Even with a long line, this place was fast and we were able to find a table right away! The barbecue is amazing, as well as the Mac n Cheese, Beans, and fries! I only wish we had been able to try their dessert (I think it was some sort of peach cobbler? My husband and read about it), but they were all out. They make some fantastic sweet tea. Friendly staff as well. We would definitely come here again next time we're in Greenville!

My husband and I were visiting family in the area. I wanted to experience Carolina-style, whole hog BBQ. Google and Yelp had high ratings for this place. When we entered, we saw why. Blue collar and white collar workers were in line, joking amicably amongst themselves. The kitchen was efficiently moving orders along. We were in line for no more than 5 minutes. When our food arrived, we were given generous portions of what we ordered. Husband stuck with what he was familiar with, beef brisket. I was more adventurous with my order of pulled pork and pork ribs. He is a Louisiana guy and I am a Texas chick. We are snobs when it comes to BBQ. Henry's impressed both of us! One thing was a hiccup in my opinion...who puts raisins in sweet potato casserole?? Even that did not deter us from giving this place 5 stars!

I cannot state how disappointed I was. We have heard really good things about Henry's and we were looking forward to the visit. We ordered Ribs, Mac, Sweet Potato Casserole (As per recommendation from cashier) and Fries. So... The mac was terrible.. Tasted like Cheese whiz on over cooked noodles. The Sweet Potato was.. well SUPER SWEET. Too Sweet, add some crust crumbles and a scoop of icecream and it was dessert. The Fries were great though, really the redemption of the meal. Now the Ribs.. They weren't dry so that was good, but they tasted.. dirty? Like the rub on them was burnt or the smoker just needed to be cleaned. (Clean your smokers everyone that gunk does not "add flavor" ) So they really needed sauce, and this is where the meal really fell apart for me, each of the "mild" and "spicy" sauces were one note, Mustard and meh. Mixed together they weren't so bad but gosh it was just.. not great. Really really heart broken, I was super in the mood for ribs and was stoked to visit this place. My only hope is that this was a one off, a bad night, maybe I should have just stuck with the BBQ pork and not eaten the Ribs. But if you can't nail your whole menu... just take the item off.

Our first time eating here. We were impressed that the meat was pure meat without the fat and junk you find in other BBQ places. The sides were very tasty.

I ordered with my family online and I chose the 3 meat option. My ribs were very slim meaning no meat. Also the meat was extremely tough to chew even for my dog. Fries are always good and so was the hash. The chicken breast wasn't a big deal for me. Just not what I had built it up to be to my family.

Henry's Smokehouse offers some of the best pulled pork bbq in the area. The ribs are also a good choice and they offer a variety of traditional sides as well as french fries. Service is usually very fast, too, even for carryout orders for a family.

Tender, smoky pork BBQ with tangy sauces on a soft, brioche-like bun really hit the spot today! The sweet potato casserole is the perfect soft, creamy foil to the piquant BBQ sauce. Macaroni is not baked macaroni pie, but more like Stouffer's mac-and-cheese. Nice portions, fun atmosphere, lovely staff. A great meal.

Been by this place allot finally stopped in Saturday 1pm. I know good Q and this place disappointed. I always judge by the ribs-they were dry, heavy on black pepper, St Louis, thin. Mac and cheese was pitiful , (Kraft box maybe). Cole slaw was average. Threw most away.

Loved the barbecue. The sides were hit or miss. The fries are outstanding. The baked beans and potato salad were just okay. Definitely recommend finishing with the banana pudding. The space is cute, but at a busy time of day, it can feel cramped very quickly. Very limited seating.

Got our meal to go. Ultra delicious pulled pork sandwiches. No ribs are more moist and tender than Henry's. Got to ask for extra sauce so remember to do so. Very nice ladies taking order. Delicious sides also.

Grew up in SC and was visiting for Thanksgiving and excited to have good pulled pork, hash and rice and tangy mustard BBQ sauce. Unfortunately many places were closed all weekend for the holiday. I had never tried Henry’s but it definitely satisfied my cravings with some of the best SC BBQ I’ve had. Loved the atmosphere of the Wade Hampton location. Wish I could have taken a few jars of their mustard and hot sauces home. See you next time I’m home.

Very surprised by the food. I went for lunch and got the 1/2 rack with two sides, more than enough for two meals. You may have to add an extra side for the second meal, however. Give it a try if you like barbecue.

Henry's provided a bulk order for my baby shower and my guests have been talking about how great the food was ever since. Made sure to let them know to visit the Wade Hampton location. Awesome customer service, food was fresh and on time for pick up. Again awesome customer service in every sense, will be ordering with them again.

When dining here all I can say is Holy Vinegar Batman!! From the coleslaw down to the sauces and obviously the pickles that they put on every plate, the strong vinegar taste and smell ruin the taste of the food. We all ordered something different. My daughter ordered pulled pork with green beans and potato salad and she said that the pork was okay but the green beans tasted bland and the potato salad was pretty much just edible. I ordered a pork sandwich with coleslaw which was a mistake because the vinegar taste from the coleslaw completely overpowered the taste of the pulled pork, which would have been great solo, by the way. As sides, I got macaroni and cheese and a side of coleslaw which was a mistake...Times 2! My wife on the other hand got a combo plate of chicken and pulled pork with coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. She had several issues with her food. The chicken was extremely dry. She was given a plastic fork and knife to cut it up with and she struggled a good bit to cut through it. Then the quality of the chicken itself was pretty bad. It was too small and full of veins and she was constantly picking at it and eventually she just gave up on it because it wasn't worth the upper body strength to keep trying to salvage parts of it. She loved the pulled pork but said that the macaroni and cheese tasted like Velveeta and that isn't a good thing. She gave it a few bites and gave up. The cole slaw was the same way. It looks great but tastes like straight vinegar. Lastly, the bread that they put on the plates has the consistency of a sponge and is really dry. My wife tried it, had to dip it in sauce to get the bite down and left it on the plate. She took pictures of her plate which was just basically barely touched except for the pork that she was able to eat. Finally, I ordered some peach cobbler. That is the worst peach cobbler that I have ever had. It was very dry, like sand dry. It was full of breading and had barely any peaches in it. Each of us tried a bite and we all agreed that it was garbage. We eventually just stopped trying with the food and got up to leave. The woman that was clearing the table looked shocked that we were done eating and even asked if we were finished before she took the plates. None of us wanted to tell her that the food just wasn't good, so we left and decided not to go back. On the way home, my wife told me that her tounge and mouth were sore and she was guessing that it was from all of the vinegar. She liked the pickles on the plate that she got, took those bites of coleslaw and used sauce on her pork so I am guessing that the vinegar was just too much for her. My daughter also mentioned having a stomach ache after eating there, so maybe the vinegar and just okay food that she ate was just too much for her as well. I give this place two stars and that is solely for the pulled pork and the fresh CocaCola in the soda fountain.

I'm giving this place five stars and I haven't even eaten here yet for the simple fact that they serve Hash&Rice and loaf bread. It's what sets S.C. Barbecue apart from the rest of the country. I am looking forward to coming here to eat.

First time and last time. The food is tasteless and $20 for two tasteless plates with a side being canned green beans and bland tasting Mac and cheese? The barbecue only has flavor after you add the sauce and all you can taste then is heat. No thank you.

They catered our family wedding May 2019 and brought the food all the way to Table Rock Lodge. The staff went above and beyond with a totally awesome buffet set up. They stayed on to clean up and packaged the leftovers for us, even remembering to prepare special plates for the bride and groom who were busy greeting. The portions were far more generous than expected and the price for what you get is most likely unbeatable. The food was hot, fresh and the guests were happy. Would definitely recommend for casual, family type events. So easy to work with!

We went here because of the great reviews. The food was ok, but I was disappointed. The pulled pork was dry and a little tough. The chicken breast was pretty bland. The ribs were good though, cooked perfectly, nice and smokey and seasoned right. The mac and cheese was pretty standard and honestly just meh. Green beans were alright but could have been from a can. Everything except the ribs (again, very good) was pretty bland and needed the bbq sauce it came with. The Hash was good as well.
