Cole slaw not exceptional. Fried green beans over cooked. Six oz sirloin steak was right on the money. We had the 2 for $25 special. Country fried steak was cooked fine, and tasted good, but was not very large. Atmosphere okay, noting special.

First time eating here. The waitress was awesome. But the steak I ordered was burnt black. Had to scrape all the char off before I could eat it. The steak was $20 and could not eat it cause the taste of it being scorched. The potato was 3/4 cooked. The salad was all lettuce, and a cucumber.

Came based on reviews and place did not disappoint. Come early for prime rib because this weekend sold out. Portions are generous. Wife and I shared a meal. Loaded potato soup, fried potato’s & onions were outstanding.

I gave the Colorado Grill a five star review even though we waited at least a half hour to get in. But we were told when we entered that it would be that long so we had no problem with that. We are glad that we waited! Upon entering you'll see the host / hostess straight ahead, benches to the right and in front of you for seating while you wait, and a very large moose on the left hand side. We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were all bustling around and other diners were chatting at their tables but it was not overly loud. We were approached very quickly for our drink orders and given menus along with silverware, napkins and appetizer plates. Our waitress, Destiny, did a great job of taking our order and our wait time was not that long considering how busy they were. We were brought two tasty small loaves of bread along with butter to enjoy while we waited for our appetizer. We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. They rated right up there with some of the best fried green tomatoes we've ever had. I had a 6 ounce sirloin steak, a baked potato and a side salad. Everything about my meal was delicious. My husband had a cheeseburger, fries ( which he requested be cooked well done and they were) and a side salad. He said everything was cooked perfectly and was very good. My water even came room temperature as I requested. That might not sound like much but almost every restaurant I go to brings me water with ice in it even though I request that they don't. Kudos to this restaurant for a great experience.

No smiles... Felt tolerated and not appreciated. But the worst part was the food. I really hate giving bad reviews but the menu was overpriced and the food wasn't good. The broccoli was raw in the broccoli casserole. I prefer my broccoli cooked. The flavor was bland and reminded me of baby food. The Rocky top chicken was so bad that I ended up sending my meal back. The mushrooms tasted like they had been marinated in pure alcohol. It left a terrible taste in my mouth. Their food just isn't my taste. Maybe you might like it. The good part is that they didn't try to charge me for it.

I hate to say this place has changed a lot since it originally came to town. I go there because it's the only steak restaurant in town, but the last five or six times I've ordered a ribeye it has been terrible. And, the worst part about it is, this restaurant actually served me one of the best ribeyes I've ever had a long time ago. I keep coming back in hopes to have that experience again, but it keeps getting worse. The ribeye I had today, didn't even look like a ribeye steak. It was poorly cut, it was too thin, it was overcooked (because it was too thin) and they cover it with butter apparently to try to mask all of these features. The wait staff was hard-working and kind as always, the few stars I give are for them. I hope Colorado Grill returns to it's former glory. Until I hear from someone it has, I won't be returning.

Phenomenal. Filet was perfectly seared outside and melt in your mouth tender and juicy inside. Flavor was exquisite. Rocky top chicken was delicious. Broccoli casserole was creamy and quite tasty. Grilled potatoes with grilled onions and peppers were so sweet and flavorful. Our server Tony was patient and accommodating, fast and friendly. It has been awhile since I have been to a restaurant that was completely satisfying on every level. This was an exceptional and altogether magnificent dining experience. I honestly can't say enough good things about my time there tonight. We will make it a point to visit again.

We almost left after our arrival when my wife said to the greeter at the front desk "2 people", and he ask "do you have any dogs?". It took me a second to figure it out but then I was appalled at the statement. Very unprofessional and uncalled for and not funny at all. We stayed and had an overwhelmingly good meal. Had we known how large the meal would be, we could have shared it. We had a Fried Catfish Dinner and it was a whole pound of Catfish, two large pieces and hush puppies and fried jalapenos. The sweet tea was true southern sweet tea. Our server was Jayme and she was very attentive and served us well. You should do something special for Jayme as she deserves it. I would recommend Colorado Grill to anyone if you can get past the young punk kid greeter at the front desk.

My family and I have been eating at CG for a few years. The quality has deteriorated in the past several months. I always order beef and of late, the quality of the beef is quite poor. The texture of the meat is far from tender and more akin to cowhide leather; the flavor is also not unlike leather drizzled in a significant quantity of butter/grease. I've noticed a lot of new faces in management and serving staff. I suspect there was a significant change in the operation, hiring, and purchasing. Dining at CG has become an increasingly disappointing experience. The significant growth in the Whitehouse area will bring more dining establishments. CG would be well advised to improve their quality standards if they wish to compete.

Only been one time and the experience was awful. Took forever to get our food (it was around 11:30 am) and it wasn't because they were busy. We were seated in the bar area which wasn't our choice but where we were taken. Guess they were saving their dining area for the dinner crowd. There were 2 guys eating at the bar and they were so loud and obnoxiously speaking their foreign language. We finally got tired of listening to it that we packed up our food and left. Of course we paid our bill before leaving and told the waiter who was also the bartender that we would never be back. We don't understand why this place keeps a crowd. Its certainly not because of the food or the hospitality. Take the extra 15 minute drive toward Nashville and find many other better places to eat that is more hospitable toward their customers.

We had a large party and we called ahead. They told us they would have seating available to accommodate our group. We get there and check in and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. After 20 mins we were told 30 more minutes. An hour and 15 mins pass and 15 other parties were sat down to eat, and we were still waiting. I went up to speak to the manager who was completely unprofessional, and said umm... you will have to give me a few to see if I can seat you. They did not offer to bust our party up into smaller groups to seat us. They completely ignored us. Needless to say your company let 20 people walk out. That is terrible service and the 1st time I was coming to dine at your restaurant. I wont be back!

If you want GOOD catfish and plenty of it, this is the place to go. We moved here recently from upstate NY and i never had catfish. This is all i order now when we go there. It is the BEST anywhere and usually i cant eat it all. I have had one pasta dish but always go back to getting the catfish. We go at least once a month, sometimes more. Great prices too. Service is good also. For seniors, ask for discount. Highly recommend. Just an addition, we had the Filet Mignon there recently (4/4/19) and it is the best steak we have ever had in a restaurant. Cooked to perfection! Dont hesitate to try it!

Colorado Grill is one of the better dining experiences I have had in a long time! Where do i start, I got there at 11:50am, right at the start of the lunch rush, was seated right away. Our server Christina, is a credit to her profession, took our orders right away, our food came out promptly! The orders were right and the correct temperature, all in all a great dining experience! My father was with me and it was his second time there and my first! Ask for Christina, you won't be disappointed!

Delicious food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, and outside seating - a nice motorcycle ride from Springfield. The menu has a nice variety - appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees. The bourbon salmon was smoky and very flavorful, not overdone at all. Steak on the black and blue salad was Cajun seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Sorry to say been there 4 times over the past year hoping it would get better each time. That never happened for me. They are friendly to some folks but not everyone. A lot of people speak highly of Colorado Grill but my own opinion is that it is average. For the price it should be above average. Steaks do not seem to be hand cut fresh. My dad was a meat cutter all of his life and I have had fresh quality. At least they could age them properly. Best wishes tho, hopefully they will step up their game.

Well the prices are like downtown Nashville. Food is good but not great. The service was not that great. The waitress had way too much going on to serve us with any type of efficiency. The dinner salad came after the meal was served. Had to ask other servers to bring another drink. This was the first time there and will give it another try but not going out of my way to go.

We are from out of state (like up north, Minnesota). The food was FABULOUS. The portion size was more than generous. Myself and the kids had enough leftovers for breakfast when we ate there for supper. The food was so good that we went back twice in the 3 days we were in town. I have never been a meatball girl, well I am now. The bread was perfect and the sweet butter, first time I have ever added anything to my break, and it was AWESOME. Service was speedy and friendly. Even when we came in as a group of 10 near closing time.

We had a great experience here. The chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious fried okra was great. Daughter and husband had raps that were excellent oh, daughter's boyfriend had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy that was fabulous. Our waitress was April and she took great care of us. We got a picture taken in front of the elk before we left. It's great to find these little tiny places a little bit off the highway but gives you a real feel for the town.

Very busy at dinner hours. Food and service exceptional considering the variety of dishes on their menu. My husband and I went at a very busy time with 16 other people with everyone ordering anything on their extensive menu. The first time I visited, of course I didn’t know that, but they happily remade my food the way I like it.

Food is amazing. Service is hit or miss, depends on server you get. I used to work here and kitchen was always very clean and the cooks were always following good standards for safe food preparation. I would consider this place to be one of the best two places in White House for a sit down restaurant with table service. The bar has a decent selections as well. The wait can be pretty long on the weekends, especially for dinner. The weekdays are not bad for wait times.

It's an American style restaurant that charges a bit too much. The food is ok. They have a bar and serve steak, so they don't have any competition for 15mins in all directions. Atmosphere is fine though, lots of parking.
