Decent selection. Plan on bagging your own groceries. They currently do not staff one begger for each checkout line and this makes the checkout times pretty long. However their 5 for 20 pulled pork makes the wait worth it.

Very nice clean store. Lots of variety of products of all kinds. Employees are very friendly and helpful. A gentleman walked me 4 aisles from his department and showed me the fake meat products I was looking for. The cashier who was a young lady was very nice and speedy. She told us about how coupons could still be redeemed after check out.

Great place to shop for quality items. Favorite are the bakery, cheeses, and meats section. Otherwise there's loads of variety of foods and a couple Badger paraphernalia items. I have 4 starts because you have to be careful and check prices, I've very often found they can be more expensive for the exact same items than Target across the street. Like $0.50 per pizza or labeling sooner things as sale which seem to be at regular price. Otherwise great place to shop

One of the few places that still has customer service. When we visit WI we go to this grocery store. We were stopped at least twice by staff and asked if we needed help, WOW. Try that idea out at some big box store or retail chain? Your lucky if you find anyone to help in most stores today. AND their selection of produce is really good.

The meats are often old. Expired dips. Cheese that molds quickly. Please be very very careful purchasing from here. I try to inform employees when I can about rancid food, but they don't seem to care or resolve the situation. I am still an avid customer, but always double check the products before purchasing.

They will get things in for you if you request them. While staff is friendly and helpful if you really like to cook from scratch and are a real foodie their selection is very poor and overall appears to be picked by a 15yo who microwaves everything and really does not cook. Their hot bar is disappointing and quite terrible. The quality of the meat is a D+ at best. Very tough. Honestly I wouldn't even feed this to a dog. So why would I eat it. I cringe every time I see people eat this stuff. They have an okay produce selection. It is very limited and VERY poorly organized. Their health food selection is very good, but very over priced. Woodmans is far cheaper, but not as good of a selection.

Stopped shopping here. Too many problems. Latest was no worker at the deli. Waited 10 minutes, no one shows up. So yet again, left with out buying anything and a full cart fo them to put back. Just gets tiring that they don't have enough employees. Even ysterday I foolishly stopped for 3 items. Took 5 minutes to get the items, and 15 to stand in line to check out because they just don't have enough cashiers. What is worse, the manager walked past 3 times seeing everyone waiting in the express lane and just didnt care to open a register to help. If you are going to charge a higher price for groceries, then it's expected you will hire sufficient employees. Time is valuable, and a higher grocery price suggest you will not waste it standing around.

Prices aren't the best in town, produce is hit or miss, sometimes you've got to watch your dairy for expired dates, but they are always very friendly and have even stocked specialty tems we've asked about. I enjoy their wellness area so I don't have to hunt for items mixed in with the rest of the store, unlike other bigger stores around.

This review is from a catering/floral point of view as we hired Hyvee to do our catering/dessert/flowers for our wedding. In terms of the meal- it was great. Our guests loved it and it was just what we asked for. The desserts, not so much. We ordered cupcakes and cookies which were great. But, we also ordered 2 pans of brownies that were absolutely CAKED with powdered sugar, so much so they were almost unrecognizable. Some guests thought it was chocolate cake with frosting there was so much powdered sugar, they were barely even touched. In terms of floral; the greenery we ordered, the corsages, the boutineers, and centerpieces were great. What wasn’t great were the colors in my bridesmaid bouquet that were nothing I asked for or discussed with Scott, the floral manager, as we had met with him 2x prior to the day. We pulled out the incorrect flowers and made it work. My bridesmaid bouquests were the most disapppinting, they were the complete wrong colors and didn’t match any of my other flowers at all. It was almost as if the wrong flowers were delivered. We ended up making due with some extra greenery and a guest stopping to buy the correct colored flowers quick because we were short on time once we found the bouquets. We were refunded for most of what we were not happy with, but we would of 100% preferred we received what we ordered and paid for to begin with. It’s upsetting to not receive what you ask for the day of your wedding. But it’s even worse looking back at pictures and wishing I had the bouquets/desserts/cake I discussed and paid for. If I had to do it again I’d pay the extra $ to ensure things were done right.

We always buy more then plan because they have a great selection. The 5 for $20 deals in the meat area are awesome. There's deals up and down every aisle. The produce dept. has an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables, some are already cut up and ready to cook/eat. I will continue going there every week for my family's groceries.

Hy-Vee in Fitchburg catered my wedding this month and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. We used them for the food, cake/cupcakes and flowers. Scott is their head florist and he is the reason for this 5 star review. I really didn't give him any detail besides a few pictures on Pinterest since I'm not that familiar with flowers. He made my wedding prettier than any Pinterest photo out there! He showed up on our wedding day and made the venue come to life. He is truly talented at what he does. Scott played a huge roll in making sure my wedding was the wedding of my dreams! I encourage you do trust Scott with your big day!

Great place to shop for groceries or to grab a bite to eat. Their deli counter is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Any of the food you try here is very good and I typically will come here for lunch if I have a little extra time to sit down and enjoy a larger meal. I recommend the meatloaf when they have it! Decent prices, watch for sales! I often stock up the work coolers with tea and water and a bag of ice after lunch when they're running good deals. Overall friendly, clean and organized grocery store offering quite a bit more than your average grocer.

People in charge play favorites and like to paint a pretty picture for potential employees but once they’re hired they find out the hard way and see it’s all a lie. I would give it a one if I didn’t like their food so much. The service was AWFUL. We came on a Friday night early when it wasn’t even close to busy. The server was terrible. She forgot drinks, food items, water and more. We asked for our daughters milk three times before going to the bar a getting it ourselves. She forgot our drinks as well. She messed up our order too even when three of the six people got the all you can eat bar. We were so disappointed, we never get our and she really ruined our night. Please, get people who care and can handle more than two tables at a time.

The catering department is QUALITY. The food for our Gala was all fresh and artfully prepared. What was ordered hot arrived hot and what was ordered cold arrived cold, and all the spreads were beautiful. Everything tasted amazing and the two gentlemen that took care of things throughout the night, maintained it with friendliness, swiftness, and professionalism. I remember that one was named Brandon and we had a great conversation about beer cheese soup. The other gentleman, David and I talked often during the night because he was so kind and had interesting questions. Thanks to the suggestions of Katie and Mark, there was a perfect amount of food for our guests and nothing ran out until the very end. A perfect service that made for a happy party. Thank you!

Hy-vee is a great place. They have a good variety of produce. The selection of hot food is really good. The orange chicken taste amazing. They have an excellent selection of cheese. The butcher case has a wide variety of meat, twice backed potatoes and stuffed mushrooms. Also the health food area is very big and has just about everything. After the holidays the leftover stuff is clearanced really cheap. The prices are a little high but you do get fuel perks.

Everytime I have called to ask a department a question or place and order via phone I am put on hold and then transferred to a phone that rings and rings. The store is clean, well maintained and spacious. The staff is fantastic; very friendly and helpful. The grocery section offers a good variety of foods, there's a restaurant with an extensive breakfast and dinner/lunch menu. The bakery makes delicious donuts, there are sushi chefs, there's a floral shop with a professional designers.... I am pretty sure that whatever you are looking for hyvee has it. My only complaint is their cleaning supplies section does not carry much variety of laundry detergents in the large "economy" sizes but it's a small issue. Highly recommended otherwise!

Love this hyvee but unfortunately always have issues when I try the delivery service. Otherwise it's my favorite grocery store
