was great. Dr. Dechant goes the extra to make sure you feel good all over. One day he even worked on my sinuses which gave me relieve. I would recommend this office to anyone needing some relief with pain. There is so much more to chiropractic treatment besides popping one's back. Go see them you won't be sorry you did.

Everyone at the Northway office is absolutely fantastic!!!!! They are so friendly and helpful!!!! I have had to deal with neck and back issues for many years and have seen several different chiropractors some have been better than others, however Dr. DeChant is absolutely one of the best that I have ever seen!!!! Dr. DeChant takes the time to listen to my issues and provides a whole body adjustment. I appreciate that he is focused on not only relieving the current pain or discomfort, but also providing care so that I can have the best quality of life. I've been living with pain for so many years I can't remember when I was ever pain free. My pain level progressed over the years until in desperation and frankly, hopeless, I went to Better Health. Pain has affected my whole life in every aspect. It has changed my daily activities, stolen my hobbies, and has even made just trying to sleep painful and difficult. There was never a specific injury or "obvious" reason" to identify the pain. So when I started hurting it was easy to dismiss the issue or until my whole body hurt like hell and my neck, back and knee were so tender that it was physically painful to be touched. Over the years I lost bits and pieces of me as the pain intensified. Despite all the OTC remedies such as ice, heat, pain pills, massaging, wrapping and elevating the pain kept increasing. It wasn't until family game night that I realized that I couldn't even sit on the floor to play cards with my kids that I decided to see the chiropractor to see if they could reduce the severity of the pain. Thankfully, they listened and with compassion and empathy. The Dr examined me and told me that he was going to take some X-rays and perform some tests and come up with a treatment plan to reduce the pain and to hopefully prevent the pain from coming back. Within nothing to lose, I made appointments and committed to a comprehensive treatment plan with short term and long term goals. I was not thrilled at the thought of so many visits. With that being said, I am so grateful and have emended gratitude to the Better Health team. I love the staff. They are sensitive, cheerful and personable. Each of the play a vital role in my recovery and my future health. My pain lessens with every visit and while we still a lot of work to go, within the first 2 weeks, the results are fabulous!! I look forward to my appointments and the pain is getting less with every visit. My only regret, I didn't make the appointment years ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can sit on the floor and play games for Family Game Night. FYI: we are playing games just about every night and I can concentrate on winning and not the pain!

I am grateful to have found Better Health. I had a back injury while on vacation and had to fly 15 hours home on some mild pain killers. By the time I got back to Alaska, my sciatic nerve was severely aggravated. Other physical rehab places required a doctor's referral and were at least 48 hours out to see me. Better Health got me in for a consultation within 18 hours. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone!

I am Florence Wyatt and I came to Better Health Chiropractic & Physical Rehab about four months ago. I was in a lot of back pain and I didn't know who to trust with my body and this made me very sad. But the moment I walked into the office I was greeted by the receptionist with a sincere smile and words of care, Thank you Lindsey and Eniana for giving me that every time. I saw Dr. Vukelich who was just as kind and sincere, he took x-rays and explained it to me and my condition which was very clear to me, Thank you Dr. Vukelich for explaining my body to me, you treated me like I mattered. And that began my trust. Then the rehab changed doctors and they both explained and assured me that I would be in good hands. I must say when Dr. Alix Crome took over the trust never wavered because she really relieved my pain. She was popping and locking my bones until they didn't feel pain anymore, and I mean every time was a relief and she mapped out a really smooth process for me to get better, Thank you Dr. Alix for your professional care for my well being. Had a great experience and the doctor is awesome. I have very stiff shoulders and back. The doctor takes his time to loosen them up before the treatment. He also explains what he is doing and why and I never feel rushed. I have also had several massages which were just as effective. The therapist is very responsive to specific requests. I went in to better health hoping for a solution to my foot pain. I literally couldn't walk at night after work without finding something to hold onto. I honestly didn't expect to get any real results, as I had tried a lot of other doctors and physical therapists. But I can honestly say that Dr. McCarty and his staff helped a lot. I would say my pain has been reduced at least 75%. They used a DRS machine physical strengthening and some adjustments. I will recommend them highly. Additionally Dr. McCarty's knowledge and tips helped me with other physical problems

I have been seeing different chiropractors for several years and can consider myself somewhat critical in the following areas: timeliness of getting in the door and getting treated, the amount I feel welcomed in the clinic, how much time the staff take with you, and overall quality the care received. I’m not only feel comfortable and welcomed with the staff that functions as a fine tuned machine but I’m in a LOT less pain. Went in with some major pain in my neck, they were very polite and forgiving when it came to the pain, they knew how to handle the situation and how to get you cured, I really enjoyed my time there, the plans they set up are specific to your injury, it makes for a steady, yet fast recovery. Randy is awesome, he is the physical therapist there, he demonstrates how to do the exercise(s) and doesn't just let you sit there and suffer, he gets hands on and tells you if you happen do it wrong and he doesn't let you over do it, very patient. Rosa is great at massage therapy, she tells you exactly what she is going to do, how it may hurt during and afterwards, and if you trust her (and you should) the massage is more beneficial than you might think. The Dr. is just as great as her staff, she walks you through step by step on what the plan is for your injury and gives out improvement graphs to prove it, its great to see how far you've come. I also would like to thank Grace, she is great at letting you know your dates and times of your appointments as well as walking you through how they do things, whether it be about them or how insurance goes, and she always has a smile on her face. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pain, its Better Health for me, ALL THE WAY!! Great job everyone.

Dr Nick McCarty and his staff are incredible! I went there with recurring back pain and started seeing incredible results rurig away! They have their own X-ray machine and I was treated professionally and respectfully from start to finish. Those people over there are great and Doctor Nick works miracles, to the point of me going there was aways something to look forward too, almost like a spa experience, they offer delicious coffee and tea, and before I got adjusted I would aways get awesome massages, they have awesome parking and if you can't drive they will even pick you up, I wish there was more than 5 stars, I will never again look for another chiropractor!
