EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! SOMEWHERE EVERY CUSTOMER IS VALUED AND RESPECTED. THIS IS NOT THAT PLACE. Food is typically good but the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. A prime example is my most recent visit where I ordered a chicken strip combo with 2 sides of wedges sliced thin. I know the sliced thin is a speck request which is why I request it at the window and expect a wait which I’ve done at least 5+ times before no biggie. My order is out in 3 mins with wedges that are not only not thin but cut HUGE. There are only 6 which I had 2 orders of wedges. That’s 3 per order big! Bigger than normal. I wait for the cashier to return to the window nothing, blow the horn nothing, well actually 2 employees come out of the back look but don’t address me. After about 7mins the cashier returns I advise her of the huge wedges and she replies “Those just came up He’s not dropping wedges right now” I ask if the wedges I have can be cut in half and redropped she says “let me see what time he dropping new wedges”. Then some guy who I assume is the manager although you couldn’t tell from the unkempt hair and B O comes to the window and asks what the problem is. I attempt to repeat the issue and he starts talking loudly over me and cuts me off to advise “he doesn’t have time for this they are busy (no cars in the lot or drive-thru btw) he noticed the wedges were cut bigger today but he isn’t going to do anything about it because he has a catering today” In the rudest tone I’ve heard from any man. I was going to order different sides until he requested my current plate back at which point I decided the interaction had become far too negative with him yelling and not allowing me to complete a sentence for me to trust anything new coming out of there. I had a very bad experience that involved bugs on the counter about 15 yrs ago and didn’t eat from this place again until this year under some serious coercion from a friend. The saying rings true when people show you who they are believe them... NASTY all the way around.

It's not the same Lee's Chicken I used to eat for some reason it had good flavor but the quality of chicken was very poor.I hadn't eaten there in probably 6 months or so and it was just not very good

My wife and I decided to try out Lee's Famous Chicken, She had the chicken tenders which were nice and spicy, sides were Fried ( Rubbery ) Okra and Mac n cheese which she says must have been in the warmer for two days as they looked over warmed and mushy. I had a two piece Thighs w/ Coleslaw. My dish was good, but they don't offer a spicy thich choice, a Thumbs Down there!. My wife was hitting the commode all day since lunch, fortunately I'm okay. The staff were really nice, but we can't figure out how it remains in business? We won't be returning to Lee's

First time visit. Carry out order was wrong and I didn’t realize it until I got home. Had to go back to get the rest of the order. Found the chicken to be a bit dry and very salty. Sides were pretty good. Probably won’t go back.

Lees has been one of my favorite places for a long time now and every time I come in they always treat me great. Sunday’s are always busy for them but they always help me after my family gets out of church and never once gives me attitude. The food there is great and service is amazing. After reading the reviews, yesterday must have been an off day for the crew at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. It was my first time there and unfortunately, I will not be going back any time soon. I ordered the chicken strips combo meal and the chicken was OK, I am not sure why the recipe is famous, the chicken was juicy. The french fries or potato wedges were not appealing at all, they were old. I had one bite and throw the rest away. This restaurant experience was not a great for me. Customer service was good, I wish the food was the same.

I have been a long time loyal customer for years. However, my wife and I won't be back. I used to love getting the large box of potato wedges. But the last couple times I got them they did fill up the box all the way to the top. The first time i didn't notice until I was already home and eating them. So the second time it happened I complained and the woman working in the kitchen refused to do anything about it and said that it was normal serving size. Actually its normal full or overflowing. Both times it was 75% full, and due to how greasy they are it settled to about 50% in about 30 minutes to an hour. All the food there is very greasy, so much so that he contain it comes in will sometimes fall apart. This place needs to step up their game they appear to less popular than competitors like KFC, Bojangles, Popeyes, etc.

I got to be gluten free to eat at a place. So I am not sure if this place fit the bill when I went in. Nothing seemed out of sorts but there was really nothing I wanted to eat. But if you all get some chicken in here that is grilled please put up a big banner letting everyone know. This place seems to be busy a lot so most people probably like them.

Love this place for two reasons. 1 - the food is consistently good. 2 - the customer service is stellar! I go here for lunch when I'm working and have never had to wait long. The food is as always hot and fresh. The service is outstanding, I get checked on a couple times while I'm there. Well, I'm here again based on my own recommendation and imagery to report they slipped. I placed my order at 1:10. At 1:25 I'm still waiting after they told me they'd bring it out to me. I walked up and asked about my order. Oh, we made it to go and it's been up here waiting for you. How did it get from we'll bring it out to you to a to go order? Andi had to ask for the sauce that was ordered with it. Sorry guys, down to 3 stars. Well, I went back...and it was great! Travis, young man working there, was outstanding in foor service and customer service! This is the Lee's Chicken that makes me want to come back! Outstanding Travis, because of today you gained stars back!

My first time trying them and I was satisfied. I called my order in it was ready when I arrived. The shrimp, chicken breast, gizzards and fried pickles were good. I wasn't impressed with the size of the order of gizzards. I will definitely eat there again.

I went there today around 2:30 and ordered a large box of potatoe wedges to go and I asked the cashier to make sure that he let the cook know that I wanted the thicker potatoes, and he did, but she didn't give me the thicker potatoes that I requested, so when I got my box of potatoes they were not the thicker potatoes at all. So, I will not be going there during first shift again, because they are lazy and unprofessional, but the employees that work the latter shift, almost always, prepares my order the way that I ordered it and if it is not correct, they always go out of their way to correct it, but not the younger employees on first shift.

We had one in Spartanburg and they closed. We found this one today and made the hour trip to see if it was as good. It was far better! The manager was there and we asked if he would fry the corn on the cob. He gladly obliged. Anywhere else, they would tell you to kick rocks. The service was great and so friendly. The food was amazing! The restaurant was spotless. Overall this was a wonderful experience.

Lee was the nephew of a very famous Kentucky Colonel, but his chicken is better. The drive through speaker is horrible so you might want to order inside. Get the gizzards.

This is the best place EVER for chicken. I had the liver and gizzards mixed and they were better and more tender than my grandma's. And believe me, that is saying a lot. It puts you in the mind of a fast food joint but they brought our food out to us, brought us extra condiments, and because it was so much food, I was given a take out container as well. Travis the manager/cook was very pleasant and so were the other workers. They were even more happy to oblige me with posing for some photos with me and for me. If you are ever in Rock Hill, SC, you have to stop in and give this place a try. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

I love the wings and potatoe wedges which is what I mostly get everytime, I was a little disappointed in the wedges because they were skinny pieces and most of them today really didnt have much potatoe if that makes since,more skin than anything and I may have had 3 big wedges out the entire order but my wings and sweet tea was great!

Came here tonight and it was wonderful. The chicken was fresh and when I asked the two young ladies if could I have my wedges fried harder than normal they had no problem doing it. They were very busy and still wanted to fill my request of extra crispy wedges. Everybody is so friendly and I loved the customer service. Will definitely be back very soon!! The food was pretty good but the service on the night we went was a little off. They apologized o think it was just an off night. The chicken was delicious. The potatoe wedges where kind of powdery tasting but I was the only one who noticed this so maybe it was just me. Would go back for chicken definitely but I would probably do drive thru next time.

If you like KFC you will LOVE this chicken. The recipe is very similar. I read the history info display and the founder of Le's is the nephew of Colonel Sanders that went on the road and help develope the "Origional recipe chicken" They have other items that KFC does not have.......I recommend trying their fried dill pickles! Amazing!

My family and I come here all the time. The food is very good and highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is very friendly and have great customer service. I have yet to have an issue with any of my food or any of the employees. We came this morning and all the employees were very nice and made it feel like home. My family and I will continue to come here.
