It was a great unexpected surprise. We could have spent all day there. Sadly could only allow a couple of hours. No one wanted to leave. It was such a great find. Would love to go back. It is like 4 museums in one. One just about guns. Husband loved that one.

Loved this place. So much history of the American west. A huge gun collection many from the era of Buffalo Bill. This is a very large facility and can easily take 2 days to see it all. That's why your entrance ticket is good for 2 days. Very nice. There is also lots of art work of the time including paintings and bronzes.

Really neat with a lot to see. They have a live bald eagle to see as well as various falcons and an owl. Their lattes were good and they have various activities throughout for younger kids like coloring or "painting" on a computer.

Outstanding exhibit in association with the Smithsonian. Expect to spend 5 to 6 hours to see most of the exhibit. The gun collection was amazing, probably the best in the world!!

WOW !!! One of the MOST impressive museums of western history I have ever beento, and I have been to a lot !! Was planning to see in 2 hours, but ended up spending the entire day !! Suggest anyone planning a visit to this museum be prepared to spend at least a day going through it....maybe 2 days !! It is that good !! Loved it !! Great staff, awesome displays, good for the entire family !! HIGHLY recommend !!

This museum is awesome. A must see for all ages. Gun enthusiast will love this museum. They have over 6000 weapons with over 3500 on display. Some that i had never seen before. That is just one wing. They tell the whole life of the western life, Native Indians, pony express, wild life and Buffalo Bills life.

This place is big and you need several hours to see the full set of exhibits. Buffalo Bill's exhibit was very thorough and interesting. The gun exhibit was gigantic and we ran out of time. They had gun simulators (had to pay to play), every conceivable model of hand gun and rifle, including experimental, and a detailed history of the fun evolution. We didn't see it, but I also understand there is even a larger store/display in the lower section of the fun exhibit. We didn't have time to see the other exhibits like the Plain Indian one.

New and improved, the center has 5 different sections so the $20 admission Price isn't that much . It took me 2 hours to see 2 . Great gun collection, saw John Wayne rifle. West side of town by other attractions.

Great museum - actually 5 in 1. Gun museum has a great Winchester collection. The Buffalo Bill shows off the Kim Kardashian of the day - lots of self promotion. But he did have some skills unlike Kim.

The firearm portion makes this the icing on the cake as far as the museum goes. We'll worth the price of admission. The tickets are good for 2 days, which may take this long to actually digest everything this place has to offer. This is a must visit if you are near Cody.
