Terrific hotdogs and hamburgers. Totally tasty hamburger steak, as well. All of their meat comes from a local butcher is why it's so good. Friendly staff, as well, so that even if you have to wait for a minute, you don't mind because of the attitudes and the chill atmosphere

We stopped for breakfast, the food was good. The lady behind the cash register was coughing into her hand, and proceeded to whpe her nose with her hand after she took my debit card. I took my card back with the corner of my sleeve. We just moved to Lafollette, we will not be back to Katie's restaurant, dirty habits .

My favorite place in the world to eat! Then again Katie is my momma so I've always loved her cooking. I will say this and im honestly not saying this because it's my mom because you can ask anyone that knows her and they will tell you the same thing, but my mom is the hardest working person you will ever meet and she will treat you just like family when you walk through the door at her restaurant whether she's known you your whole life or is just meeting you for the first time. My mom is a great person who loves her job and her customers and takes pride in what she does. So if you're in town or in nearby towns and want to take a little drive to get a bite of homemade, great southern food then please stop in and meet my momma and you'll get to see first hand why she's been in business 40 years and why im honored to say she's my hero and my best friend and why she's not only loved so much by me but also by everyone that knows her. God Bless each and every person that this message lands upon and thank you for being part of our small town family.

I have been here twice now. Once a year ago. I enjoyed the experience each time now. Staff are very tentive to your needs. I always had a full cup of liquids, water and spirte. The food was hot and striaght from the grill. Made to order. Best part. The ATV special was great balance of bacon to burger ratio. Fries were lava hot, splash of ketchup, and they were ready to eat.

This restaurant is one of Lafollette's hidden treasures! The atmosphere and decor is fabulous! The food is just awesome. The prices are very reasonable. Also a good variety on the menu. Service is the best. I highly recommend you eat there as often as possible.

Very disappointing, we have heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it last Saturday. My husband stopped to ask their hours because there was nothing posted on the door or window. He was told around 6 or 7 that evening. So he came back to pick me up and we parked and starting walking up to the door but before he reached for the for the door a RUDE young lady flew out and stated we are already closed for the day. This was right before 5 o'clock how embarrassing it was for him. We were starving and had to wait a little while to eat because we had to wait on his mother to get home so we could take her a plate to eat for supper. But no worries, we will not be back. We were lied to and had a rude experience all in one establishment. We didn't even make it inside, I hope they treat others better than they did us. I think that was enough for one day, such a shame. Ruined our day.

Katie's is a wonderful small city, downtown restaurant in the heart of La Follette. Food is delicious and very reasonable price wise. There is old fashioned live entertainment on Fridays and some Saturdays. The music isn't very loud, and the musicians are extremely welcoming to newcomers, or even audience members who want to sing. This restaurant is always full of good, down to earth people. You should definitely give it a shot!
