Amazing food and by far the nicest people you could want to do business with! They let me sample everything they had and it was all amazing! The gumbo was out of this world. Highly recommend the mac n cheese and the hash brown casserole. The sausages are homemade and definitely a favorite. Give these folks a try, you will not be disappointed!

Not the very best Ambiance... But you will quickly forget all about that when you taste the food. Absolutely the best brisket this side of Texas. They give new visitors free samples of everything. Christian owned business that tries to be honorable in the food that they make, price that they charge, and how they treat the customer

The Best in Town- the name changed but the food is the same. Excellent service and Daily Specials I would eat everyday. Owned and Operated by the same Owners & attention to my sweet tooth on those mint brownies. Thank you, I will be back!

First time eating there...had been recommended very highly....IT WAS GREAT. There were 3 of us...we all had different meals and everything was wonderful. The ladies working there were especially extra nice. I will return and also recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal.

Got a $6 smoked chicken salad, salad not sandwich, and a diet Pepsi and was charged $12 and some change. I know the tax wasn't that much and I highly doubt the drink was either not sure how it added to that. On top of that my salad had a hair in it. Tried calling 8 times to try and see how it was that much no one ever answered. I feel like I got ripped off.

Best BBQ I have found in WV and I travel a lot for my job. Not just BBQ place as their menu has many offerings. Philly cheese steaks, chili, meatloaf, chicken dumplings etc. One thing that sets this place aside from others is the amazing side dishes. Most BBQ places will throw you a bag of chips and pickle but give the smoked Mac and cheese a try here. The menu is always changing so there are many reasons to continue to come back. The staff and owners are some of the nicest people you will meet and make you feel like family everytime you dine in. Stop by and try this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic family style restaurant! Brisket and ribs are amazing! (especially on the Texas toast) The best smoked meats we’ve tasted. The sides are like none other. Brisket in the baked beans and they are seasoned perfectly with just enough kick. The mac-n-cheese is one of a kind. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The desserts are great as well but we have to confess it’s rare we have room for them.

Having read the reviews and having met the family that’s running the place, I feel that my food experience was a “one-off”. So I will give a neutral rating. Staff/Service - 5 stars Food - 1 star Place is a dive. Came in at 11:08 Saturday morning and we were the only customers in but they were very busy. Advanced orders were stacked on most of the dining tables. Found out Marshall was having their Homecoming game and most of the orders were for tailgating customers. They were putting together orders or double checking orders to make sure everything ordered was all there. The staff was super friendly and accommodating even though they were not ready for customers dining in. Had to clear a table to sit us. Should have left then but was really craving barbecue and I knew they’re closed on Sundays. Ordered the sampler (Brisket, Ribs & Smoked wings w/ mac n cheese & chicken n dumplings) and this is where it went downhill. Look at the photos of the plate, it didn’t look appetizing, smoked wings were tough n chewy. The ribs were okay, rub had good flavor just maybe a tad heavy handed on the cinnamon/cocoa. Brisket was tender and was flavorful. My main issue was, aside for the sides, the food was cool, not cold (you know that temp where you take food out of the fridge and heat it up in the microwave but not long enough to get hot?). The steaming smoked wings photo was straight from the microwave. They looked good but imagine how smoked wings taste after being nuked to steaming level, not good :( I have to mention that their chicken n dumplings is great!! Best one I’ve had in all my travels. Bottom line is that I believe it was a one-off experience and I will come back to give them a try again. Super friendly people and very accommodating, one lady even gave us samples of their dessert. But I will turn around and leave if I don’t see any smoke coming from the smokers - not a good sign.
