If you are a fan of Southern comfort food in a buffet style dining, this could be just what you are looking for. Most of the staff members are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you have what you need. There is limited parking so, if it is possible, you should plan to get there a little earlier than regular Lunch hour or Dinner hour. This will also allow for seating of your choice. This is a pretty popular place with the locals and things do get picked over rather rapidly so the before meal timing is better than the after "Rush" time.

This is the one and only best family restaurant in Greer! They offer a variety of veggies, desserts, meats, and salads for a great price, if you are looking for a meat and 2 or 3! And if it's your 1st time, you get free dessert! The food is absolutely delicious! Eat in our takeout! They also offer catering services! I highly recommend this place!

We use to eat there at least once a week. The last three times we were there, we were dissapointed.The portions were so small.The collards had more stems than leaves, the Fried chicken strips were too dry and tough. We will try again later down the road hope to see it as good as we have seen it , If not we will dismiss it from our selection.

Good food, good prices, huge slices of cake. Free brownie and ice cream was a special treat on Wednesday evening. The waitress said they’re doing that on Wednesday’s and Friday’s. The staff are also sweet and work quickly and together to keep your cups full and to provide condiments and whatever else you might need. I wasn’t crazy about the collard greens simply because they weren’t grandmas; but other than that, everything was very good that I had. I will return when I’m in the area.

I would highly recommend Laurenda's for any of your catering needs! I have 3 daughter's and she has done 2 of their weddings and will be doing the 3rd wedding in May! She even did the wedding cake! Very professional, prompt and reasonably priced. The food is delicious!!! We also go to her restaurant regularly, you can't beat the Sunday lunch!!

Very unprofessional in how they respond to customers. For three weeks I called about having them cater an event. The first time I called, they said they could cater my event and would call me back. They never called back. The second time I called because they never called back, they said they were getting a crew together for my event and would call me back the following week. Once again, they did not call me so I called a third time for the third week in a row. They said they were too busy to talk to me and would call me back. They finally called me back and told me they were booked on the date I requested and could not cater my event! This really upset me since I had them cater for my daughter’s wedding and was a repeat customer.

It’s the the best food I’ve had in a long time. The fried chicken is my favorite. I also enjoy the macaroni and cheese . Free desert every evening. I love the Apple cobbler on Monday. It’s a nice family atmosphere. First time visiting gets free cake . Found that out few months ago. My favorite restaurant in Greer area!

Great place don’t get me wrong but to hear what others are saying even from customers that go there all the time. Old food shouldn’t be served or reheated multiple times. It’s a restaurant for god sake. Serve fresh food. Place needs to be cleaned up as well. Walls look dirty. Bathrooms falling apart. Do they ever change their gloves after touching anything else. Line isn’t the same at all. I wonder how many times they reheat their chicken and dumplings same for the stew beef if it’s actually “ fresh”.

Laurenda's has home cooking at its best .The option to view the food and choose is a draw to the restaurant. Portions are plentiful and the food is all you want in southern cooking. I have had the opportunity to enjoy Laurenda's catering at several venues.. The food was attractive and equally as delicious. Her staff replenished items without fanfare and virtually unnoticed. The displays were beautiful and in keeping with the theme of the event. I would engage Laurenda's to cater any function I might have.

It was our first time coming to Laurendas. We went on the 9th of this month. We had chicken tenders, mac & cheese and green beans. We came around 6:30 and got through the line pretty quickly. We received a free piece of cake for our first visit! A nice lady named Cindy was our waitress. She got us everything we needed. She was absolutely great! We definitely will be back.

Found this place online. I am planning a 90th birthday party for my grandma and she loves traditional southern food so before I ordered food from here, I wanted her to try it. She absolutely loved it. She was so thrilled. The food was beyond excellent. She had the ham, dressing, green beans and sweet potato souffle. I had the chicken tenders, creamed corn, dressing, new potatoes and mac and cheese. My daughter had the cubed steak and creamed potatoes and rolls. Everything was excellent. The cubed steak is so tender. The dressing is creamy and doesn't have a strong onion taste like most. The mac and cheese was creamy not hard. The rolls were fantastic. We inquired about catering and the price was reasonable too. Definitely worth it for good food.

A lunch favorite when I'm wanting southern comfort food. Served cafeteria style but wait staff is especially helpful to me as I use a walker. My family introduced me to this restaurant when I was visiting one weekend m.k ore than a year ago. Four of us came for dinner and it was my treat. I was the last in line and because it was my first visit I was offered a free dessert. My daughter had their salad bar but my adult granddaughter and I had the regular meal with entree and a couple of veggies while my son in law had an extra large serving of fried chicken plus 3 veggies and our total bill was only $32. The food was hot and very by good. On my last visit a week or so ago I had no problem with my food or service but it was extremely cold out that day and my table was too close to the front door so every time someone came in or left I g ou t a little huge whoosh of really cold air so I really didn't enjoy a leisurely lunch as I quickly ate and left. Before leaving I used the ladies room and I did just about freeze in there. There was absolutely no o heat in that restroom and it was like being outside. Then there was only ice cold water for hand washing and that just in rested my discomfort. I am glad I didn't use the restroom at the beginning or during my lunch because I could not have eaten my meal because I was too cold. I went directly to my car and once I started it. I turned my seat warmers to high and sat there until my heater was blasting hot air so that I could thaw out. Even though I like the food and staff I will not go back during cold weather because I got way too cold and we haven't had a real winter yet.

We ate here for the first time 7 Nov 18. In general, a nice family style restaurant. You go through a serving line when enter to choose your meal. The portions are big. The prices are reasonable. You won't go hungry or broke eating here. I give this rating because what we had must have been in the serving trays a long time because the chicken tenders and fish strips were very dry. The veggies we had were too salty. Considering the 5 star reviews they get, the food was just ok. Maybe it was late (7pm) and mid week.
