If you're ever around Devil's Lake state park in Wisconsin, this is a place to stop. A retro 50's dinner with fast and courteous staff and great food. The breakfast taco's and the biscuits and gravy are fantastic! Love the atmosphere and the music.

The chicken tenders were hard and overcooked , dry . The fried fish was watery and the breading was crispy but slimy inside. The pineapple in the fruit dish was brownish and old. It tasted bad. Very disappointed since I have always had a good meal here

Would give this place more than five stars if I could! This is a must stop if you're around the Baraboo area. The food was outstanding and the prices were so much lower than anywhere else in the area. My waitress recommended the Southwest Benedict scramble and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Our server was very sweet, and the atmosphere is so cool as it's a restored old 1950s diner. All around fantastic dining experience, will definitely return!

Well from the outside this place looked good to try, but before we could even enter we had to leave. The lady asked us to not take up two end spots with our small trailer, mind you the parking lot had at least 12 more spots open. We were from out of town, hungry and a little understanding would’ve been nice. We found a much nicer and accommodating place called Little Village Cafe.

The fresh chicken strips with potato pancakes we're awesome, the Ruben had a great flavor. I don't like pecan pie but they have the best pecan pie that will keep us coming back! Abby did an amazing job explaining key items on the menu. The entire restaurant was so clean with a great atmosphere from the music to the historical photographs. We will be back and we will be bringing everyone that visits us.

I ordered a portabella omelette and it didn't come with everything that it said it would in the menu. There were no tomatoes or peppers only mushrooms, cheese, and spinach. The eggs tasted fake and we're dry. I was given the wrong toast and my fruit was sour and going bad. Which I was charged more for since I substituted that for the hash browns. When I told my waitress I wasn't satisfied she simply walked away. Very bad first, and last, experience there from the food to the service and the prices are a bit too high. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was really awful followed closely behind by the food. I came in before my friend to check the wait time, and then I told a waitress that I'd be right back in with her. I also relayed the kind of table we'd need, too, to accommodate our needs. We both got in through the side door (where I had entered the first time, and plenty of people were using this door as well...) and a different waitress came up to us. This incompetent woman kept pointing at the front door and demeaning us and our intelligence. She did this by telling us to stand by the front door (which would have been fine on its own), but then had the audacity to read aloud the "please wait to be seated sign" and taking the special time to lean over the counter and point to that sign for us. She wouldn't even let us get a word in edge-wise that we already had a table waiting for us. (This would be confirmed shortly after by the waitress that greeted me originally.) The food was bad. My friend's eggs were streamed and not oil-fried as the menu described. My food wasn't great, lacking flavor overall. The cinnamon roll I took to-go was dry and dense. I never got my hot sauce; we never got refills. This was my first experience at the Broadway Dinner (my friend had been many times before), and it definitely was my last. I would not eat here again or recommend it. On a side note, they could have also done a much better job salting their walking path and wheelchair ramp.

Tiny little diner whipping up a great meal. We were lucky enough to snag two seats at the counter behind the grill and watching the two guys cook was incredible. They were so skilled it was mesmerizing to watch; basically we got breakfast and a show! Quality home cooked diner food.

The food was one of the most important things to us as we were planning our wedding. We wanted something that everyone would love and was as locally sourced as possible and Broadway Diner fit the bill perfectly. We decided to get the fiesta buffet and everyone loved it! I didn’t get as much as I wanted at the wedding, but I’ve been loving the leftovers! We also had a popcorn bar that people couldn’t stop talking about and the desserts (cupcakes, monster cookies, and scotcheroos) were delicious! They were able to make some dairy free ones for me to enjoy as well. The planning was incredibly easy and I didn’t notice any issues with the service, to me it was flawless! I highly recommend Broadway Diner for catering and we will be visiting the diner again and again just for fun because all the food is delicious.

The food here is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Love the classic diner theme; clean; friendly; and decent prices for quality food. If you are driving anywhere near Baraboo, you should make it a point to take a little detour just to eat here.

My 16 month old spilled hot coffee all over herself and was upset and was screaming amd crying and with in minutes i was asked to take her outside or to leave. The service was horrible there weren't napkins and when I asked for a kids cup for the upset baby i was given a cup and lid without a straw. Our family will never go again.

Even though they were busy, the staff kept up with our drinks, order, cooked it well, served it hot, and the food was delicious! I was sitting at the bar right behind the grill, and regularly saw the cook cleaning the grill, keeping scraps off it, keeping food separate, and making room for new items as they were needed. He was a master of his space! Our server was willing to move us to a booth when one became available, and remembered to ask when it did, but we were having too much fun at the bar! ^_^

Wow! I was highly impressed for it being such a small place. And it was packed to the brim! But we were seated within about 10 minutes and they get the food out to you very quickly...and its excellent! Corn beef hash is homestyle, with larger chunks of potato and corn beef brisket. Eggs done perfectly to order and everyone seemed in a fairly good mood considering how busy it was. Super cute place to stop at for breakfast and lunch.

There seemed like a lot of people were in front of us (4 groups), but they seated us in three minutes! The food was good, the coffee was better than most diners, and the staff was incredibly nice. Parking can be a bit tough on the weekends, so be prepared to park on the street.

The Broadway Diner is stupendous beyond belief. Even if they served awful food, the people there alone would make it worth the visit. Everyone is so friendly and so nice and so unassuming that you can't help but feel at home. On top of that, there's the food. Always go with an appetite and always order with abandon. And be sure to get a t-shirt that says "Gourmet hash in a Flash" on the front and "Body by bacon " on the back. Every one of your friends will envy you

My husband and I were out for a ride and enjoying the brisk weather. We had a decent brunch here. The diner has a retro feel. You can watch the food being prepared in front of you. It is clean and the staff is friendly. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with cream cheese frosting and a side of bacon. The cinnamon roll was burned on the bottom not terribly but still. My husband had the corned beef hash. He said it was decent. We ended up spending $25 with a soda and coffee as well. Their prices are comparable to other places in the area. I would definitely go here again.

Quaint diner in the NJ diner style. I had the shaved prime rib smash burger with fries and my wife had the turkey artichoke sandwich with coleslaw. Both were very delicious. The wait staff was attentive. They do need to buy somw new plastic glasses, mine was badly chipped on the rim.

Perhaps the best quality breakfast spot I've found in the area. Service is warm and friendly and the food is better than any other places I've tried. The Portuguese corn bread with jalapeno jelly was fantastic. The chocolate malt was perfect, not too sweet not syrupy, thick enough with just the right balance of malt. It's worth stopping for the malts alone. Some healthy breakfast options too which is nice.

I have gone here about 10 times! Mind you i am a numbers person. Of the ten times i have went my bill was different 8 of those times. I order the same exact thing every time. Food is great!!! Service is sound. None of the staff can get the pricing correct. They tell me the same thing about the pricing. Its a new button. My bills range from 7.24 to 8.94. Also i am told, "well i have worked here since the beginning i know how to ring in your order." But week and half later i go back... same waitress... different price!!!!

Does not place paper under food in take out orders. This causes the food to melt the styrofoam container to melt on the food, also causing juices to leak into car.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday just before noon, the diner was busy but we were greeted and seated immediately by their friendly staff. Our order was taken and delivered promptly. It is definitely pretty loud when busy but a festive atmosphere. I had the Ruben sandwich with fries, my dining partner had the Mac & cheese/pulled pork sandwich with broccoli salad. The portions were good, the food was hot and fresh. I didn't care for the broccoli salad, raisins, almond slivers and a sweet cream sauce wasn't for me. Everything else was great, I would recommend to a friend and we will be returning. Only wish they were open later, I don't get to town that often before 3pm.

Im giving it a 3. The food was great as usual but our waitress wasn't very friendly. A warm smile and an inviting personality goes a long way. Simple fixes of a check seemed of annoyance to her(that still wasn't correct, so we just took it upon ourselves to hand out cash to one another to make up differences of a check.) Or how she waited until after our meals were gone to refill drinks or check in on how the food wasn Maybe she was just having an off day. We will be back since their food is one of our family's favorite.
