Best smoked wings you'll ever get. I say this with great conviction. I've had my fair share of smoked wings and they're either too dry, or just not flavorful. Not Prater's! I don't know how they season their wings but they sure pack some flavor. They are beyond juicy which is why they're the best. Most smoke wings are dry, these are not. Also, the ribs are so delicious. Smack ya across face good. Might I add that their potato salad is the bees knees? Now, where I come from, potato salad is something that can make or break you, I think they nailed it. I travel along I-24 all the time so my family and I like to stop every chance we can to get some grub and head back to Nashville. Please go. You will not be disappointed.

Trivia night but it was SO LOUD you couldn't even understand the questions! We couldn't wait to get out of there. The food was ok, not great but ok.

Ate dinner at Prater's last night. Brisket was good. My pulled pork was dry but good. Sides items tasty. The fried pickles delicious. We arrived at 5:15 seated quickly. Quickly starting getting crowded so glad we arrived when we did.

Good stop for lunch off of the interstate highway. Brisket sandwich was very good. My companion had a burger which was also good. There is an option for a low priced counter service meal, but we ordered from the regular menu, The only downside was the service. It was obvious two of the waitresses were fighting about something, and that seemed to effect the quality of service for everyone in the restaurant. Our service was very slow, but reading other reviews, that does not seem normal.

Food is good and good portions. They do put onion in many of the pasta and potato salads and the hashbrown casserole. I personally hate onion, This makes ordering a little bit different for me, but their food is good. The ladies who work here are friendly. The sweet tea is fantastic.

Delicious! We stopped here on a road trip and was able to have our dog eat with us outside on the patio. We got the sampler (not on the menu) and had a variety of BBQ to try. The owner stopped by and was very friendly. Its a great local joint with amazing food & lots of different options. The salad bar is fantastic as well.

Tonight wasnt the best. The baked potato we ordered was over baked and it replacement wasnt any better. Service was slow as our drinks were empty more than they were filled. When we asked the server next to us if she could find our server she was real snappy and said she told our server we needed her. She could have asked if she could help us but it didnt appear their servers work as a team together. It seemed they were content serving the bingo crowd instead. This will be the last time we go there for a little while at least.

this place is legit. Group of 6 were in town from Murfreesboro for a ballgame. stopped by here on the way home and we each got something different. All of it was on point. we actually make it a priority to stop here when down this way

The catfish I ordered wasn't fresh. It didn't have a good smell and the wait time to get the food took 45 minutes fries were cold so it had to been sitting back there for quite some time never eating there again they really need to learn how to look for fresh catfish. The server was friendly but everything else was terrible.

This is by far the best bbq place in town. It’s very flavorful. When you’ll first sit down and look at the menu, you might be outraged by the prices. As soon as the food gets to the table, you will definitely change your mind. They have big portions. An appetizer here feeds about 3-4 people. The pulled pork alone is a show stopper. Some days they have live music, which is very relaxing. The wait staff is always more than happy to see guests come in. I have never caught an attitude from anyone here. They’re all friendly and professional.

If you like good home cooking then you have to stop in here. Trust me you will NOT regret it. Everything they have is delicious. And the customer service is above and beyond! I would give them 10 stars if it was an option. It may be a little more than cost of fast food but the portions and home cooked recipes is worth every penny.

We drove from the Caverns Saturday show to have a bite to eat here. Food was great. We over ate on barbecue and still stuffed their banana pudding down. Very good service from our entertaining waitress. No wait but we didn't get their till 8.

Wasn’t impressed at all with the quality of the barbecue. I ordered a basic barbecue chop with sweet potato fries and ranch beans. The sweet potato fries had an awful taste to it. The beans were good. But I would never go back to Prater’s although the service and the waitress was outstanding

Right off "I24" that runs right threw manchester exit 110. Best BBQ, Ribs, and SMOKED wings for miles and miles!! Regulars are awesome, friendly staff (ask for Dawn). Must eat for my carnivores that love a cold beer with their meal. Family friendly. Live music on friday and Saturday's (spring and summer) Stage outside with plenty of picnic table seating.

Excellent service in this venerable establishment definitely frequented by locals. Brisket with sides featured plenty of meat. Sides green beans fries less exciting. Still a bargain at $8.99. Lot of other menu options

The beef brisket was good. The rest of everything was served room temperature & was not very good. The green beans were meh. My husband's french fries were gross, served room temperature, you could tell they had been fried and sitting there for a long time.

Food in the Manchester location has went down hill. Not to mention my son ordering catfish that wasn't properly cooked and had to be sent back, luckily he realized it before eating to much of it. However the staff was great even, helped my son win an animal out of the claw machine!

The brisket is the best meat they offer, in my opinion, but I didn't care for either of their sauces. The ribs I ordered were tender, but not even warm when served! And they had little bits of bone to sift out--not fun. The potato salad and coleslaw could both use more flavor.

My wife and I stopped in on a whim. Only to be delighted with a fresh hot order of Happy Hour 1/2 price Pork Rinds and a scrumptious sampler platter of yummy goodness. We didn't ask for the wings to have wing sauce so they were a little dry but still very tasty over all. Our server Tori was quite attentive. We give this BBQ joint 2 thumbs up for the music choices. My wife devoured the ribs and only shared 1 bite with me. I totally see why she went gaga over them. I liked the brisket and pork sandwich. I personally liked that there were not a ton of TVs so we could focus on the food and each other.

Friendly wait staff and good food, but not the best barbecue I've had. My husband liked his pulled pork, but the beef brisket I had was mostly fat rather than meat. I would eat here again, but would most likely order something different next time.

We were disappointed. We had pulled pork plates, the meat was cooked well but it was too moist. The baked beans were very watery, and the coleslaw had too much mayonnaise for my liking. The sauce is a very thin. Friendly staff and quick service though.
