It is a tradition of my family to always visit the restaurant when we are in Chattanooga visiting relatives. The Barbecue is succulent. The side items are fantastic. The service is top-notch. The restaurant is clean and neat. Plenty of room for large families to gather, speaking of family, VERY family friendly. The menu is awesome and has enough items and selections to accommodate a lot of diversity from just beef or pork. Again, my family loves this place. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love, love, love this place. Always friendly staff, happy to help you select the right amount of food for to go orders if you're feeding a bigger crowd, they even bring it out to your car for you. Dining in is great too, excellent service, fantastic food, some of the best bbq around. There's two locations in town, both are equally good.

The stuffed potatoes were awesome like always nice and hot were the cheese and butter could be added and actually melt and the potatoes were still good and warm and tasty to eat.. We absolutely loved our waitress not sure what her name was but she was a younger blonde girl with plenty of energy and very,very kind and attentive to our needs keeping our drinks full at all times etc. She was a awesome waitress and we need more like her in every restaurant.....

Service is a hit or miss. The service can be refreshing at times. They are pleasant to talk to and seem like they genuinely care about your dining experience. Very few could care less. Food is reasonably priced and good BBQ. They always decorate for the seasons, even ones like fourth of July and Thanksgiving. A good place for large groups. P.S. ask for Julie as your waitress.

I phoned in my order of pork bbq with side orders or cole slaw and fried okra. I went through the drive through window to pick it up and although there were several cars in front of me I didn't have to wait too long. The lady working the window was very friendly and had a great attitude :) The bbq was good and came with a sauce that's more on the sweet side, I liked it and my sister loved it, I added a little more vinegar and some hot sauce to mine to give it a little more bite. The fried okra was very good and the Cole slaw was ok, it was a little bland for my taste but again my sister loved it, to each his own I guess lol All things considered I will eat here again and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to satisfy their bbq craving :)

Was extremely hesitant at first having been disappointed by all the "wanna be" BBQ places in the area. Was not disappointed at all by Rib and Loin. Food to price ratio was excellent, the BBQ didn't have the burnt after flavor that is what you get at allot of other places. The sauce was thick and creamy with a robust flavor, not watered down and thin. The fried Okra is to die for. I didn't get to eat it, but my wife and grandson loved the banana pudding. When we pulled in for lunch, the staff went above and beyond to get our food to us since we were on shift and subject to getting an emergency call without sacrificing service to the other customers. This will be my BBQ choice from here on out.

Have tried to eat here several times, each time I am reminded of why I don't come here more often. The meat, no matter what it is, has no flavor. Adding sauce doesn't help. Good BBQ shouldn't need to swim in sauce.

It had been a long time since I'd eaten at the Rib & Loin, years in fact because I had moved out of state. When I lived here before I thought they were some of the best barbecue in Chattanooga. And, after my recent visit I was happy to see that that their pursuit of great barbecue hasn't faded. The meat was tender and with a great smoky flavor. I highly recommend the Rib & Loin if you need a good BBQ fix.

There is such a relaxed atmosphere here that allows you to digest their delicious bbq and sides at your own pace. You get to savor each bite. I always ask for a table by the fire, and you should too. Rib and loin makes for a great lunch date with your bestie, or a special night out with your honey. Portion sizes are on the large side so bring an appetite!

Dirty, old and out-dated building and very badly decorated with fake xmas trees in April! Bland food with no flavor. Very disappointed. Tried three different meats (ribs, pulled pork and beef) all dry and bland. Only way to stomach was lots of bbq sauce. Super fast service which left us wondering HOW we got our food so fast (was it sitting out already?) Received with in 2-3 minutes of ordering. Server asked how it was and I was honest. She was nice but didn't seem to care. We will never go back.

Yuk. Wasted my money on the 1 lb rib dinner. The ribs were dry and bland, beans and slaw also bland. The Texas toast wasn’t toasted. The fried okra was over cooked. It’s pretty bad if I only eat half. I hope the dogs enjoy it.

The food is fantastic... Wow, I had the wings, the chilli fries, and a pulled pork plate. All of it was so very good. They do the cheese sauce on their chilli cheese fries, which I'm not a big fan of, but it's still quite good! Completely recommend.

My friend and I had a nice lunch. We had great service and the wait staff was very nice We ordered the salad and it was very fresh. The plates were nice and cold. The steaks we're cooked to order. All and all we had a very nice visit to Rib and Loin Hixson.
