Best smoked wings in town! Don't even need to put sauce on them. The all you can eat catfish is delicious, and we are not big fans of catfish. Their menu offers a wide selection at a great value. This is a great locally owned restaurant you need to try.

We ate there on our way to the Band competition at M T University the food was very good and fresh. My grandson got to play with the Blue Devils Band and they won the competition I was so proud of them. Eating there was very good luck, next time we are in town we will be back. Patricia martin

I was very surprised with the food this time. The pork was very dry and did not seem to have any taste to it. The only reason I give it 1 star is because of the tea, it was great!!!

If it's crowded, grab you a table before you order. Then go to the counter and order. Everything is great, but the pork BBQ is the masterpiece.

Ordered through grub hub my first time eating here the pulled pork was good but left something to be desired which seems to be a trend at many of the bbq restaurants I’ve tried in the area , maybe I’m just to picky! That being said I would return here just based on price and convenience.

One word....AMAZING! The food was spectacular and the customer service in this place is the best I've ever received. The girls at the front counter on the dine-in are wonderful. They are so helpful, kind, and funny! All the girls at the registers offered to let me sample things, gave me their honest opinions, and were willing to answer all my familys questions. This was so refreshing since most places now a days have awful customer service. Even though they had a line out the door, they were still so friendly and had smiles on their faces. When my family finished eating, the girls walking the resturant offered to take our plates out of our way and told us thank you for coming. Thank you Slick Pig! We will be back!

Best family size bang for ur pockets meals around especially on the weekends with the kids or spouse , nice and courteous ppl , great deals , might wanna go there at a decent time tho the place be packed like sardines in a can at times. Took three ppl to eat and spent only a little over $45

Food is good but i was not happy to see the guy serving the catered meal with 1 glove. Which he used for opening boxes and serving food. The lady serving was about to pass out from the heat and gave a snotty look when serving a thimble size portion of potatoe salad

I want y'all to know I'm the person that came in today to look at the ribs before I bought them. I love ribs and have been disappointed in some well known restaurant chains and ribs aren't cheap! I've got to say the slick pig delivered! They were as awesome as you promised. I like the st Louis style sauce. And one more big thumb up YOU AREN'T ON THE PARKWAY !

Brisket was spot on. 5 stars for the meat. 3 stars for the Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Just average on those 2 sides. Definitely worth the stop if your in the area. Atomsphere is great.

Went to new place in Smyrna. Ordered the brisket plate. It was cold like just came from refrigerator. Was to get garlic toast it was just white bred with butter. Took it back came our after and was tough and barely warm. Will not go back

Moved to the area last year and had not got the chance to try it out. I have had the privilege to become acquainted with the owners recently so they gave us a free meal. My husband and I went out on a date night and enjoyed our meal. Great food, atmosphere and service. Definitely will be going back soon. The owners are first class people in every way.

Slick Pig is good. Is it great? Maybe. The pulled pork is pretty good. Honestly, the smoked turkey is probably my favorite thing on the menu. Full of flavor including telling they brined it the right way. Sides are pretty decent. Smoked wings are fantastic. Only deducting a star for the MAGA gear discretely behind the register. If I see that, I tend to think you're probably a little racist deep down inside.

This place is phenomenal but I went to their new location here In Smyrna. The staff is friendly with a homey feeling, and the food is super delicious. Get the #3 and I recommend the Mac&Cheese. The brisket was super tender as it should be and I can’t wait to go back to try something else. Only thing missing now is a jukebox full of country music’s greats.

I just moved here in May but so far this is the best pulled pork I have had in Murfreesboro. The choice of sauces are great to.

My family ate this at an event and it was terrible. The slaw had no dressing in it, the mac and cheese was mushy, and the banana pudding tasted ruined. I do not recommend them.

We have recently moved to the area and have been checking out the local joints. At first I thought the prices a tad high, but when we got the orders home, we were surprised by the portions. Great flavors and quality. We cant wait to go back to try other menu items.

I know they’re known for their wings, and most reviews focused on them, but I’m a brisket fan, so I started with the brisket plate for my first visit. It was really tender, good flavor. I’m a fan! I tried the mild sauce and the mop sauce. Both were good. Baked beans were really good too - very tasty. Atmosphere is good - clean, lots of good conversation, a couple of TVs playing sports, etc. Notice I said my first visit. I will absolutely be back to try the wings. Great choice!

Pretty much full when we got there. Good food and plenty of it. Lotsa room but it does fill up. Food is very good. You order at the counter and they bring it out, works good. I've eaten here year after year and time after time they have the best smoked wings I've ever had. Also a great christian company! We had a luncheon at work. We called the day before to put our order in. They had all the food ready to go when we arrived.

Slick Pig has the best BBQ in the Murfreesboro area. Their ribs, pulled pork, and smoked wings are amazing. With Middle Tennessee having some of the best BBQ choices in the state, I would rank Slick Pig as the best of the bunch. We will be back.

This is a place you can sit and have the best barbecue or wings in town or order take out and pick up on side of restaurant. Once you’ve tasted smoked wings you probably won’t want to go back to the tomato based sauced ones. The slaw, potato salad and beans are ALL good. Try Slick Pig today!

Wings were to die for! The hickory smoke used on the wings really brought out a unique flavor I haven't had with wings before. Sides were also a major plus! I had potato salad and fried okra, both of which perfect perfect, I would be happy to order them again. The fried Catfish was also fantastic which I highly recommend with the Vinegar bbq sauce. On the other hand, and the reason I'm giving Slick's four stars, the other meats (ribs, brisket, baked beans) were good, but not as flavorful as the other menu items. The ribs were tasty, but a bit over cooked and the brisket just didn't hold the smoke flavor as strong as it needed and grew cold quickly. The baked beans, we were told, had some of the brisket in them, but they tasted very sweet rather than savory. All in all I would gladly go back, but I will stick with the wings.

Definitely a must try. I wasn’t going to review it until I went more then once. I do believe adding dry rub to the wing selection will indeed take it to the next level. If you ever want some good BBQ get on over to slick pig!

This is how BBQ should be done. We buy the tailgate special and add another pound of BBQ and buns. The flavor is very unique and reminds me of sitting in front of the fire on a Autumn evening with the smell of wood burning and meat slowly cooking.

Very good food! We ordered a fish combo with fries, pulled pork with slaw and fried bologna sandwich, along with some skins and the food was amazing! The BBQ sauce was loose and flavorful like I like it. The slaw was slaw-tastic! The hosts was very informative and happy to service us. Overall great experience.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch with a friend at the world famous Slick Pig. The restaurant is rustic and very clean. You order at the counter and serve yourself drink. The staff brings your food to you. I had the wings and they were delicious. My friend enjoyed the barbecue sandwich and fries- he enjoyed it.

Both my boyfriend and I were really excited to eat here and heard good things about this place. Ordered two BBQ Smoked Chicken plates. The chicken was highly disappointing. Tasted like sponge, we’ve never genuinely tasted chicken this bad. Fried okra and onion rings were good, Mac and cheese was decent. You’re honestly better off going to Chick Fil A for good chicken. Didn’t try anything else but go at your own risk.

Smyrna location- worst meal ever. My kiddos chicken tenders were extremely crispy and hard on the outside but the inside was partially raw. The wings was so dry I couldn’t eat them, tasted like they had been sitting all day. The rest of the family got bbq sandwiches they couldn’t even eat them because they didn’t drain the juice from the meat, so the bottom of the bun was so soggy it couldn’t be picked up.

Can’t beat it. Good prices. Good food. Friendly atmosphere. This is where locals eat. Thankfully we got there before the saturday evening after church rush when the line went out the door for half an hour. The service wasn’t slow...it was just that many families.

It’s been on “the list” of must try BBQ. Cool place, off the beaten path. Counter service with indoor/outdoor seating. They also have a separate entrance /counter for larger by the pound to-go orders. They have a large variety of BBQ. Today we tried the Brisket sandwich which was very good. The staff is nice, but it does get crowded and busy which can lead to some miscommunication... slice meat instead of chopped, no cups for drinks with meals, etc. but all was made right. It was definitely worth the trip.
