Popo Mattice

The burgers are good, handformed. The skinny fries are fresh. Disappointed with the chicken corn chowder, it was more like a potato bacon stew, few corn kernel and way too thick. The nachos was overloaded but no flavor. Almost tasted like sauce from can.

Average burgers at a higher price. The location is great, but with the menu changes they are significantly less impressive than when I first went. Honestly you're better off going somewhere else unless you're desperate for a burger.

Ordered the old markdonald (medium) as you can see, it was over cooked and so was the egg so it didn't run. Also go the trio of sides (skinny fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings) all seemed old and greasy would have been 5 stars for service but just missed the mark in a few areas

I gave this place three chance and they are so rude. I get it, its hot out and it's hot and humid inside but I can't eat in that heat with bugs flying and people being rude.

Great menu. We split a mini mess and a fry sampler and it was really good. The orange cinnamon dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries was a new thing for me but worked very well. Only downside was no one seemed to get silverware unless you asked.

First time visiting Grill Marks, liked the outside covered patio, the fries are seasoned pretty good, but they forgot to season the burger. The Burger was nothing special, no taste at all to them. My friend even said mid way through that his burger taste was bland and I agreed. Sorry Grill Marks you missed the Mark.

This is my go to for burgers in the area. The fries are so on point (especially the pimento blue cheese fries!). I've tried at least five different specialty burgers and loved all of them. They also offer gluten free buns which is so convenient for me!

Great, relaxing burger joint! The burger I had was phenomenal! I don't know what kind of beef they use but it was extremely high quality. The fries were perfectly cooked & the lemonade was delicious. I would eat here 3 times a week if I could.

This is a long post..... We went when 1st open never been befoe . We decided to try since we were in town (were from Belton SC)...we were greeted by a gentleman with no smile.. Was told we can sit where ever we choose patio...he gave us our menus and walked away

Good food, and a terrific location. The set-up of the tables was odd, and my friend and I were disturbed several times during our meal by people needing to get to their tables against the wall. Also, the app they promote on their website didn't seem to be accurate. It showed a 15-20 minute wait, but our table was available as soon as we walked in the door ( good issue, right?). It's a nice, casual atmosphere and I just hope they rearrange the tables.

The burger was great. Service not so much. The young lady nwho was the hostess was obviously not happy to be there and frankly presented an awful first impressions. I'd maybe give it another shot, if only because the food itself was definitely the star. A bit more attention to quality and consistent service and this place would approach 5 stars.

Sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. The bartender rudely assumed my friend was under 21 without even asking for her ID first. After ordering food, we were ignored by one particular bartender the rest of our meal. Asked what I assumed was some sort of manager figure for our check since we were ignored otherwise and recieved a lovely eye roll. The bar staff tended to other customers with smiles around us but I felt as if we were inconveniencing them. Food was delicious but they need to work on their hospitality. Also, the milkshakes are pretty cool.

Outside/inside seating and TVs. Kids accepted with child menus. The Hot Dogs and fries were great; healthy dogs at that. Drinks were good with several different types to choose. The bartenders and I were tripping out as I sat at the bar which was cool being my first visit and all. Then I witnessed her make a shake dessert that made me get one immediately and it was worth it. But to seal the deal, I witnessed that same bartender take the order of a death couple and she handled the situation soo well I commended her and gave an extra tip because her chivalry definitely wasn't dead. I can't lie though, I initially thought the service was going to be horrible but those young folks quickly impressed. Reservations are not recommended. Clean and well decorated atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Clean restrooms.

Greenville, South Carolina is one of my favorite places in the world. My soul is at peace here, a feat which is increasingly rare in the last few months. This time, I was introduced to Grill Marks. The aesthetic of the place foreshadows an expensive menu, yet that is only half right. The quality of the food more than justifies its prices. And then there’s the shake. Look at it. Let it wash over you as it did me, leaving me elated.

Slowwwwwwwwwwww, not super friendly, staff seems disorganized every time I'm there. People walk up from their table to get their drinks...maybe next time will be better. September 2019 - So I gave them a second chance and got the food to go. It was equally bad and not even busy. The burger tastes like there isn't any seasoning and the bun was a little stale. The price I was charged was more than the online listed price and I didn't feel like arguing. I get home and there is about 8 steak fries when I ordered skinny. I'm done. This place has a good location and a decent milk shake. That's about it.

Good food for the type of restaurant it is. We generally come for the shakes (some are alcoholic) which are delicious. Indoor seating flows into the outdoor patio when the garage door is open in the summer. Cool atmosphere.

Food was amazing, milkshakes are out of this world over the top crazy but so good. Had the Hawaiian hamburger during restaurant week, so yummy! 4 stars because it was very crowded and even when we finally got seated took a while for bartender to finally take our order. She was tending bar, answering the phone and making milkshakes...she was overwhelmed.

I would first like to say that the food is pretty good. But this place is gross! I watched a guy pull trash through the restaurant and leak a bloody substance on the floor. Not one employee cleaned it up. Then a second guy drags a bag of trash by our table and leaked a white substance on the floor. It smells god awful and the employees are just looking at it. Management has to be bad, this experience does make me question how clean the kitchen is. What ever I stepped in upon entering the establishment is slick and won’t come off of my shoe.

Grill Mark's is Awesome! Their food is Wonderful. Prepared and presented very nicely. Their hamburgers are Delicious and don't forget to order the fries. They come in a fun little fryer baskets. And don't leave without ordering one of their hand made giant shakes. Out of this world. They are right across the street from the Peace Center. So if you are going to a show, it is very convenient. Our server was terrible. We ordered a few drinks, took 15 minutes to get them. She never checked back until they had been empty for several minutes. We asked for our check which took another 15 minutes. If it wasn't for the great location this will be a one star mainly due to service.

Visited here last night. We were initially told the wait would be 45 minutes, typical for a warm Saturday spring evening. Then it went to 30 minutes. Less than 15 minutes later, we were seated. Our waiter Chris was personable and attentive. There was a good selection of food. We had poutine to begin, it was yum. I had a grilled cheese and corn chowder, not bad. The others had burgers, which they liked.

bad manager, argued with us over a raw hamburger. place smells like a dumpster when you walk in. sure more information as requested, my wife ordered your three tiny hamburgers , they were under cooked, and came to table late. everyone else at the table was done eating. Asked for the manager , told him the problem and wanted the burgers removed from the bill. He argued making comment that she at one of the small burgers, poor response for sure, no, I am sorry or anything else, just nasty. brought the bill without the charge for the burgers and walked away. If he worked for me he would have been fired!

Horrible service. First time here. We have been sittig over 45 min for our food. Watching others get food. Havent refilled our drinks. Have asked about our food twice. And still nothing. * corrected from a 1 star review. After finally talking to the manager. Tucker was able to remedy the situation. He comped our meals and gave us a free app to any location for our troubles. The food was really good. Turns out they forgot to put our order in. But all is well. Thanks to the management and Tucker.

Such a great place for an elevated burger and milkshake! The burgers are always cooked right. I love the Hawaiian Punch burger, it's a great combination with the sweet and sour pineapple and the spicy jalapenos they have on it. The sweet potato fries are also amazing and love the sauce that comes with them!

Fairly decent burgers and drinks but it’s so congested inside. Can barely move, feels very uncomfortable even when seated at your own table. And can we talk about that bathroom situation?! One bathroom for everyone to share? One per gender that is. That’s insane. I’ve been to Grill Marks twice now, that’s enough for me. With so many options in Greenville”s downtown area to choose from, this is low on my place to revisit

Next time I will stick to the burgers. We ordered the featured special, a patty melt, and the patty didn't even come close to covering the bread. Very skimpy portion. We went there for the pet friendly patio seating so we were content, but they were apparently short on servers and it took 2 1/2 hours just to get served and then wait on our check for almost 30 minutes. It took so long we got a parking ticket for exceeding the 2 hour limit.

Took my fiancé here for Sunday lunch - He and I are big burger fanatics! The restaurant is really cool looking! Definitely gives that downtown vibe experience you look for when you go to the city to eat. However, I was mildly disappointed with my burger. It was super small. My lettuce “wrapped” burger was not wrapped in lettuce, but placed on top of a bed of lettuce, so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. My fiancé got the beer cheese cheeseburger. He said it was not bad, but not amazing. We left hungry.

The food is great. Burgers taste delicious, and a variety of options to choose from. I love that you can have a lettuce wrap or gluten free bun, and to top it off they offer SO MANY GLUTEN FREE APPETIZERS! More by far than anywhere else in town, and paralleled only by one other restaurant I’ve been anywhere. The onion rings are delicious and gluten free. They also have boozy milkshakes, and I’ve heard they’re great. I can’t say personally, as I avoid sugar.

Not a very good experience when we ate there on May 30, 2019 about 7:00pm Ordered burger with pepper jack cheese, lettuce and tomato along with the three way (sweet potato fries, fried pickles and Onion rings). Bun for the burger was dry, fries and Onion rings came out cold. Our waitress offered to replace them but we chose not to, she had the manager take them off the bill and apologized.

Fantastic happy hour specials and options for everyone in the family. Vegan friendly. That's big for me because my wife is vegan and very discerning regarding her cuisine. She had the Portobello something and loved it. The shakes are something out of a diabetics nightmare but almost worth it because the pure taste involved. Oh, back to drinks. Rotating beer menu so you can try something new every time and they mainly stay local with it. Good service. Attentive but not overwhelming. Fries rock! Skinny or fat. Great place to hit up as a watering hole in the mall while the family shops. This place is personally dad approved. Did I mention the burgers are perfectly cooked and the ingredients super fresh?!
