Dr. Shoemaker and his health clinic team are absolutely fabulous! I’ve had Chiropractic treatment my whole life and have seen 10+ Chiropractors; Dr. Shoemaker has been the best yet! I went in with extreme hip-pain, sciatica, and Shoulder/neck pain. The Dr. set me up with a recommended treatment plan of 2 visits a week for 6 weeks (12 visits) and a month and a half later I am happy to say that the treatment has been wildly successful! I thought a lot of my pain was just a side effect of getting older and being overweight, but what the Dr. proved to me through his treatment was that with proper maintenance and care I can live truly pain free! Advanced Chiropractic has the nicest office in Fairbanks with the most advanced equipment in town! They are the only office with a class IV K-Laser in town and let me tell you that thing works miracles! Unlike other older lasers it shoots heat (amazing during our cold winters) deep into your tissue and hits pain in a way nothing else can! The Dr. isn’t pushy with his treatment plans, but follow them and I promise they will work! He doesn’t require X-rays and MRIs just to get your treatment started (like the others do). He works with almost all insurance plans and has great discounts for cash patients! His massage therapist Allie works wonders as well! Part of the treatment is clinical massage during your visits (which are commonly covered by insurance). I’ve had many massages in my life, but none have been as efficient at treating pain as hers! The therapist focuses all of her attention on your problem areas working to not only relieve your pain, but eradicate the pain. I whole heartedly recommend Advanced Chiropractic! 10/10!

Haven't been to a chiropractor in years! Started having back pain and knee from standing all day at my job. I was referred to Dr. Shoemaker and it was the best recommendation! Very friendly and made the process very easy and relaxing. We went over my problems and he adjusted me and gave me tips on how to keep the muscles from tightening up. Dr Shoemaker is awesome! He really knew where to go and how to get these tight joints to crack and release. He also used his new laser on my knee and sciatica pain, with great results! It's been a week and my knee and sciatica are still pain free. He took his time with me and even called after my first appointment to make sure I was doing okay. I wish I lived in Fairbanks! Came in with excruciating neck and back pain from years of stress, bad posture, and computer use. The office is new, clean, professional and bright. The equipment is modern, clean, and waaaaay better than the archaic military equipment I was used to. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable, technical, and knew exactly what to pinpoint to correct not only the pain to get me feeling better immediately, but also gave me various methods to execute at home for long term care. Booked next appointment immediately and will come back every week to ensure my posture stays corrected. Will post again after trying their massage therapy in conjunction.
