Jessica Meyers

They are always so wonderful! The service is great. Never had an empty glass. The food is always so full of flavor! My favorite is the Chicken Korma and Cheese naan! My husband loves the lamb vendalu.

asdin wilson

Been coming here since I was 5 and still love it just as much as the first time. Currently here eating dinner, thanks for the amazing food over the years!

Prince Abo

Service wasn't the best mostly cause the servers have a very thick accent and was hard to understand. But its really good food. The service was quick, and the food was well priced for lunch

Michael Crawford

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. They mske the best malai kofta anywhere!!

Cindy Garren

I love this restaurant! The ambience is good, the service is good and the food excellent. Wide variety of fish, chicken, lamb and vegetarian options. Love the papadum and onion chutney they give you as a complimentary appetizer. Been going here for years and never disappointed.

Jacob blakely

Best Indian food in Greenville! Do not let the building fool you, it looks a little questionable on the outside, but is extremely nice inside. I've never been to India but the food seems extremely authentic. There is a huge selection to choose from. Naan bread comes with every entree, but me and my wife like to add either cheese or spinach naan as well. We also love their tea which has cardamom and other spices in it ( don't knock it until you try it! ). Portions are big and make for a great lunch the next day. The staff is very friendly and provide great service!

Jody Garrett

Really good Indian food. I can't contest to its authenticity due to never having had Indian food before but I will be back. And for everyone complaining about the "buffet" here is the definition... buf·fet1 bəˈfā/ noun 1. a meal consisting of several dishes from which guests serve themselves. Don't hate on them cause Ryan's skewed your perception.

Nancy Martin

The food is so good!

Della Linder

Chicken vandaloo (different places spell it differently) is amazing! Not to spicy, just perfect. Chicken is tender and juicy. I could eat here everyday! There was not one thing I can complain about or didn't like!

Aman Nakhwal

The food is so good. Friendly staff, i love the spiced tea, and also the chicken tikka masala. I will come back again for sure.

Carol Nobles

Great food and great service! !

C. Miles G.

Tasty tasty tasty. Love the food. Don't come here for a quick bite. Come here to enjoy tasty food and quality time with your friends. Staff is great, some of them unique...when you go there and encounter her you will know why...but she is awesome!!!! Anyways, I is amazing. Go

My husband and I were going through town on our way to North Carolina and stumbled upon this restaurant. We'd been travelling all day, were tired and hungry. I ordered plain naan and butter chicken, my husband ordered garlic naan and lamb roganjosh. We both had to stop ourselves from moaning out loud, the food was sooooo good! The food was very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Whenever we visit our God children in Anderson, we will make the drive to India Palace for lunch or dinner.

Ethan Garza

Very good food, 10 out of 10

Addie Caple

The best chicken tikka masala and naan bread I’ve ever had! This place is amazing.

Donna Moore

We love to eat lunch at India Palace. The thali is an excellent way to try a variety of Indian cuisine. We enjoyed all of our selections, but particularly liked the saag and chicken korma. I also recommend specialty naan; we had garlic. One other special treat is the iced tea. It's unlike any tea at American restaurants, and it refreshing.

Jason Cassandra

Great food and friendly service.

His Child

I took business associates from India there on their last day before returning home. Every single thing I ate was delicious!! My associates said the food was authentic. Extensive menu, resonably priced. It was so good, I brought my family the next day. My favorites were the chicken Makhni, garlic naan, shrimp pakora, onion chutney, and this amazing lamb dish cooked with rice, tomato, onion, & green peppers. It's been here since I was a young girl, I didn't realize what a treasure it was.

Terry Rhinebold

Positives: Very very good. Excellent choices. Atmosphere very nice. Only negative: 1 st wait staff unable to get our order correct (language issue & despite pointing to our drink choices he came back twice to clarify and still got it wrong. He was replaced and all went well thereafter!

Prasad Shringarpure

Great food! Great place! Loved it! Must try chai!

Creations de Mimi/Mylene

Best Indian food in town!

Jimmy Eades

Love there food

Vanessa Verner

Awesome place. The service was excellent. The food was great.

Godis Nanu

It's ok. Definitely not the best Indian food I've had. Not the most authentic I've experienced either, but it is South Carolina and I'm sure they must be catering to Southern Conservatives as best they can. At least their not putting bacon on everything like other restaurants do to cater to the poor paletes of Good ole predominantly white southern Christians. Dont waste money on desert. Appetizers are a go! If you're used to eating fast food, this review wont matter but if you're a foodie like me, this is the most honest review you'll find here.

Adam Hovey

Pretty good. *Applauds*

Joseph Mahon

Excellent food. All the classic Indian dishes, aromatic and flavorful rice, wonderful breads and an ambiance that will make this a weekly adventure in dining. Nuresh his family and staff make you feel welcome.

Robert C

Family owned, friendly with constantly good food.

John Heffernan

Great food at a reasonable price. The korma meals are our favorite!

Great food & service

Obese City

Love the food and atmosphere!

Franchetta Carr

Small place big taste! I stumbled upon this place by accident and smelled the strong spicesas I was passing by(Literally on the street in my car). I was greeted and seated quickly. The sweat tea had a strong chai taste and I loved it. I tried the Indian pickles and a bit to salty for my taste. My entree was delicious and really large enough for 2 people. The garlic naan is a must.

Kristin VanCuren

My husband and I have never had Indian food. We decided we wanted something different and new. I am so happy we decided to try India Palace!! It was absolutely AMAZING!

Angela Oliver

Kelsey Scott

Delicious food, LOVELY atmosphere. Their lunch specials are wonderful and their sweet tea is to die for. One of my favorite restaurants.

ragas for mood

Food was not upto expectations. Place is big with very low occupancy. Should be last option.

D Bagwell

The Lamb Vegetable and Spinach naan are awesome! I love a cup of their hot tea with honey along with my dinner. India Palace is my favorite restaurant for a relaxing, delicious dinner out in Greenville!

Lauren Howard

Best Indian food in town!! Service was great and staff was really friendly

Harold Brissey

Great authentic indian food, great atmosphere, try the chicken korma or kashmiri

Doug Wintermute

Great food and good service

Megan A

Malai kofta is so good there. If I could afford it I would eat there every night. Best Indian food in Greenville.

Jess Edwards

Great variety of food. Some of it, I am not sure what it is called, but it was delicious.

Mounica Manepalli

They call it buffet but it is actually not buffet it's not at all worth for that price saffron is way more better

Aya Bono

Amazingly fresh dishes. Can not go wrong with all vegetarian options! Be prepared to enjoy great Indian food.

Suyash Ahire

Great food and concept of unlimited thali. A little quicker service would be appreciated.

Dan Declan

Food was tasteful but we noticed a lot of orangish grease bordering our dishes so it may not have been great Indian food after all. For whatever reason the man who served us didn’t speak hardly any English and had to flag someone else down to finish taking our orders. Plus they were all wearing sanitation gloves which arose concern in us about how clean the restaurant might be. We probably won’t be back.

alicia wilkerson

You could hear the guy in the kitchen hawk spitting!!!!

Isabel Martinez

I had dinner at India Palace on a trip to SC tonight, and I loved everything I ordered. The chicken Tikka Masala was very tender and creamy and just the right amount of spice. The garlic Naan and the cheese Naan were both delicious as well. The staff was wonderful! Would totally recommend this place! 5 stars!

Nirav Patel

Worst Food. I am not even a local to this area. We were passing by after coming back from our cruise going back to CT. We took a dinner break at this WORST Indian restaurent ever. . Tomato soup - 3 different colors Papad - OLD and dry been sitting in closet for 2 plus years Bread Basket came first before Entrees and Roti were dipped/friend in oil Saag - LOTS OF SALT! Waiter asked if we wanted rice (shouldn't rice come with entree automatically?) well guess what rice was right behind him ready to serve! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I would rather eat fast food than dine at this so called India Palace!!! Does NOT deserve even 1 star!!!!

Bunty Desor

Nice. Go at Lunch. Get the Thali.

Nathan Clark

The food is fantastic the spice tea as wonderful.

Elizabeth Haynes

Food was incredible, staff was friendly and attentive! Not super fast so don't come here for a "quick meal" but worth the wait!!

Rebekah Tower

Fantastic! This place has delicious food, friendly service and a warm atmosphere. I can't wait to go again!

Megan Ruth

The food and service were splendid. Each item is enough to share, so grab a few different things, mix and match. Be sure to get yourself some naan and/or paratha.

Mark Corn

Best Indian cuisine in Greenville

Lorri Nicholson

you can have best Indian food here with amazing service and quality.

Nathan Fulton

Tikka Masala is one of my favorite meals, so naturally it's the first thing I try when going to a new Indian restaurant for the first time. Let me say, Indian Palace's Tikka Masala was about the best I have ever had! The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well. Definitely will be making an effort to go back when in the area!

K.Bonnie E. Jones

Excellent as always! Every time we eat there, food is delicious! Tonight I had Chicken Rohan Josh for the first time, and I will get it again! Highly recommend!!

Trey Allen

Usually I give this place 5 stars. Been eating here forever and love the food. Best authentic Indian in all the ville. BUT, tonight I was let down. I ordered scallop khari, and upon getting home and fixing my plate I had all of 3 scallops and maybe a half of another one. When I order “scallop” or “shrimp” or whatever it may be even if it’s chicken or whatever. I anticipate having more than 3 pieces of that said dish especially when I pay 15 bucks for just the plate. Overall this place has amazing food. But tonight I had to review it because I was seriously let down.

Jon Stegenga

The food can't be beat! Incredible. You get a lot for your money and it's fast service. You almost feel as if you step out of the US when you walk into here. Never been to India but you get little glimpse of it's culture with the music, art work on the walls, and the delicious food.

FEC Properties

Eating here for 9 years and the food is consistantly good!

Lucas Mills

Always a great choice for Indian cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff make for a great experience.

Sameer Sangvikar

Order Biryani veg and non veg ! These are best option in biryani ! Other dishes and bread has a good test but not up to the mark or not to the Indian spice level.

Ginny Knight

I have been eating here for over 20 years. It has a wonderful ambiance and even better food. My I recommend the sagg paneer!

Linda Byce

Loved the Food! Loved everything about it! Will Be Back For Sure!!

Billy Luke Grigsby

Lamb kebab grilled in a 1600 degree tandoori oven seals flavor so it’s juicy and sears the outer surface to an incandescent red comparable to beef tenderloin but better & at a reasonable price Other Indian dishes not that complicated like a stew over rice with chicken, lamb, seafood or vegetarian with an original flavored sauce sautée pan cooked at the time of your order choose from tomato or cream gravies

alan schmeelk

Great food, great staff.

Erin Angiola

So disappointing! We didn't have any idea we would have to ask for our meals to actually have spices in an Indian restaurant. To top things off, the lamb that was ordered was actually beef. Wish we had kept on driving.

Jack Deluca

Best Indian food around.

Rohit Singhania

Undoubtedly best Indian food in Greenville. We took buffet option and it turned out to be our best lunch in Greenville. Very courteous staff. The food is anyway great but if they can add a sweet to the buffet it will add a great value to it

Meagan Spice

Best Indian food I’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with any dish, appetizer, or bread. Their sweet tea is made with chai black tea and it makes all the difference. I’m constantly craving their chai tea and butter chicken. They’re open until 10 every day and they have very fast service even during their busiest hours.

William Greene

Great ! My favorite restaurant in Greenville, SC.

Paul Dicicco

Ambiance is very attractive and comfortable. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is tasty and nicely spiced. Heat level is on the high side. Gave a four our of five only because the price to portion ratio seems a little off. Nice place for a special occasion but a little to expensive for regular dining.

scott edwards

when a Buffet is not a Buffet.... They list on the net that they have a lunch buffet. A buffet is nice, particularly for Indian food, so that you can try different dishes. A buffet normally lets you control what you eat and how much. Instead, they bring you a huge portion of rice and a few little chicken dishes ON A PLATE to your table, for their fake "buffet" dishes. To eat more, you have to order another plate. you have no choice what is on it. they decide. you have to eat the huge amount of rice and the skimpy pieces of meat to get another. this is just stupid in my opinion. In all fairness, the food here is good, but DO NOT COME HERE FOR A BUFFET. Here, you really do not have a choice of : to buffet or not to buffet, that is the question. I think I read that in Shakespeare, somewhere. Please don't quote me on that.

Anurag Giri

Friendly service and awesome food. One can opt for á la carte or Thali- veg or non veg platter comes with 3 curries, bread and rice( all you can eat, served on table). Loved chicken tikka masala of this place or I can say best in Greenville area and will definitely choose their service again. They can make it perfect meal by adding sweet to the buffet.

JM Hoskinson

I've gone to this place for years because of the 5 star food, but it also needs 5 stars for its customer service. This racist customer at the table beside us was SO RUDE to the very sweet waitress. They bent over backwards for him and were so kind. I'll be coming back because they are such great people!

Kaleb Hardin

Slow service and dry meat

Stephen Hill

The Top place in Greenville or in the whole of the upstate for Indian food. If you haven't been you are missing out.

Excellent authentic Indian cuisine! Wonderful customer service in a lovely atmosphere!

Sagarbocheer K J

Very disappointed. Ordered rice thali and paratha and naan. Paratha was not cooked well and not fresh. Naan felt like it is pita bread. And paneer tikka masala was average.

Jeffrey Kendrick

One of the reasons my wife married me is because I would go to India Palace with her. She loves their food and I do too. We had an appetizer, two entrees, a bread basket, and two spiced chai ice teas for about $50.

Rebecca Ricks

The best tomato soup I have eaten. I also had onion naan which was also very good. Staff is nice & atmosphere is cultural. I highly recommend & will visit again the next time I am in Greenville.

Jessica Griffin

Spectacular food. Seriously. So delicious.

Julia Ruby

Delicious food!

Kenneth C

Took my wife for lunch today. Food was great! As the guy is refilling my water, a dead roach pours out of the pitcher, into my glass!!! He didn't notice, so I pointed it out. He takes the glass away, brings another and shows me that it is clean, and proceeds to fill it from the same pitcher that held the roach!!!!! If that happens right in front of you, what's going on back in the kitchen where no one is watching? Will never set foot in there again!

India Palace, without a doubt, reigns SUPREME. My husband and I LOVE Indian food and decided to check out India Palace on a friend's recommendation. Oh. My. Soul. Can't wait to go again

William Twentyman

Great food and service every time.

Karpal Singh

One of the best Indian cuisine in South Carolina, soothing music, nice behaving staff and quick service. They will not even let your glass be empty. Perfect place to relax and enjoy

Stella & Gene Young

Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Always 5*

Wesley Reid

OMG good!!

Jacob Willoughby

Price is a tad bit high but amazing food and large quantities.

devin bailey

This is definitely an authentic Indian restaurant. The food is outstanding and without a doubt, its something one should try if not going to India themselves and ordering a similar dish from off of the menu. It's a small and semi hidden by it's surroundings on the outside but once you step foot inside the mood changes with the delicious smells and soothing background music. It's very quiet restaurant so you don't have to worry about shouting if you bring a friend. I ordered the lamb in particular which they have various flavors and variations of that selection; and I enjoyed that option greatly. To be honest I felt kind of skeptical by the way the establishment looks but I sucked it up and gave it a chance and it turned out to be better than I could have ever imagined by a long shot. I plan to return the next time I'm craving Indian food because that was my first time ever eating at an Indian restaurant since I'm not the biggest fan of the curry flavor but it was absolutely magnificent and well worth the time and money though it's not very expensive. The portions are very reasonable, nothing too over filling but definitely enough to have leftovers if you fill quickly. Overall experience gets a total of 5 out of 5 stars but the cosmetics of the restaurant doesn't show it's true power ranking in the food service industry. Nonetheless, I definitely recommend anyone or everyone to go try it out.

corey vickers

Great food. Wasnt on board with the spiced tea however. Wait staff was accurate and friendly, just not very outward going. I will for sure be going back!

monica Grant

Best Indian food I have had in a long time

Conner Hill

The food was authentic and tasted amazing. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and helpful staff.

Thomas Bonds

Really good food. Nice staff.

Jocelyn Sloan

I have never had anything off of the menu that wasn't delicious. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Josiah Long

Amazing food! Business casual dress suggested. The owner/manager was the only one in at the time who spoke understandable English, so be prepared to be patient and work with your server.

Rohith Krishnan

The biriyani needs improvement. The taste was just sub par. The masala used is just a disappointment.

Cindy G

Love the food! Great atmosphere and service.

Richard List

A regular customer.. i am very predicable almost always get my lamb with creamy cashew and mint sauce.. love it...tried the keema naan and a strong Indian beer (cool.power??) both were outstandingly complimentary. Always and ejoyable and satisfing experience.

William Marlar

Magnificent Food. Mwah. Such a nice place to eat and when I first tasted the food my taste buds tingled because it was just so amazing. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes this type of food. The food hit my tongue and i just wanted to sing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. The most amazing food I have ever had!!

Bill Gagnon

Very nice place looks like it is family owed food was great service was great.

Praise Adesina

Really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant! The creamy tomato soup is to die for! The space is pretty small and cozy so when you speak do so in low volume otherwise others can hear you.

j stratton lobdell

Excellent food. Very attentive service.

Michelle Brunner

This is a place my dad used to take me to. He passed away in 2003. The food is great and in a way I get to be with the memory of him. There's no way for me to be imparshal!!!!

pranit valunj

worst india food i’ve ever had

Carissa Cleveland

Very delicious cuisine! Will be back!

Laura Berry

Great food. Delicious varieties of breads. Love the mango chicken.

Jessica Sparkle

Best Indian food in the area for sure. I've tried three quarters of the menu and have never been disappointed. The wait staff doesn't speak any English: water, to go box, more rice. You'd think they would know at least the basics but no. Luckily, getting food to go is an option. :)

David S

Fantastic! This place has excellent food. I ordered the "Buffett" plate. It has a combination of dishes served together and you can reorder portions if you are still hungry. I am a 300lb man and I ate every bit of mine but did not need to ask for any more. I probably shouldn't have eaten it all but it was so good. They are very friendly here and they were continuously cleaning. It is a family owned business and it shows, they have skin in the game and aim to please. It was familiar enough that I knew what I was ordering yet uniquely different in their own right, and uniquely good tasting. I believe they may have a real tandoori oven in the kitchen because the tandoori chicken tasted like no other I had before and it was absolutely incredible.

El Duque

Decent but nothing special.
