Super hip stop whether you're a local or on your way to Mount Rushmore. We stopped here to use the restroom as it's one of the only ones available for miles (and miles and miles). It was dressed in someone of a shabby chic meets Americana decor. There's nice wood accents with corrogated metal and American flags throughout. The staff was incredibly friendly and there's plenty of seating.

The Emporium at Hawk Springs is a great little restaurant & bar. It has greater eats, drinks, live music on occasion, fantastic ambience, great staff, and overall is quite the place to be.

Food was delicious. Service was perfect. Would love to see more on the plate though. I ordered prime rib which came with just one side (potatoes) and my wife ordered a steak which came with only a side salad. It's my belief that a meal should have more than that. Potatoes AND another vegetable it a small salad. Especially considering the price we paid.

A cute little place on the highway. They serve American food. I read about this place in one of the blogs. They have a few vegetarian options on their menu. The waitress was very accommodating. She made a custom margarita for me. We also tried their pecan pie with ice cream and that was the best pecan pie I have every tired. must-go-to spot if you are in the area.

2 in our party. I really enjoyed the burger, my friend was disappointed. I liked the atmosphere and very much enjoyed an alternative to the other place to eat in town. We ate in the bar. It was very drafty, and pretty bitter cold outside, but I'm hot-blooded so I didn't mind. Our burgers seemed to take longer than expected, but I wasn't in a big hurry anyway. Bartender/waitress was friendly, and polite. I think she must have been working the place alone because she was missing while we waited on our food. Overall pretty well above-par for a small-town restaurant. I recommend.

Absolutely delicious burgers. Great service. My 12 yr. Old had the ham and bean soup. She said it was delicious. The slice of watermelon on the side was a nice touch. It made for a memorable part of our family vacation.

My wife and I stopped here on our way from Ft. Collins, CO to Mt. Rushmore and we loved it. I didn't expect a place so remote to be so nice and clean inside, but it was. There's a lot of cool artifacts on the walls and everyone in the restaurant was super friendly. Food was great, would definitely recommend it.

What a rare find in the middle of nowhere! The town census is 45! We enjoyed talking with the local owners, and never enjoyed a better burrito. We will stop again on our return to Denver.

Fast friendly service. Treated me like a local. Had a awesome smoked prime rib, slab sandwich a nice tossed salad with blue cheese crumbles and a Budweiser for $ 18!! Nice clean place. If you are up this way Pheasant hunting in Springer, plan to catch lunch here, you will not be disappointed.

Dinner for three went great. Service was attentive, food was great and atmosphere perfect. The salads we're crispy fresh and flavorful, the soups hot and wonderfully seasoned and the osdo buco pork shank was tender and juicy with a dynamite sauce. This place is high on our list for frequent returns.

This place is the most blessed place in Wy. I drive truck. I happened to have a brand new KW Daycab going to Williston, ND. But the fuel gauge was off. I was running it of diesel. Had 3 kids and their mom with me. It was Hot! I stopped to see if there was any fuel in town.? Big No! So the whole place went out of their way to accommodate us. Even calling three neighboring garage owners. Dave, who was in Torrington 22 miles away getting fuel. Dave said he'd be back to help in about 45 minutes. And together we got new friends and fuel. They also helped another girl who ran out of gas. True hearts here. And Great Food and Service. Bless them all in this town! And a Big Thank You from the Road Crew!

I was ridng through Wyoming and it was raining. Dennis, the proprietor, let me in and hooked me up with coffee even though they weren't open. Great guy, great Vibe. Highly recommended. An Oasis in Southeastern Wyoming!

Ate dinner here with a large group. The meal was fantastic! One of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had. Thick cut, cooked to perfection. Real horseradish, not that creamy wanna be stuff. Waitresses were amazing, attentive and friendly. Had a chance to visit with the owner to hear the crazy story as to how his dream became a reality. This place is a gem that will definitely get more of my money.

I ate here in April of 2017 ... exceptional burgers and service. So good I returned (out of my way) in June of 2018. Again awesome burgers, Pork Chili, and Pecan pie dessert. You've got to stop. Do your taste buds a favor. If you are from Wisconsin mention the Packers and you can draw out some hidden fans there.
