What a great place to eat. I went to Clinton for work and stopped in for a bite and what a great decision that was. Opened face roast beef was fantastic! Great service! Hopefully I will have to work in that direction again soon.

Great place for lunch. Lot's of good sandwich selections and the soup of the day usually is worthwhile. The company I used to work for would have them cater business meetings all the time, and they always did a splendid job. We didn't seem to mind those 6+ hour torture sessions so much when we knew we'd be getting some fine sammies come lunch time. I hear they are open for breakfast now too. I wish they had maybe some limited evening hours. Maybe some day.

They cater for our office regularly and do a FANTASTIC job! We love everything we have ever gotten from there. My personal favorite is the broccoli salad, and I didn't even used to like broccoli! Great value, great people, great location, and great food!! Can't beat 'em.

Situated right on historic downtown Clinton's main square, Steamers is a fantastic little cafe and is an outstanding place for lunch. I've eaten here a dozen times or more and have never been disappointed. The restaurant offers a great selection of menu items ranging from many different salads to soups, a multitude of sandwiches, and heartier entrees including smoked turkey and pork. While all of the meals I've had here have been great, I'm partial to their chicken salad sandwich (excellent, especially on a croissant). It's also worth upgrading any sandwich side to their sweet potato fries. As for atmosphere, the place is simple but quite clean. And, the staff are friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy the place can be during lunch. If you find yourself in Clinton or driving by and needing a lunch spot, Steamers should be your #1 choice. It's well worth the short 5-minute drive off of I-26 to get some lunch here, too.

A great place to eat in Clinton. If you think going to McDonalds across the street is a better idea than you doing yourself a disservice. Steamers Cafe is a local restaurant that makes great food at a great price! All the servers are nice and quick. I wish this restaurant was in Greenville so I could eat there more often.

SNEAKY. I ordered a philly cheese steak and a sweet tea. Not only did it take a century to get my food, but when I got to the register I was hit with a nasty suprise. I left a tip on the table and got to the register expecting a 10 to 12 dollar ticket. My price was $14.88 because they took their own gratuity on my party of three. Watch out, they will make you pay your tip twice.

Burger was wonderful. I like the idea of toasting the bun. Makes it easier to hold, and the bun doesn't fall apart. The fries and patty were moist, not greasy. Staff were very friendly, like they've known me for years, but this was my first visit. Very impressive! On a scale of 1-5, I'd give them a 100!

Excellent everything! My wife and I were doing a road trip to Boone and we decided to stop in Clinton and grab breakfast, we saw the vintage decor in front of and we decided to go in. We were greeted very well by the waitress. After our food came ou which was very delicious, the chef came out say hello and oh boy was he awesome! what a great guy and chef. I ordered and omelette. Next time we head up to Boone, we will definitely grab breakfast here again.
