A few people had recommended this to me saying it is really good and has vegetarian options. Rating based on Google reviews say the same. So I went there with a friend ( not vegetarian). My dish (veg eggplant stew) ,recommended by waitress had no flavor. I got dill and Lima bean rice with it.. I don't know how anyone could make anything without flavor with dill! Just didn't have any taste. I would say rice cooked by the Iranian students at Clemson during the international food festival was 100 times better but 100*0 is still 0..so that would be an insult to the Clemson students. There were 4 pieces of eggplant on what seemed/tasted like heated from ordered the can crushed tomatoes. My friend ordered ground beef kabobs said the food is edible- expect more than edible for a entree priced at over $25! The best part of the meal was the the one radish and mint leaves that came along with complementary pita bread ( which was hard). That's one crossed of my list of go-to restaurants. And yes, I have eaten at other Persian restaurants before and it is not a lack of palate leading to this review. No complaints about the waitress or service though.

Oh my Pomegranate on Main is a must stop. We loved the Persian breakfast platter that is an appetizer. I got the chicken kabobs and the cranberry rice. It was so delicious. I would definitely order this again.

Been coming here for years and I've never been disappointed. Dim lit lighting and nicely outfit decor. The food is great. Different lunch and dinner pricing. I had the Zereshk Polo entree (most Americans love this meal... has a sweet taste). However, they have a variety of options to choose from. They have some very good Maast o Khiar with cucumbers, raisins, and walnuts throughout. Be sure to get all of the sides like onion, bread, butter, basil, etc. to go with it. If you haven't tried it before ask a customer who has so you enjoy the full effect. Persians have a way of dressing up their food to make it "burst" with flavor. Sweet Tea is pretty decent. There's a full bar and the bartender's make some awesome drinks. Nice beer selections. Service is good. Reservations are available but not recommended. Soft music playing. Clean and well decorated atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Clean restrooms.

The kashk eggplant appetizer was great, I highly recommend it. The wrap was not that good because of the sauce. Service and outdoor seating were nice!

If you've never tried Persian food, this is a must. The kabobs, mast musir and saffron cranberry rice are insanely good. The outdoor patio has a nice view and people watching area. Inside was trendy and very welcoming. The staff and service were fantastic and i can't wait to go back.

Delicious. I will say coming here for lunch is a better bang for your buck, since from what I can tell, I think the lunch and dinner sizes are the same, but there is like a significant cost difference! Love the lamb chops, the salmon salads & kabobs! The rice with the cranberries is delicious!

This was my second time at Pomegranate, and I am so glad I went back. The first time, a few years ago, was disappointing, but my dinner last night was absolutely fantastic. I love all forms of Middle Eastern food, and am extremely picky. The roasted eggplant appetizer was fantastic. Truly one of the best apps I’ve had in quite a while. We ordered 2 entrees and split them amongst 4 people and had more than enough food. Our server had the kitchen pre-split the food, which was a wonderful token. One order was placed wrong, so we ended up with extra food, and it was all fantastic. We had lamb, chicken, beef and ground chuck. Great wine selection was well. Will definitely go back.

It's ok went at lunch. Service was efficient but brusque. I've only been there once but my friends think it is great. Meat was flavorful but it was just plain rice and marinated meat with a roasted tomato. I would go again but am not over the moon about it.

Great food, rice portion is bit too small for Persians, it would be nice to have more variety of stews and add a bit more light it's too dark! Service was very good.

The food is always top notch. Beautiful environment with a down to earth wait staff. Always love the Rice with cranberries I think it's the best rice ever made. The meat was super tender and flavorful and so was the chicken. Every chance I get to go I will never say no to this place. Very very lovely.

We loved it! Persian fare. Excellent balance of hot & colds. Cumin-Lime salad dressing is The Bomb! Everything is so fresh. Combinations of marinated kebobs, mint, basil, lettuces, cukes & tomato all just pop in your mouth. So refreshing! Definitely will go back.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Rack of Lamb and it was fantastic, the meat was beyond tender and the flavor was incredible, some of the best Persian food I've ever had. The aesthetic and hospitality is very nice as well.

Unique and delicious food. Simple and tasty. Nothing like it in Greenville that I've found. I've done lunch, dinner, and business events here. Nothing stumps the staff and I've never experienced a lag or drop off in food or service quality. If you haven't tried it yet, stop depriving yourself.

Drinks were great... especially the Pomegranate martini. Hummus was excellent, we had pico and red pepper. Good atmosphere, nice service. Meals were slightly over priced in my opinion but good portions. The rice was fluffy and cooked well. I had lamb which had a good flavor but lacked seasoning. Overall a nice experience.
