Rockman's catered our wedding of 70 people in Tomahawk. We had a grilled cheese station and taco bar and they were able to make the entire process stress-free. They took care of the champagne and the cake. The initial consult and food sampling was very comprehensive. The staff at the event were prompt and very attentive to our guests. The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Our guests are still raving about the food. They had the best tomato soup I have ever had! I would recommend Rockman's for any event.

I wanted to thank you and your staff again for the amazing service and food last night. My brief interactions with the staff were excellent. They problem solved extremely well when we needed a last gluten free sandwich at the end of the meal when there wasn't much left to make sandwiches, but pulled two great sandwiches together for our guest! The set up and take down was quick and efficient, and my family (the hosts) was extremely impressed with the professionalism and genuine friendliness and enjoyment that your staff exhibited. I got so many compliments about your team and the quality of the food. Everyone got their meal within 45 minutes (so impressive since it was a grilled cheese bar!), pie and ice cream were served efficiently, and the bartender was such a gem. We are lucky to have had you cater our wedding- the communication we had in the months leading up was superb and didn't leave me with any worries, despite me changing my mind about things and then adding quite a few more guests in the last weeks, and the day of the event was obviously excellent. I would recommend you to anyone!

We had a wedding brunch- complete with a waffle bar! Scott did EVERYTHING right.. whatever we asked for was "no problem!" The food was delicious! Staff, prices, everything from the first phone call to the last piece of bacon was top notch!! Thank you for making a special day even better!! :)

The family style dinner at a wedding recently we ran out of food right away because the servers never ONCE stopped back to our table to check on us after dropping off the food. The dirty dishes and serving bowls remained piled up on our table throughout the service of the wedding cake... we had no place on our table to eat our cake! The servers were very rude and indignant when we repeatedly asked for them to clear out table. People were commenting on how horrible the service was, and how disgusting the dirty, piled up dishes left on the tables were. The food was bland and the appetizers were cold... Very disappointing... we heard so many good things about Rockman's before this experience!

The planning process with Scott and Nikki was great for the most part. However the week of and day of execution was terrible. We chose Rockman's because of their strong reputation within the area. Unfortunately, that reputation did not match the lack of service and laziness we experienced at our wedding. We had a number of issues with the bartenders, including them mixing alcohol into the lemonade dispenser and calling it a "Moscow Mule." We were thankful none of the kids got their hands on this drink thinking it was pure lemonade. Additionally, we ran out of food (I even gave them a higher number than RSVP'd), the meat was of poor quality, which you can see in the photo. Many of our guests could not eat the brisket because it was nearly pure fat. On another note, we had guests busing their own tables while the staff just stood there. I had to ask one staff member to take a stack of dishes from the head table. Post wedding, Scott has been very slow to respond to my feedback until I left a review. After kindly removing my first review, he went silent again, so here I am. Overall, I wouldn't use them again for another event unless they could guarantee quality service.

While picking out menus Mr. Rockman is helpful and friendly but that changes once you have paid the bill. In hindsight I see that he holds much too high of an opinion of his food's quality. We made our menu selectons based on Mr. Rockman's suggestions for what were some of his tastiest and well-received items. Come meal time I was overwhelmingly disappointed. The BBQ chicken was tough and dry, the lettuce salad served up in a wad of mush and the watermelon was sliced paper thin. A few of my guests said the chicken was "good" so I'm guessing it is inconsistently grilled. When I let the owner know my disappointments, he never acknowledged my letter, which surprised me after how friendly and personable he had been in the ordering stage.
