Food seems pretty good. Service is slow. Granted we had a big party, but it took an extra half hour for half of our table to get food. The place also needs a bit of TLC. However, I'd say it's probably the best place in teays valley. I'll be back.

My filet mignon was raw and cold Strike 3 I've been to fireside about 10 times and have been unsatisfied more often than I've been satisfied the last time I called to place a pick-up order I was placed on hold... Forever. I showed the manager on duty (Marc) my cell phone that was Still on hold. Absolutely ridiculous

Just came here for the first time tonight. The service was fantastic considering how busy they clearly were. Eating the food now and it's wonderful. Best Reuben I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back next time I come through this area. I don't know what they did with this sandwich, but they nailed it. Amazing.

The service is good but be careful when ordering. While my family's orders were good, except for the walleye...not very good, cold with a tiny amount of rice that seemed to be leftover from the day before...my order was wrong and then the waiter is surprised I want it remade??? Yes of course I do I am hungry sooo. This errror occurred when the place was virtually empty?? Anyway a mixed bag at best overall then it went downhill quickly. The server was different who brought my sandwich out and it was delicious however the attitude that came with it I could live without. Add to that the obnoxious church crowd that came in and destroyed what was an otherwise peaceful meal. Once they arrived we were forgotten.

We visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The dining room didn't seem particularly busy. There was only one hostess working to seat patrons & to answer the phone to take to go orders. We stood & waited for at least 15 minutes while the hostess answered call after call to take to go orders. While we were waiting, a crowd of waiting patrons began to accumulate. My husband finally asked her again if we could get seated, & told her that more than 20 people were waiting to be helped, besides us. She rolled her eyes & sighed heavily, & finally got around to seating us. Once seated, we were waited on by Zach (we got Van Dam'd), who was delightful. The food was really good, but the hostess service was definitely less than stellar.

Im giving 4 stars because ive ate here before and they did waaay better. Deviled eggs werent. Thats what i wanted. Out of crabcakes and those awesone pretzels. The steak however was awesome, the mac and cheese... Could have done myself in microwave. I know you can do better. Ive ate here before. However staff was friendly and apologetic. Please step back up to your potential.

Great place, house made blue cheese is amazing, in love with their big azz pretzel cant decide which is my favorite sauce. The wings bone- in are good, I would order them well done next time a little too soft for my liking and their mac-n-cheese is really good

Great food all around.. Would give it 5 stars if they layered their nachos better. It is worth noting that I saw the worst plate of brisket I've ever seen served anywhere come out of this kitchen. That was once out of 40+ other meals, though. I'd avoid that dish and you're golden.

We had gone to Barboursville to car shop and on way home we passed by Teays Valley. Stopped at FSG to have dinner. It was around 7:30ish when we stopped. They were not as busy as it appeared from the parking lot. We were immediately sat and had a waitress come to great us within minute. Drinks were out quickly and our order was in. The only complaint is that for as slow as the restaurant was, service for the main food order was slow. We had two adult sandwiches and a kids mini cheeseburger. Took way too long. Food was good though! Overall, not a great visit but not bad either. It just sort of just, was what it was.

Everything was exceptional from the moment we were seated until we left. The waiter was one of the nicest and most attentive I have had in months. He checked in on us often but didn't always stop if he saw we were eating and drinks were full. The 2 pepperoni rolls were the best we have ever had. The marinara sauce was flavorful and chunky. The side salad was the size of some normal salads in other restaurants. Pictured is the apple salad with chicken. Flavorful and huge as you can see by the fork standing up in the back for reference. I wish we lived close enough to eat there every week.

Place was busy. That's good. Didn't have to wait that long. Checked out the menu and recommendations from waitress. Had a few in mind. Decided to go with Philly Cheese steak. Different cheese which seemed interesting. Cheese didn't really make a difference than regular taste of cheese. $8.99. Ok, restaurant price. Had a few of those subs before at other establishments. Rate this one about a 2. Kicker was they up charged me for fries instead of house chips I didn't realize. For that price who cares, either one should come with the sandwich. Staff good. Food and prices not so much.

I spent $30 for 3 hamburgers and fries she was a Hamburgers on what they said was Texas toast what look like was a little thick bread that was barely popped in a toaster and toasted in a restaurant of that type it should have been a French type Texas toast buttered on both sides and grilled but it wasn't it was a piece of bread put in the toaster lightly toasted the fries were just not edible at all there was not have the ingredients on the hamburgers that we ordered they sent the extra ingredients so we had to put them on ourselves if I wanted to put that stuff on myself I would have cooked but the overall experience was just not good at all I probably will not come back that's the third time I've been there and the food was just absolutely awful

There Thursday night. Food was great but we felt rushed us the waitress brought our appetizer. Then salads and our meals came right behind. There is a protocol to serving meals at the slower pace that should be followed. We did not go there for fast food, but relax and enjoy the meal. Waiters and waitresses need to ask the question about pace of serving meals to the customer. Maybe some training from the owners on how to do this. Thanks

They just don't have good food overall, my experience wasn't very good, bones in my philly, no flavor at all, bun was good though, the chips are just okay, kinda burnt... I think the salads need revamped, the cajun pasta was good but I don't think it's cajun, tasted like taco seasoning....

It was okay. We were seated quickly. Drink orders were taken and delivered, but we had to ask for straws and then were only given 3 for a party of 4. Food orders were taken. At our request, bread was delivered to the table and salad came. But, no silverware, plates, or napkins for over 5 minutes. Finally flagged a hostess down for these things, who then asked how many while looking at the 4 of us. Food was mediocre. I asked for my sauce on the side, but that was not done. Chicken philly sandwich that my husband got was unremarkable. Prime rib sandwich that my brother in law got was overcooked. My sister liked her chicken salad. We won't go back.

I love this place! On my last visit to see family I stopped here for a burger. The service was great! The home made kettle chips that came with my burger were crisp, thick and tasted like a real potato chip (not the packaged stuff). The burger was out of this world. The bun was tasty and the burger patty was smoky, juicy and tender. I would easily put this burger above anything that I have had in San Francisco or LA!!

My coworkers and I love coming here, appetizers are all very good especially the Cajun tuna bites. If you want a good steak for a decent price this place is great. I also recommend they're Gouda Mac n Cheese and loaded baked potato as sides. Honestly bits the best bakes potatoe I've ever had in a restaurant

If one has a pallet then one should listen to the negative reviews. They do assemble a good probably purchased salad and they certainly can reheat purchased bread sticks. I had the Cajun pasta. My mistake was not reading the menu and thinking it was truly cajun pasta Chicken shrimp and andouie sausage are the proteins of Cajun pasta. Chicken is the only protein you get here I can live with that, but what the deal breaker is its blandness flavor. What little cajun flavor there is is nothing more then some sprinkled in dry generic mix that was added to the end of the mixing process just before serving instead of slowly cooking it into the sauce. This was the first time visiting this place and will definitely be the last. The bartender gets two stars I gave this plsce the food a negative 2. Mark

WORST dining experience by far. Have ate here several times service is terrible, food is is even worse. Food was burnt and server was reassuring that it was “fine” well considering they aren’t eating it they should be there to please the customer who is paying. We also have tried takeout orders here and the service is even worse than dining in. We were told food would be ready in 20-25 minutes nearly 40 minutes later our food was still not ready. If I could give a negative star rating I would.
