Dr. Mel worked with me on a payment program I could afford and got me walking again in 3 visits and even offered to come in on his day off to get me ready for work. I have struggled with migraines for more than 3/4 of my life. I've been in chronic pain for as long as I remember and it had literally broken me. I had been put through physical therapy and countless medications that not only destroyed my mind but also my body and my equality of life. Tricare doesn't cover chiro for any military spouse and every chiro I had been to prior was ridiculous expensive that I couldn't afford to go. Then I found Anchorage Family Chiropractic. I've only gone two short weeks and I'm addicted! My migraines have gone down dramatically and I feel like I have a new lease on life! My son loves to go with me, and never wants to leave! Dr. Nellie and her assistant Gen are two of the sweetest, most kind, and caring people I have met. Due to Tricare denying chiropractic coverage for military spouses, Dr. Nellie decided that something needed to be done! They made chiropractic more than affordable for all of us, which I will be eternally grateful! We go in and get adjusted and leave. She dedicates as much time as you desire to not only make you feel better but to give you the knowledge you need to keep your spine strong! I want ALL military and their spouses to know about this opportunity! I thought I was never going to get fixed but I finally found my salvation! Anchorage Family Chiropractic saved me from a lifetime of pain and discomfort!

I love this place! The doctor and staff are always warm and welcoming. They work with you and your insurance to reduce large up front out of pocket expense. Its a walk in clinic, so when you wake up feeling lousy you don't have to wait two days for an appointment-- just head over. (They work until 6pm, so there's a lunch break of which you should be aware). Oh, and there's none of that offensive double-booking business going on like other clinics. Massage services are available-- I haven't yet tried them, but will. I seriously love my adjustments, they have the best roller beds in town (try them!!), and I walk out feeling great! As an R.N. and patient, I highly recommend them.

Was rear ended recently which has left me sore, irritable and not able to do the things I need to do as a mother and wife plus working a full time job. I called to see if they billed MVA claims and when I could possibly be seen. Within an hour I was walking into their office, an hour later walking out feeling better than I had in weeks. The staff is amazing, convenient appointment times and excellent care. Looking forward to my next visit!

I am visiting Alaska and have been a chiropractic patient for over 30 years. I was in desperate need of an adjustment! I was charged a new patient fee for talking to the Dr for 6 minutes in his office before the adjustment ($99)! I also got an hour massage from an in office masseuse (it was only 45 minutes). I asked for deep tissue and got Swedish! I would not use them again!
