Got the large rib plate with Mac and cheese and onion rings added a side if sweet potato souffle, husband had Large pulled pork plate with banana pudding and Mac and cheese. The sauces were great but didn't need them for the pulled pork. Enjoyed the pulled pork 100% better than the ribs. All the sides we're so amazing. I wanted to try them all! Staff was so friendly and we will be back! Prices were exceptional as well compared to many other BBQ places! After 21 years if them being here, I can't believe we're just finding it, but, better late than never!

Some of the best chopped pork you can get in the upstate. The mustard base sauce is spicy and flavorful. You can smell the smoke well before you get there. The staff treats you like family and is pretty fast. You won't leave hungry.

We recently went to Mike & Jeff's for the second time on a Saturday mid afternoon and took some friends. We had told them that this was one of the highest rated BBQ places in the upstate. They had also heard that from another friend. The service was very good, but the food was not what we remembered the first time. The pulled pork and the sweet potato casserole were quite good but the reason I go to BBQ is for the ribs. They had almost no taste and the other sides were just ok. Our friends were also particularly disappointed in the ribs compared to several other BBQ places in the Upstate.

This place is a true local spot! We were looking for an option for lunch when on the way to play golf at the Furman golf course, so stopped here. The pulled pork was excellent, but the ribs were honestly a bit disappointing a bit tough and the meat was not falling off.

An out of the way local favorite, that is absolutely worth finding. Really big flavor coming out of a very small, but cozy place. Old-school Greenville at its finest.

My husband and I are from NC, so naturally we love BBQ. So while we were visiting SC we figured we would give SC BBQ a try, and we defiantly were not disappointed! Mike and Jeff’s pulled pork is amazing! Their BBQ had great smoke, and loved how they let the meat stand out and didn’t drown it in sauce. Not to mention their onion rings and slaw. Will defiantly be back when we come to SC again!

They Catered my wedding, their Mac'N Cheese is to Die for. I was impressed by the quality of food being used to Tennessee BBQ and not knowing much about South Carolina BBQ. (I've known about North Carolina with their vinegar /pepper based BBQ. After recently moving down here. Best BBQ in the whole region. I honestly can’t figure out why people love such mediocre places like Henry’s Smoke House or Little Pigs etc. Their food is average and uninteresting, and they aren’t even in the same league as Mike and Jeff’s. I always get the pulled pork and hush puppies.

I ordered the plate with ribs, pulled pork and chopped chicken. There was so much food I split it into thirds and it made lunch for 3 days!!! The portions are enormous but what's more impressive is the flavor. By far, the best ribs I've ever had! The pulled pork is as good as any in town and both have a smokey flavor that can't be beat. The chopped chicken is moist and tender. I personally like the fried okra and mac and cheese but the sweet potato souffle is delicious too. Don't forget to get an order of banana pudding- you probably won't be able to eat it after your dinner but it makes a great bedtime snack! If you love BBQ you have to try Mike and Jeffs!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. We live close to this place and smell the smoke every time we drive by. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is awesome. Mr. Jeff is very friendly, service is good, and the food is outstanding! Flavorful, tender, juicy ribs are the best, and they certainly have them here. Pulled pork is A-1, I rarely use the sauces, because the meat really doesn't need them! The plates of food are enormous, and always highly flavorful. Even though I don't use them much, the sauces are excellent, especially the hot sauce. The home fries side is tops, as well as the normal fries. I have been here many times and have NEVER had a bad meal. You will never go away hungry, or dissatisfied. 100% recommendation.

Hands down, some of the best barbecue you will ever put in your mouth. There is very limited seating (around 6 or 7 tables total, I think) but if you can't get a seat, take it to go, eat it while sitting on the floor, or whatever you have to do because you do not want to miss out on this food.

I consider my self a BBQ expert... I have eaten a LOT of BBQ in the Upstate of SC, and Mike & Jeff's BBQ remains at the top of the list, second to none. The meat doesn't actually NEED any sauce at all and has a GREAT flavor by itself! Jeff actually layers flavored bacon over the pork while it is being smoked to give it an EXCELLENT flavor.... and no, it does NOT taste like an "ash tray" as some other reviewer stated. If you like oven baked BBQ that doesn't have a smoked flavor, try Little Pigs or Buckey's. But if you want good southern smoked BBQ that is truly delicious, go with Mike & Jeff's! Oh, and their sides are also out of this world! Is it a "hole in the wall" type of place? Yeah, but the inside is actually nice and quaint. Eat here, you won't be disappointed!!

Fantastic BBQ in Greenville from such an unassuming location. I would have never thought the food would have been as good as it was from a first impression of the location but I was blown away. The prices were reasonable and the food was really second to none if you’re a BBQ fan. The establishment was very clean, the staff was great, always there to refill and ask if they can get you anything. The only mild complaint is you should make sure you get there early for lunch or carry out, the dining area is quite small.

The smell from the outside draws you in immediately. Their prices and selection are great for a BBQ place, though I do wish they had brisket. I ordered the ribs and pulled pork to sample, while I waited I took in the decorations. The inside has a old school gas station eatery feel and is clean. I would recommend getting the ribs, as they were really meaty and had a pretty good taste. They, like the pork, did lack a smoke flavor that the smell from the outside promised. I would say this is a decent place to get BBQ, for the price point, but I wouldn't travel out of my way to go there.

They have very good food and the BEST BBQ ribs to sink your teeth into. I ordered a rib plate with onion rings and Cole slaw which is so very good. I sometimes get a whole slab of ribs to take home with a quart of coleslaw. I must say the owner Jeff was voted to have the best ribs in Greenville in a contest, the atmosphere is wonderful and very great service. If you pass up going here, your missing a great meal.

This is my favorite barbq joint....has been for over 10yrs but today I was really disappointed. It's not close so after driving there and home, I opened our plates and neither one was right. Onion rings tasted like they had been cooked and sat under warmer, what barbq place runs out of baked beans, wrong sauce for my sandwich and oh how I was looking forward to those hush puppies that weren't there.

I havn't had their whole selection of bbq, but the meat has been consistently cooked correctly. the pit is a custom job, well done and cared for. on occassion they have been kind enough to give or sell a few sticks for my own pit. the place has been here for a while. employees are good neighborhood people. get in and out quick. freindly as well. not too steep on the price. easy and tasty stop for bbq.

I was born in Georgia, raised in Texas, lived in Boston for 15 years. And I've been to every BBQ restaurant in town, twice. And this is the best pork BBQ I've ever had! I drove 45 mins out of the way today, just to fill my belly. If u drive by w/o bringing sum home, and ur wife finds out (they sell it by the pound) u might b sleeping on the couch...I recommend the sweet potato souffle and the baked beans (it's got burnt pieces of pork in it) don't forget to get a bag of bones for ur doggie cheap
